Ms Ronstandt was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, she is 67 years old, and had difficulty walking, never mind trying to do aerobics. Is not lack of discipline. Is simply hard to even do simple tasks. She has given us so much of her talent, just let her be.
I agree. I find it hard the judgments made on a woman if she "lets herself go". Linda already had a difficult syndrome before her Parkinsons. No-one remains a "babe" forever. Even if a woman is well herself, she may have caring responsibilities, and these increase as we age, and preclude a slavish adherence to a gym routine. (I know that when Linda was young she ran regularly and worked out - almost obligatory where she lived.) As you say, she has given us so much of her talent. She has had a long, amazing career and interpreted songs in ways we will never forget. That is a legacy, not retaining the body of a "babe" into your 70s.
una mckillen I am always amazed at these dumb comments about famous women not looking "hot" when they get older. Can you imagine someone saying that about your grandma? LOL...ridiculous.
XuXu Luckily women care so much less about looking "hot" as they age than men do. I seriously believe that the most gorgeous women (like Linda) are not the most aware of it. I also think women are realistic. We know that probably mid-50s, with the best will in the world and the most advanced of cosmetics and medical science, is it for us so we have to find other things. Linda certainly has and I wish her well.
... and it has become my favorite song. The two performers together are incredable. And Linda so cute. What a chick she was. Greetings from Germany ... ❤
Linda you look so beautiful in mind, soul, and body. And your voice in this song is a great complement to Johnny Cash. I hope your health stays well, and your book sell well
It is so heartening to see Johnny Cash, an older, more experienced performer, use his fame to give a younger, up-and-coming performer like Linda Rondtadt a boost by performing with her. It helps ensure the future of the tradition. I can tell they are putting their hearts into the song, and are playing off each other well. Excellent.
Johnny Cash and Linda Ronstadt if they only knew how many people love them so much me I’m 76 years old I’ll never get the chance to meet them only in my mind and I’ll always be there for the rest of my day
I still play her records and sing along when I do. I loved her style and voice from the moment I saw and heard her wonderful voice all those years ago. I am 65 now and it seems like just Yesterday. Thankyou Linda you were and are great.
I fell in love with her back in those day's. I stumbled across this video and realized something....... I never really fell out of love with her! There's pretty, there's hot, there's gorgeous and then there's "hauntingly beautiful" and that's Linda Ronstadt!
Believed every note she sang. From the earliest performances, like this here tender beauty, to her current presentation nowadays talking about her musical journeys - Linda was an original heartthrob with a glorious singing voice.
When I think of Marty Robbins' great song, "El Paso," and its hero's love interest, the beautiful Felina, I think of the beautiful Linda Ronstadt and her beautiful voice. In addition to being the undisputed king of country music and one of the best songwriters ever, Johnny Cash was always a champion of young talent.
Hello, cowgirl in the sand, Is this place in your command? Can I stay here for a while? Can I see your sweet, sweet smile? The muse for California rockers.

Its not fair. Such a vile disease.
Perfekte Stimmen. Einfach nur schön🙏
its now 2023 and still listening to this song for the last 5 years
... and it has become my favorite song. The two performers together are incredable. And Linda so cute. What a chick she was. Greetings from Germany ... ❤
Linda you look so beautiful in mind, soul, and body. And your voice in this song is a great complement to Johnny Cash. I hope your health stays well, and your book sell well
She was gorgeousss 😍😍😍
It is so heartening to see Johnny Cash, an older, more experienced performer, use his fame to give a younger, up-and-coming performer like Linda Rondtadt a boost by performing with her. It helps ensure the future of the tradition. I can tell they are putting their hearts into the song, and are playing off each other well. Excellent.
Hübsch ist sie.
Johnny wie immer. Einschussloch im Kinn, einmalige Stimme.
I have always had a crush on Linda, I am 75 and I still do. This duet is priceless.
I'm 65 and feel the very same way !!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I was in love with her in the 70's. She was beautiful and man could she sing!! I miss her and wish her well with her struggle.
Hello how are you doing…?
Wow!--What an incredible voice for such a young (23) woman!--And she never looked more beautiful!
Johnny Cash and Linda Ronstadt if they only knew how many people love them so much me I’m 76 years old I’ll never get the chance to meet them only in my mind and I’ll always be there for the rest of my day
Linda Ronstadt is still alive, you might bump into her someday.
Linda looks constipated
@@fourseasons2349 She always had to sit that way in these short clothes. Back in the days. Long gone....
Live singing , no auto-tune. The best have left us.

Linda is still with us, though she has lost her singing voice.
A wonderful old sad song done perfectly. Her clear, high voice and his gravelly bass. Just right.
Planet Earth had some pleasures to offer. This here is two of them. A smitten Johnny Cash and a young Linda Ronstadt. For the ages.
Quelle pureté vocale de ces deux artistes exceptionnels !!!
Can't believe how STUNNING LINDA was...and even though we all change in looks as we get older, Linda will always be a beautiful soul!
Kane, I had such a crush on Linda growing up.
I have too agree with you !!! 👍👍👍👍👍
She is all that you mentioned !!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
"Blacker than night were the eyes of Felina .."
@@lynneperrigo7551 - Great western song...I listen to it every so often.
Beautiful, miss you Johnny, love you so much Linda. Thank you for making the world a better place.😊

When you had NO autotune they were the REAL DEAL
Simply wonderfull
As a physics professor, I enjoy natural oscillations.
You know that, back then, most variety shows had lypsinched performances, right? What you now call "autotune".
She hurts my eyes ....she is SO beautiful!
Two of the truly greats in music. I'm so glad to have had Johnny and Linda to listen too all through my life.
Beautiful, I feel so much joy listening to her sing.
Hello how are you doing today?
Love the way she swings her legs up and beams a smile after he kisses her cheek at the end. Really cute 😊
what a beautiful song from two of the greats to reach our hearts Linda you were & still are so beautiful i wish you well
A vocalist so special, such warmth and wetness in her voice even at this early phase of her career. Heartbreak and strength has never combined in one woman's voice as it did with Linda. She's a real emotional girl - wishing her the best.
Johnny Cash was such a tremendous Artist, he way transcended just country, and what can you say about Linda Ronstadt?, Taylor Swift and other female "singers" of today have absolutely nothing to offer!, It's sad. RZ53
I had forgotten just how gorgeous Linda was, Man oh man - and she could sing, too!
This is Linda as her complete package: beautiful voice, so expressive, and gorgeous.
Most beautiful gentle voice of this Angel of so many years ago. Thank you Linda and Jonny Cash
Loved her in the sixties, and seventies and still love and listen to her to this day.
Hey how are you doing?
