@@thecaptaincrayfish3873 That's not what I said though. Yes, her voice lives on. What I said was that she cannot sing like she used to and that is sad.
If I had to guess, I’d say she could still probably sing at a very high level by our standards even now. It seems she is just such a perfectionist that unless she can do it at what she believes to be a perfect level, she’d just rather not do it at all. I understand that, but I think we’d all love to hear her voice again, no matter what state it’s in.
Linda, you were once the greatest singer on this planet. Your fans who love you will always keep your music alive and remember, you’re unforgettable! ❤
Time passes by so slowly when I was a kid in the 70"s and all sorts of different music was on the radio. That radio was on all day, and I don't know if anyone can remember, it had those old valve tubes in it, and there was a "cats eye"..that started glowing and two round knobs left and right, one to find a radiochannel and the other for vollume. I have loved Linda since the 70s...there has not been another voice like hers...but even I didn't know ALL of the amazing things she did, rules she broke and successes she had. There is a clip of her, in the 70s, speaking about male domination in the music world..as always, she was ahead of her time! A true American treasure.
When I was a junior in high school, Linda Ronstadt was a senior -- in the same school, Catalina High, in Tucson. Linda would sing with her band, The Stone Ponies, at school dances. I have been a longtime fan. God bless you, Linda! Thanks for the music.
Sending love back to your heart did you attend any live show?
@@micharf340 Only if you count a school dance.
Bless her heart. that was difficult to see an icon struggling now. She will always be a favorite of mine.
Love you Linda.
Linda was at the Troubadour in August 25th 1970 when Elton, Dee and Nigel debuted. and SHE is the one who said "It went so well that it felt like everyone LEVITATED off the floor" and thats why that scene was the way it was
Linda's beautiful attitude is just as amazing as her singing voice.💖
My BF and I used to listen to her music before I lost him, and it breaks my heart again to see her this way now. Thank you for what you gave me.
Same here before I lost my GF, the love of my life. Her song 'Someone to Lay Down beside me' (written by the beautiful Karla Bonoff)' brings back so many memories.
Love this lady. Grew up listening to her very good music 👍🏻
It must be quite difficult for someone with such an amazing voice to lose it, but she seems to have a great attitude.
yes she is Mexican or half Mexican, I found her music a few years ago and found her soo good
