Hey, I love a premier inn I did my own vlog on them the other week. Didn't know they were in Germany they look exactly the same. Great vlog.

My youngest is very excited to see this as she stayed at this hotel last year when attending a gamer comvention in Koln. Very good it was too.

Nice! Yeah it's a handy hotel, not too far from the centre but also a better price than many places right in Cologne city

Wife has booked us into Berlin City Premier Inn in April. It was my Santa surprise.
On Christmas Day, not long after I found I was going to one, Steve Marsh released a video where he went to the one at Berlin Brandenburg Airport.

Nice! I haven't seen that video of Steve's yet, I'll have to check it out! Enjoy :)

Your pronunciation on the city names was pretty good, btw. You just got the vowel sounds in Leipzig and Wiesbaden mixed up. 'ei' ist always pronounced as in Einstein, 'ie' is always as in chief. And a 'z' is always pronounced as in pizza.

Danke! Good to know. I guess I do remember a little bit of my German GCSE somewhere 😂

I really enjoy your videos, however Premier Inns aren't all that new in Germany (I would say some of them have been open at least four years) and there are at least 60 of them across Germany.
In saying that, I've stayed in at least 5 of them in Germany now and they have all been really nice and great value for money! This room is also much smaller than all of the ones I have stayed in so far.

Thanks for the comment, I feel like post-pandemic time has just whizzed away 🤣 saw an article about them launching and have been meaning to try one out since then haha. Maybe I meant 12 cities in the video rather than 12 hotels 🙃 that's interesting that the others are bigger, the new Premier Inns in the UK are really nice (the older ones can be a bit dated though)

@@ClairesFootsteps You're absolutely right that the post-pandemic time has flown by!
I haven't stayed in a UK Premier Inn in at least 10 years and due to my positive experiences with them in Germany, I will definitely give it a try some time soon.
Hilariously, there are two Premier Inns almost opposite each other beside my office in Stuttgart. No idea if they are any good or not!

Awesome review but it certainly doesn't look as good as a Premier Inn in the UK.

Did you say how much it cost?…. Think I missed it.
