A great video, Claire. You suffer from a condition which I called 'Frontieraphilia' - a love of land borders. I'm planning on visiting Aachen in April, and the plan is to catch a local bus around 15km south to a German town called Roetgen. For all border lovers this is a must. This is where you can access the Vennbahn, which is probably the wierdest border in the world. The disused railway track (now a cycle path) is Belgian, but either side is German territory and this slither of Belgium weaves it's away through Germany before returning to Belguim. It's a throwback to the 1st World War.

Haha I do indeed! Land borders are fascinating. I hadn't heard of that, that's so interesting - off to look at a map now. Will look forward to watching your video from there. If you have time in Aachen I highly recommend the International Newspaper Museum :)
