Not sure Kev, can’t remember. Most likely something like a 30.06, .300 or 7mm. This hunt was about 8 months ago, just re-discovered the clip on my computer and realized I never posted it. Appreciated your continues support tho. Seen your comments on many of our videos. Come hunt with us sometime!

If a person hunts a Bison or Nilgia with 300 Win Mag, is 210gr ABLR going 2815fps at the muzzle a good choice? If not, what bullet/ energy do you recommend?

That bullet will def. do the job. Ive watched guys shoot a bison with a traditional long bow and it dies in 30 seconds and Ive seen bison shot several times with a .375 and go for miles. Its all about shot placement. Hit those lungs and heart, and you should be fine with just about any premium bullet brand that has a controlled expansion to ensure deep penetration. Personally I wouldn’t use anything less than my 30.06 165 grain bullets (I’ve killed a 2000lb Eland bull in Tanzania with that exact setup) , but it can be done with smaller calibers. You can typically get pretty close to these guys so you don’t need a cannon, any common “deer rifle” with a heavier bullet will do the job if shot placement is good.
