I confused "Hallmark" with "Lifetime" and was waiting for Lee to kidnap Cassie and hold her in his house of false walls and secret dungeons... I guess that doesn't really scream Thanksgiving unless you bring in former NYPD Captain Fraker (Lee's estranged Cousin who bullied him when they were kids) to rescue Cassie and severely wound Lee with an electric carving knife in the process.

No, no - it might actually SERIOUSLY be a requirement policy-wise for any video on RUclips that mentions crypto. A video and even entire channel can get pulled otherwise. It actually added a hilarious and unexpected true to life aspect. Every vid on RUclips that even mentions crypto has to include that kind of a disclaimer.
The disclaimer being there adds to the hilarity. Of course, if it weren’t there, strange people would be raking my yard looking for Bitcoin. Which would be awesome. Because I have Bradford pears in the yard. They stink.
"Small-town smokeshow" is actually a pretty good backhanded compliment.

I'm wheezing. This is probably your best parody yet. Everything from the "I dated that stereotype in another movie", to the less than subtle names, to the other meta aspect ("This plot really is a stretch"), to the Bitcoin bit, to the disclaimer at the end saying how you do not endorse any particular financial advice (cause you KNOW there are certain types of people out there)...the whole thing made me laugh in the middle of work. Keep 'em coming!

Hallmark generally doesn't do Halloween movies. Fall movies, yes. Actual Halloween movies, no.
@@jeremyud I’m aware. Just thought it would be an interesting concept. Even though thought of a title called: Never Be Afraid of Love. The plot start was two people at a Halloween party at a college. They both have masks but have a nice night together. However, due to some circumstance they never know their real identity and never never see each other. Years later our MC is a successful business woman but thinks Halloween is a ridiculous holiday. Visit her hometown and meets a guy named… Jack. Fast forward to the third act at it reveals the the knew each other long ago. Even wearing the same costumes. Brought back together with a little Halloween magic.

Hallmark movies came up as a topic in one of the groups I'm in. I wrote the following synopsis:
She's an attorney from the big city who's come home to help her parents with their gift boutique after her dad's heart attack. While working in this small town, she runs into her old high school boyfriend who now makes artisan candles that her parents sell in their shop, which they haven't told her will be foreclosed on on Christmas eve if they can't generate enough sales. Now she'll have to work with her old flame to save her family business before she returns to the big city. . . or will she? Premiering this Saturday on Hallmark, it's "Light a Candle for Christmas".
