    I had crochet twists only for 4 week and I want to take them out. Lol! I kind of miss my hair now!

    Sorry to hear that you're struggling with heat damage!
    But I don't think using anything except 1. Aphogee 2-step, Olaplex, or K18 will actually work to fix the limp ends. Those are the only products I've seen that actually seem to reverse low level heat damage.

    Lastly, hair (even though the pattern is determined by genetics and triggered from curly to straight and vice versa with water) does have a memory of sorts, just as any fiber does. I would suggest choosing a protective style like twists that will encourage the curl over braids that might keep it a bit looser until it either reverts fully or grows out enough to trim.
