Lying down isn't possible for most people until maybe 5 days post op or longer. I had to sleep sitting up the first 4 days after both of my surgeries. I'd recommend lying elevated, propped on pillows if you can't go all the way down without severe pain. ♥️
@@niki-eb9isWalk as much as you can. My mom but warm tequila on my back, shoulder, legs and feet and it got me burping and passing gas. Make sure to cover up immediately the parts that are treated. Also, avoid the belly area. You don’t want to get any alcohol near it.
I had a laparoscopic surgery last july 22,2021 and now i wanna go back to my normal routine so thanks to this vid, cuz i can do workouts even though i did a surgery ♥️
@@IntimateRose Thank you, you're right! I spoke with my surgeon and he referred me to a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to start with before getting into any other exercises/stretches
It always comes down to when your doctor releases you for your specific surgery. Most physicians clear patients to start gentle stability exercises by week 6 post op.
My surgery was two weeks ago ...my body just feels weak and I just get impatient, so I need to give it some time. Drinking lots of fluids seems to help too.
Yes, definitely give yourself some grace and time to heal. Lots of rest and fluids to stay hydrated is always a great idea. Wishing you the best in your healing journey!
Am working in a ship as marine officer. I had Laproscopic appendix surgery 15 days before can i go for the ship within one month. I have heavy work like weight lifting and embarking on 60° step. Is that possible?
@@IntimateRose Thank you for answering this, I’m in the same situation and wasn’t sure if it’s too late to help those areas. I can feel uncomfortable scar tissue inside and wanted to try something to reduce the discomfort.
2:50 this sounds like when female singer is trying to stop breathing out in on mic. can you show what yogic pranayama breathing is used for after intense concert? female singer heavy breathing? or for after intense workout? but get yourself breathing heavy to show how to calm?
You will need to speak with your doctor about when you can return to exercise. Generally speaking most surgeons will release patients to exercise by 12 weeks.
I had robotic surgery for prolapse 2 months ago. The doctor told me I could go back to normal workouts but I don't want to hurt myself or have it fall again. Help I really want to do the right way.
You can watch my videos for tips and I would highly recommend finding a Pelvic Physical Therapist that can help guide you towards a workout routine that is specifically suited for you.
So I had ovarian cyst for 3 years (with 3 sugerys ofc)and my lower belly is a lot bigger, some people think I am pregnant. If anyone has a link of a video or can make a video how to get rid of it please help.3 months until summer 😭
I had ovarian cysts that ruptured (worst pain ever) every other month for a little over a decade before going on a diet that got rid of them. They were so huge, too! My last cyst ruptured 9 or 10 years ago. My ovaries are super heathy today. I did have to get a laparoscopy for endometriosis (caused by a bicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn) in 2019 and my stomach never went back to flat. I just had another surgery 2 weeks ago to remove half my uterus and it's even bigger this time. I highly recommend a high-waisted black bikini bottom with a cute vintage top. Black is slimming and the vintage top somehow prevents me from looking like a grandma. 😆 Everyone's body is different, though, so you might find a way to flatten yours! You wrote this 5 months ago, so if you found a way, please let me know how you did it! 🙏🏼✨ p.s. That being said, even though I got rid of my ovarian cysts on my own, I wish I'd had surgery because I found out that my uterus shape was causing my infertility & painful periods ONLY once I finally did get surgery for something else. Surgery would've revealed this issue and I could've been done with all my pain so long ago. grrrr. Sending you so much love. Praying you don't need anymore surgeries! ♥️
As stated in my video, it's always best to consult with your physician as to what your post-surgical plan is because no two surgeries are the same. Recovery can be different for everyone. If cleared by your doctor, you can start a few days after the surgery with very gentle exercises. Please watch this video for more specific tips.
I delivered a baby on September 6 2020 thru vaginal birth and I had tubal ligation surgery on September 8 2020. Now can I start my normal exercises regularly to reduce my belly . Can I do skipping exercise and all. Please reply me
Be sure to consult with your physician for guidance. Most of the time it is safe to return to exercise 8-12 weeks after surgery. Request a referal to a pelvic physical therapist if you experience pain or other new symptoms.

Omg I only had my surgery 10 days ago but I want to start getting back into daily yoga, I hope this isn't too strenuous.
Be sure to wait until you are cleared by your surgeon to begin exercise. Most surgeons will recommend 6-9 weeks rest prior to reintroducing exercise.
