I have been having severe pelvic pains since my surgery, which has helped me immensely with the pain. Nothing was helping, not even meds. Thank you for doing this video. I do it every morning now, and when I wake up, I feel no pain.
Thank you! I am a little less than 2 weeks post op after a bilateral salpingectomy and I am not allowed to workout for 6 weeks and haven't been stretching for fear of pulling something I shouldn't. This was perfect and helped my muscles relax without putting too much strain on my body.
THANK YOU so much for this!! I'm 49 and had a "preventative" hysterectomy and oopherectomy 2 weeks ago. Prior to surgery I was in great shape (Tabata and HIIT workouts with kettlebells 15-30 lbs)... it's difficult following the lifting restrictions and my Dr never really went into what kinds of exercises are safe. It's difficult finding gentle workouts that we can do shortly after surgery. Thanks again!!
You are welcome! So glad you found this video helpful! When it comes to exercises it's all about learning how to optimally use your core & pelvic floor system and manage intra-abdominal pressure. Too much pressure can lead to pain, leaks, pressure, and more. Breathing and posture are key for this especially when exercising. Keep up the fabulous work!
This was exactly what I needed during my 3rd week of recovery. I was feeling discouraged. This is a perfect combination of gentleness and movement. I am already feeling some gentle digestion benefits. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your suggestion! I’ll add some more hysterectomy videos to our filming list! We have lots of core & pelvic floor videos and they are not about bearing down, but how to properly use your core and pelvic floor. We did an entire core & pelvic floor 30 day challenge.
So I am 6 months out and finally feel like i can start focusing on my core. So if. you video is beginner post surgery, what workout of your dod you suggest for intermediate level now at 6 months
These exercises can be done when ever feels best for you. They do not need to be done on an empty stomach or after having a meal whenever works best for your body
I just did this today thank you so much 🙏for sharing this video. I am 2weeks from my Hysterectomy Laparoscopic surgery recovery and I have been walking slow been❤️🩹going up the stairs slowly. We live in the 3rd Flr no elevator but I did fast recovery🤞I know it takes time to heal but I need to move my doctor told me no heavy lifting 5-10lbs. I really like this exercise❤
Hello I had hysterectomy last year. I started yoga after 6 months. In my 7th month I noticed a bump near the incisional area. That grew bigger with time. Found out that it is umbilical hernia. So got it operated 2 weeks ago. Now, I am a bit afraid of starting any exercises. Can I follow your exercises. Are these safe for me?
Great question! I always recommend checking in with your healthcare provider for what is best for you. A pelvic floor physical therapist can help guide you with where you are at now post-op. Breathing is so key for the pelvic floor and post-op. you got this 💗
Is your 3 day core reset good for someone who had a total hysterectomy not long ago? I have no prolapse and my doctor cleared me an told me to work on my core but avoid downward pressure to avoid any future bladder prolapse..so i was interested in your core reset.thanks!
Awesome questions! Yes the core reset training is all about teaching you how to avoid the downward pressure and how to properly activate your core and pelvic floor to build strength 💜
Thank you for joining! If you found this class helpful share with someone you know could benefit! Keep up the fabulous work!
