I got a MSI bravo 15 c7v with a 4060, Ryzen 7 7735hs, 16 gb of ram and 512gb storage, i got it for 950 euro, idk if that's a good deal but it does sound like music to my ears.
This looks like a different style for you Jarrod. At the end you round up with a very personal opinion. You have been my go-to for a long time because previously I think you have tried to be as objective as you possibly can be and that's the commentary I value. I say this especially as somebody who has for a long time wanted to spend $4000+ on a laptop for graphics and productivity software. Sure, you did say "gaming" in the title, I have to accept that, but for my usage the best choice for me is usually a gaming laptop even though I want it for productivity work because very few office and business PCs have the graphics performance I need, but gaming laptops do. So, the very quick roundup at the end where you say "Oh just buy the Lenovo" doesn't really hit the spot like your content has before. For the $2,500+ category I want to know "what is the most powerful laptop I can buy?" and, sadly for me, all of those fall into the 18" category which you binned along with all of the most powerful laptops you can get. With that said.... any chance of another video for laptops for productivity including video editing and CAD? I guess that isn't where the audience is coming from but there must be space in RUclips for the content hardly anybody else is making? Not all your viewers are gamers with small budgets. Some of us are adults with adult usages and professional adult budgets for professional adult computer use and you attract users like me because you produce some of the most grown-up, impartial, and objective, advice I can find on the internet. Why not do a laptop review to match? :)
Yeah these prices are like $300+ higher in most other countries, although i managed to buy a LOQ Ryzen 5 16gb 4060 for €700 a month ago which was a crazy deal
@@JoePetroni-q4h Yeah and pay almost the price of the laptop just to ship is to my country and about almost the same 20% tax on electronics in Egypt ( idk about other countries) So I would be paying more than just buying a more expensive qnd better laptop from my country and for your information this doesn't apply just for Egypt
Note: If you aren't living in the US except to add around 200$ for most of the laptops in this video and I'm not exaggerating. ( The Lenovo loq with RTX 4050 is literally about 1000$ in Egypt)
I bought a dell g15 with 3050 6gb in tunisia for ~950usd,and that's was the best offer available,a few weeks later i post from someone getting it for 399 in the US , prices are out of control in here , the worst 4060 laptop with 8gb of ram, in 2024, is gonna cost you at least 1000usd.
Prices in the U.S. are a dream. Here in germany, I have to fork over the equivalent of an additional $1500+ to get any of the laptops shown in the $2200-$2500 price range. And even with that amount of money, most rtx 4090 laptops are out of reach.
@@alpzerlakenits not that rich and that shouldn't justify having to pay double like it shows how much money actually just goes to tax for how much it takes to manufacture these pcs
@alpzepta by ... by what metric(or imperial) is the largest economy in the world not a rich country? @ZER0VII Same applies to Germany as the third largest economy? Sure, wealth distribution is an issue, but they're both incredibly rich countries compared to the remaining world
@@ZER0VIIcorrect. The US being the biggest and most attractive market brings them benefits. In simple terms, the more they're able to sell, the more prices can go down (economy of scale). They also have lower taxes (less healthcare/social systems/pension), less regulation (worker protection, environmental protection, product safety) and fewer trade barriers between states, making them much more efficient at trading than the EU within its borders. Also US pricing does usually not include VAT, because each state has their own VAT laws, whereas European pricing does include VAT.
Bought a refurbished Helios 16 with an i9-13900HX, RTX 4080, and 1440p 240Hz IPS for $1245 a few months back. Still feel incredibly lucky to have caught the deal in time.
I just got a Legion Slim 5 with a 4070 but the older CPU for 1099€, a total of 1282€ for the upgrade to 2.5TB of SSD and 32GB of RAM. It feels like a steal in France but here it feels like an ok deal, I'm slighly disappointed too.
Check out gigabyte aero 16 performs actually better and you get full 4070 performance in 1.9kg , downsides are speakers and 60hz display but you get more ppi 4k display
The prices are much higher in Europe, although tax is included here. 500-700€: 1. LOQ with 4050 (preferably with R5-8645HS/R7-8845HS/i5-12450X/i5-13450HX/i7-13650HX, as all these models have 300 nits and 100% sRGB) 2. Acer Nitro 16 (not the 5, not the V15, V16, etc.). 3. ASUS TUF with 4050. 700-900€: I would say the same models, as long as with 4060. Just avoid the deals with R5-7235HS/R7-7435HS processors. 900-1300€: (with 4060 or 4070). 1. MSI Pulse (as long as not with FHD screen because it's crappy [250 nits and 45% NTSC + high lag]) 2. Legion Slim 5 / Pro 5 3. Acer Predator Helios / Helios Neo It's worth noting that only Helios + Legion have the ability to achieve dGPU boost up to 2700Mhz, which gives real higher performance and doesn't stop at ~100W like the other laptops. Catching a Zephyrus 2024 or Legion 7 for less than €1200 in Europe is impossible. I'm completely ignoring the Zephyrus 2024 models with 16GB of RAM soldered in, because it doesn't make sense. You can grab a Zephyrus 2023 with a Nebula IPS display of 500 nits/100% DCI-P3 and 4060/32GB for €1,300 or 4070/32GB for €1,500, but it's not easy - it's been showing up on Spanish Amazon. For 1300-1700€ I would go for higher quality laptops like just Zephyrus, Stealth, Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge/Ultra - these are not strictly gaming laptops. You are paying for lower weight, build quality, simply a premium shelf. Don't be fooled by high discounts in stores. They will be looking for naive people. Check competitive prices on sites like Idealo.
Same here in India except it's even worse. Zephyrus G14 16GB with an Ryzen 9 8945HS and 4060 would cost you Rs. 1.75 Lakh (about 1750 euros). Legion 7 with i9-14900k RTX 4060 16 gigs costs almost the SAME!!
I own a Acer Predator Helios 16, 14th i9, 32gb,4080 bought it for 1,500€ brand new in germany 2 months ago.. it felt like a steal :) i couldnt be happier
Philippines is terrible to buy a laptop, its because there is a few middle companies taking a cut i guess because of the country being impossible to direct ship to
Huge disclaimer about the lenovo loqs IF you get the version with the 13th and 14th gen Intel cpu your motherboard WILL crap out on you and you'll own an expensive brick, stay away from the Intel hx models for loq, i don't want yall to he disappointed
So the HX do share the same instability as their desktop equivalent, Intel did say that their laptop CPUs where not affected by the voltage stability issues but I did suspect that HX might cause issues too cause it's based on the desktop chips architecture, the H models should be safe though. Thankfully I got my Lenovo Pro 5 with a Ryzen chip and it works great
@SomeGoodGames61 your choice but after my experience qith the lenovo legion and 2 major failures inclusive of random usb not working to the dismal cpu yes my i9 14900hx would randomly cut power then proceed to drop to an i5 performance level to say the least with heating issues personally I wouldn't even consider a 4090 laptop let alone a lenovo one, I'd stick with a more reputable brand or even acer I ha the lredatir helios neo 16 now and really it's a much better device display included being much brighter.
@@SomeGoodGames61 I own a 4090 Legion Pro 7I with the 14900HX and have 0 issues for many months. Also Lenovo has one of the best warranty packages that you can extended very easily… For the 5000 series im sticking with the Lenovo Legion Pro series
Nice, I got a 2023 Strix G18 w/4080, i9-13980hx + 240hz 1600p screen for 1700. It was used, but the previous owner treated it well and also gave it 32 GB of memory along with an extra 2 TB 990 pro, genuinely felt like I stole it
I've had the Legion Pro 7i 4080 for over a year now, and it's an absolute beast. The screen is excellent, the keyboard is awesome to type on, and the performance is amazing. It's way stronger than my old desktop with a 8700k and 1080TI, and crushes all my video editing needs!
I have the Legion 7 Pro with the 7945HX and 4080, very happy overall. Feels premium, the 240Hz refresh + 1440p resolution combo is killer without murdering the hardware inside, and it performs extremely well. It's also still reasonably portable, especially what you're carrying with you. Battery life is kind of a nightmare though even when disabling the 4080 completely and going into quiet + power saving modes, but when you have a 16-core, chiplet design, monster of a CPU, that's kind of to be expected.
@@bryanmiller476 Euro has the same exchange value everywhere and what you said means that the euro is more valuable than usd, so you have it backwards. If you can get more dollars with less euros it means that the lesser is more valuable
Great video. But maybe you can add the thermal performance the laptops that you have suggested because we all know this is one of the most important aspects to consider in buying a laptop
@@pirategamer99 terrible screens, awful cooling performance, bad hinge design, creaking chassis, bad trackpad, cheap feeling keyboard, thin speakers, weak chassis, etc. This comes from a 2023 TUF owner. @@pedrwmI've seen a lot of reddit threads about this and I can confirm it's true. My F15 2021 (i7, rtx 3050ti) started having keyboard issues due to bad cooling right after the warranty expired. Even on cooling pad after a longer gaming session, keyboard was hot to touch and keys would just stop working. I can't say it performs bad still to this day but with it being 1500$ when it was released...save your money or get something better!

thanks for the video. i currently own a macbook and want to get a gaming computer, but why are windows machines so ugly and nerdy? is there anything that is minimalistic and low key with great design like a macbook? from the video the g14 is what comes closer but that strip on the back....
Gaming laptops typically need to be bigger than standard laptops. You'd probably need to look at the ASUS Zephrus range or Dell XPS. There is also the ProArt P16 which is similar to an ASUS G16 but designed for creators: ruclips.net/video/iTwDB7UzcsQ/видео.html
Thanks, this was extremely helpful! I've watched this video twice already, at the beginning of my search for a suitable model, and now as a refresher. How would the MSI Alpha 17 slot into all this? There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of information about it yet. I'm considering it vs the Legion Slim 5 because, at 200 € more, I'd get a 17-inch screen (my preferred size) and 32 rather than 16 GB of RAM. However, I have no idea how the display, build quality and overall performance would compare between the two… Also considering the Omen 17, but it seems to have a significantly worse display.
@@-o-5522Wow thats really cheap bro . its superb , never disappoints in gaming , 4K editing and coding at any level . The CPU is a beast and can handle any task smoothly. i've been using it for a month now and temps are really great as they stay around 80 dergree(without cooling pad) for both cpu and gpu even at 1080p max in forza horizon 5 !!
@@-o-5522 i was originally going for the loq but it doesn't give much battery backup as it has only 60wh battery compared to 90wh in tuf which is around 8 hours of battery life. The i7 in the loq heats up a little bit more and thermal throttles after some time. If you can extend your budget a bit then definately go for tuf bro, it wont disappoint you no matter what you use it for
Ur videos really helped me pick the best bang for the buck gaming laptop, I now own a 2023 loq15 with ryzen 5 7640hs rtx 4060 16gb ram 1tb SSD at 1060 usd and for the past 4 months I am loving the hell out of it. No issues whatsoever except the fans tend to get a bit loud. Thanks!
Great selection of laptops, but I feel a bit disappointed by the take on the gp68 series cause its been refreshed with the Vector series, so they have a better chasis and a way better SCREEN. Its gone to 2k with a surprisingly colour accurate ips panel. And its price hasn't gone up significantly from the older model, its an absolute steal for the price and what I chose to upgrade to.
I hope jarrod's tech could someday expand on ultrabooks and normal laptops instead of exclusively featuring gaming devices. This channel and their website's attention to detail is top notch and I wish to see that on slimmer more portable laptops as not everyone is in the market for beefy gaming laptops

“Never” a good value is a stretch. Colleague picked up 3 gaming laptops for her kids with 4050s. Granted they were $150cad each. For anything over $400, yes. 8gb is pathetic.
Should we wait for the new AMD processors to hit the laptop mobile version instead of buying a new Intel core ultra? As you can see the a huge difference between the desktop versions for both and intel as the new AMD 9800X3D
You should wait for reviews at least, although I doubt AMD solved their supply issues. There is a rumoured 8-core X3D Fire Range CPU which should be good value for gaming, but we'll see if it will be more than the usual AMD paper launch. Same goes for mobile dGPUs.
Is there any reason why there's barely any MSI laptop in this list? I've had an MSI laptop for the past 5 years and I've had a great experience with them, but I don't know if this has changed and they're not as good anymore, is Lenovo the best alternative now? The specs on the lenovo 7 look too good to pass on, Idk if it's possible to find those same specs on an MSI laptop at the same price
I really think that we have very bad deals in Europe... For example the best one I have found yet (for me) is Legion Pro 5i 16" with RTX4070, i7-14700HX, 32gb RAM and 1To SSD for 1600 euros... What do you think ?
thanks jarrod. i was stressing out looking through hundreds of pages through different sites. this streamlines everything and gives me so much more information about the specs. live saver dude
For those interested in top of the line, I got a Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 with a i9-14900HX and RTX 4090. If you enable best efficiency on battery you get around 6-8 hours doing word docs and Google. Without a cooling pad and pulling full power, CPU is 88-93C and GPU is 60-65C. I recommend this model over the 9i because the 9i has an inverted motherboard. This means adding a cooling pad underneath the laptop isn’t as efficient. I got a Flydigi BS1 and with full power (30watts CPU and 165 watts GPU overclocked) CPU is 59C and GPU is 55C.
why isn't the msi gf63 thin on the table? i didn't hear much reason. i got that 2 years ago, upgraded ram, got the llano 600 cooling fan, overclocked a bit, and she runs great hooked up to the living room tv for console like gaming with the family. is there something about this laptop that is less than preferred? did i make an oopsies? 🤣🤣
Went for a €2,000 laptop with long warranty and buyback option. I9+rtx4080+32gb ram option as well which I'm so hyped about. I'm upgrading for the 1st time since 2018, thanks for the content helped me get a grasp of the latest evolutions in the laptop markets.
Jarrod, how does the 2024 version of Legion Slim 5 (16AHP9) with the 4070 and 8845HS stacks up in terms of value and performance against the others here? I've been eyeing it for a while.
Hey jarrod, ik you mentioned the victus at $430 but with its really bad wifi card is it worth it? To me that defeats its portability but i want to know what you think.
i found an asus tuf f16 with the 4060, 2.5k screen and i7 13605hx at 1000€, would you recommend buying it? it seems to me the best option at that price
that walmart deal for an HP victus with a 4050 for 500 is kinda nuts. I grabbed the 4070 victus a few weeks ago and both are crazy for the money. Upgraded the ram and replaced the SSD with one I already had, and it's not the same deal. But it's still crazy to have this performance under 1k.
Another perks of Lenovo and HP laptops is that their 1st party GaN charger is pretty cheap. Like Legion 140W GaN cost less than $50 and 170W costs around $80 or so, although 170W comes with C to Lenovo rectangular. Same as HP with Omen Charger 150W and 200W, costing roughly the same. For comparison, Dell 230W GaN charger costs like $150 MSRP with non removable cable. I don't see one from Acer (even Predator) or Asus (there's ROG 140W charger but that's for the phone. Their laptops still supported at maximum 100W PD standard). You might ask "why do you need to have GaN charger for gaming laptops?". If you have to travel or have to use gaming laptops for works (in engineering and architecture), you'll realise after the first or second time to carry around that the most burden thing about it is not the laptop itself but the power brick. Most laptops even the budget one is around 1.8 - 2.5kg but the standard power brick is another kg while these GaN charger weight less than your phone. So if you have to travel or carry these beasts around a lot, spend some for GaN charger and your back will thank you for that. Ps. I'm not saying that there are no 3rd party charger out there like SlimQ 330W. I just mentioned one with 1st party accesory.
Which is the better laptop (if both specs are same) Asus Rog strix g16 or Lenovo Legion 5i I need better performance in gaming, long battery life for normal use and long lasting If u have any other better laptops ,suggest me
On microcenter, there is currently an RTX 4060 Acer Nitro V that i bought for $749. the price dropped to $728 There is also a laptop with a i7 13500HX and 4060 for $769 Edit: Nvm , i checked microcenter and it sold out lol, good thing i got my laptop early
@JarrodsTech I really enjoyed your video as I’m currently in the market for a gaming laptop and looking for the best bang for my buck. I’m torn between an RTX 4060 and 4070, and with the varying price ranges (especially with deals), decision paralysis is real! Your breakdown has been super helpful. I’m aiming for mid-range performance with some nice bells and whistles if possible, but I’m willing to compromise for a great deal. What do you think about this option: Alienware m16 QHD+ 165Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, RTX 4070, 1TB SSD, Windows 11 Pro (Open-Box Good) for $687 before tax? Is it worth the nearly 7 lbs. weight, or should I consider something with a better screen and more portability, like Lenovo's 4070 models that typically go for $1,200-$1,400 on sale? Note: My primary use is gaming at home, switching between 2-3 rooms.
XMG/Eluktronics? As a former Razer Blade owner, I am a huge fan of the products from Eluktronics. Their water cooled performance and sleek design punches way above their weight class.
I am want buy the best laptop gaming in EUA ? whats the best laptop? Performances in games, 18'',OLED, etc. Can i buy Asus Rog Strix Scar 18'' ? It's a good laptop gamer? Have better options than Scar 18?
I am only planning to play wow classic and maybe retail, but nothing else. What would be a good laptop for that without spending too much without its needed ? Good screen and performance is of course needed but classic wow is old as hell
Really good video and got a sub from me. I was between Lenovo 7i vs Asus until the intel problem and ausus warranty bs. Don't know if I should just skip this generation or grab the Lenovo when the white version goes on sale. Edit: Well I can get the 7i glacier for $1600 or 1520 if I don't keep getting an error trying to add military discount. For i9 and 32gb of ram, is that a good deal? Was the $1800 for the pro on lenovo website or 3rd party?
Is the battery length better on the legions with a 4060 vs the lower priced 4070's? The asus g14 has 8 hours battery life, double the legion. Is there a 4070 laptop that will get 8 hours batter life? So long as it isnt running games? I need it for work and music production.
What about a light laptop with good build quality for mostly browsing + (youtube+Netflix) + light gaming. Full HD is enough for me and 14" or 15" size is fine. I have a gaming pc so this would be for travel so I can pick and choose lighter games to play on it so no external GPU needed. Are there newer generation CPU laptops of that type? Or do I need to wait a year or so. I believe 8 or fewer cores will do.
Currently rocking a Alienware M18 R1 Ryzen/Radeon on a deployment. It's still portable for a 18" laptop. It fit just fine on a C130 w/ me as my carry on.
G16 is so good at the top end. I have one and it’s so light and powerful. For people who want more portability and still an insane amount of power, the asus zephyrus g16 is absolutely the way to go. It’s so tiny compared to other similar laptops, and it looks so clean. The 240hz oled is absolutely beautiful, and the full machined aluminum makes it feel sturdy. The speakers are the best I’ve seen in a laptop, it has amazing battery life when the dgpu is disabled (really easy with ghelper (I’d recommend uninstalling armory crate)), has a thunderbolt 4 port, fast charge on all usb ports, WiFi 6 capabilities, and great thermals with the vapor chamber models. Not to mention the price is way better than the vast majority of high end laptops, and definitely the best value. I did like 30 hours of research before buying mine, and I couldn’t be happier with it
using Legion slim 5 14" for almost a year now. good build/materials, good thermals and the screen is awesome. no issues yet(aside the slightly higher price and "meh" touchpad)
I'm trying to decide between the Lenovo Loq 15 with rtx 4060 and the Asus Tuf A16 with rx 7700s, they're both 700$ right now and seem pretty similar. which would you recommend?
I used to be in the mindset that the price to performance was the end all be all. But from experience, that extra bit of money for a more premium build quality is faaaaar more important. Getting a little more fps, but having a laptop that will wear out far quicker? I’d rather not have to get another laptop anytime soon. ‘That’ is why build quality is so important
@@sameermysterio1092 So i need mobility and recently I bought Acer nitro 16 with rtx4070, i mean that's not that bad, it delivers impressive performance in full hd and even in quad hd, but it's still 4060ti with 8GB( not actual 4070 like Nvidia wanted us to think, the real 4070 delivers up to 40% more fps). If you are okay with 4060ti then no problem, if you need real 4070 performance just look for laptops with rtx4080, if mobility isn't so important better build PC for the same price and you will get an actual 4070 performance and good upgradability in the future. so that was my opinion. i would rather build a PC of course, but at the moment I don't have enough free space and plenty of other reasons...
I really could use some help. I need to buy something soon but been unable to decide on anything. The laptops im looking even at in the 1800-2000 range are showing mostly 4060's and 13th gen processors. There are no real good deals on higher end except the 1070 Zephorus which I'm not getting.Looking for mostly a creator laptop, and dont want to get a crappy screen, and if investing that much I want it to be worth it. I'm close to just sticking to my terd i-3 HP and 3rd gen i7 1070ti tower. and not spending money i dont have lol the only thing close to what i want and can find in stock for a deal is a 4060 13th gen Proart studiobook at 1849 and that's already way over budget and the specs dont match the cost and the build doesn't look that great either. the dial looks flimsy and like it would break i like the idea though I'm sure it would work with music making tools well, but coming from pro audio stuff the build quality looks pretty unacceptable at that price range. I know all of that would be a huge jump up from my old systems but they have served me pretty good the last 10 years i still really dont know enough about computers to really know what i really nee. I dont game a bunch but i do play MSFS 2020 but mostly old stuff like Open RCT2, Thug Pro and PS2, and Minecraft. I do music production and snowboard/skateboard video editing. My current setup can only play back 1080, so i have to make roxys for all my footage and takes forever.
Hi Jarrod, I bought an HP Omen 16 eight months ago, and this week I wanted to overclock my CPU since it has the i7-14700HX. However, I discovered that both overclocking lock and CFG lock are enabled in the BIOS, but the options to change them are not visible. I backed up my BIOS and tried to modify these settings using a tool called RU.efi. I found the correct values to change, but when I attempted to save them, I received an error: "0x….08," which prevents me from writing to the BIOS with this tool. I also tried downgrading the BIOS, but the WIN + B method doesn't work. I’ve contacted HP support multiple times, but they keep redirecting me, and I haven’t been able to find a solution. This is stopping me from overclocking my CPU. Do you know of any solutions?
I'd say just get a lenovo laptop. I had a first-generation post ibm buyout thinkpad and replaced it with a gen 6 legion 7 a few years ago. Only issue I have with the new one is that the 3080 doubles as a space heater, but I bet it will last me another 10-15 years.
Thank you for the legion 7i 2023 reviews. Grabbed a 4080 32GB for 1536$ (1670$ final) back in February, was listed in "Fair" condition, laptop was without DMG or scratches. The original boxed it came in looked like a floor mat....
Where are you seeing these prices? I can't find almost any of these at these prices. The TUF a16 for example I can't find for less than $800. I appreciate your effort though :)
Hey Jarrod, I live in India and have a budget equivalent of 1200 USD to buy a laptop, but the issue is, most of the laptops that are available here at that price point are all 13th a 14th gen Intel CPUs with a few examples of ryzen too. I was considering a few laptops, but since most of them are Intel 13th and 14th gen, I'm a little scared because of the whole power issue with the MB. Is that issue fixed? Is it safe getting those? Or should I just hold off for now? It would be great to get your inputs on this.

Get a VPN like you are living in the US and have it shipped to you….
Prices without TAX.. Which is added at the counter in shop.
@@JoePetroni-q4h
Yeah and pay almost the price of the laptop just to ship is to my country and about almost the same 20% tax on electronics in Egypt ( idk about other countries)
So I would be paying more than just buying a more expensive qnd better laptop from my country and for your information this doesn't apply just for Egypt
In my third class country (india) it costs 3000 dollars
Note:
If you aren't living in the US except to add around 200$ for most of the laptops in this video and I'm not exaggerating.
( The Lenovo loq with RTX 4050 is literally about 1000$ in Egypt)
in morocco it's 1200 - 1300 dollars
you should always try buy tech from outside of egypt if you can, with that 50k egp you can get a 4060 laptop.
my brother in christ, each laptop he mentions is twice the price in brazil, stop complaining
Same here in Indonesia, I'm jealous of US crazy discounted prices 😢
Prices in the U.S. are a dream. Here in germany, I have to fork over the equivalent of an additional $1500+ to get any of the laptops shown in the $2200-$2500 price range. And even with that amount of money, most rtx 4090 laptops are out of reach.
Germany is a rich country, US not so much even the conditions of the city and street give it away
@@alpzerlakenits not that rich and that shouldn't justify having to pay double like it shows how much money actually just goes to tax for how much it takes to manufacture these pcs

@ZER0VII Same applies to Germany as the third largest economy?
Sure, wealth distribution is an issue, but they're both incredibly rich countries compared to the remaining world
@@SlightlySaici bro usa has the largest economy and by a huge margin so why aren't their stuff the most expensive?
@@ZER0VIIcorrect. The US being the biggest and most attractive market brings them benefits.
In simple terms, the more they're able to sell, the more prices can go down (economy of scale).
They also have lower taxes (less healthcare/social systems/pension), less regulation (worker protection, environmental protection, product safety) and fewer trade barriers between states, making them much more efficient at trading than the EU within its borders.
Also US pricing does usually not include VAT, because each state has their own VAT laws, whereas European pricing does include VAT.

A similarly spec'd G16 costs around 2050 euros in Germany :D
Damn... thats a huge difference
Hell yeah, even 2400 for 4070...
I just got a Legion Slim 5 with a 4070 but the older CPU for 1099€, a total of 1282€ for the upgrade to 2.5TB of SSD and 32GB of RAM. It feels like a steal in France but here it feels like an ok deal, I'm slighly disappointed too.
prices in post soviet shtholes even worse 😭
Check out gigabyte aero 16 performs actually better and you get full 4070 performance in 1.9kg , downsides are speakers and 60hz display but you get more ppi 4k display
You could try ordering overseas via sites that supports shipping
The prices are much higher in Europe, although tax is included here.
500-700€:
1. LOQ with 4050 (preferably with R5-8645HS/R7-8845HS/i5-12450X/i5-13450HX/i7-13650HX, as all these models have 300 nits and 100% sRGB)
1. MSI Pulse (as long as not with FHD screen because it's crappy [250 nits and 45% NTSC + high lag])
2. Legion Slim 5 / Pro 5
3. Acer Predator Helios / Helios Neo
It's worth noting that only Helios + Legion have the ability to achieve dGPU boost up to 2700Mhz, which gives real higher performance and doesn't stop at ~100W like the other laptops.
Legion 7 with i9-14900k RTX 4060 16 gigs costs almost the SAME!!
this, but white zephyrus w/ 4050 aint a thing here 💀
How do you find online deals in another EU country while living in Germany without having to pay a fortune in extra shipping/import fees though?

Is the ram upgradable from ddr4 to ddr5 on the victus, bought it last week and wanna know if is possible.

Their water
cooled performance and sleek design punches way above their weight class.
I am want buy the best laptop gaming in EUA ? whats the best laptop? Performances in games, 18'',OLED, etc.
Can i buy Asus Rog Strix Scar 18'' ? It's a good laptop gamer? Have better options than Scar 18?
Looking for 1tb , 32ram, 4060 or 4070. Its really hard to find 32 ram. Probably have to buy ram separately.
I am only planning to play wow classic and maybe retail, but nothing else. What would be a good laptop for that without spending too much without its needed ? Good screen and performance is of course needed but classic wow is old as hell
This video is just what i need! Thanks!
What do you think about the Asus Scar G16 2024 4080? (non-mini LED)
I did like 30 hours of research before buying mine, and I couldn’t be happier with it
How did you find victus for 500 I bought one rigth befor school and payed 1000 euro, how could you get such a deal
Thanks for the advice Great video
Super. Thanks for the video and efforts you applied comparing prices and laptops
using Legion slim 5 14" for almost a year now. good build/materials, good thermals and the screen is awesome. no issues yet(aside the slightly higher price and "meh" touchpad)
Lenovo loq i512450Hx and 4050 16gb ram 8x2 and 1tb ssd, 799€. Worth it?
how about lenovo loq 16 searching for 16:10 aspect ratio laptop under 900$
I'm trying to decide between the Lenovo Loq 15 with rtx 4060 and the Asus Tuf A16 with rx 7700s, they're both 700$ right now and seem pretty similar. which would you recommend?
I used to be in the mindset that the price to performance was the end all be all.
But from experience, that extra bit of money for a more premium build quality is faaaaar more important.
Getting a little more fps, but having a laptop that will wear out far quicker? I’d rather not have to get another laptop anytime soon. ‘That’ is why build quality is so important
i got a good monitor, so a low end 4070 laptop is a no brainer right?? Opinions please
4070 laptop is renamed 4060ti desktop be advised
@@avancult i dont understand
@@sameermysterio1092 Nvidia took rtx4060ti desktop and put it in laptop and named it rtx4070 laptop, both have identical specs
@@avancult okay so its good right? compared to a relatively high end 4060 laptop
Hi Jarrod,
I bought an HP Omen 16 eight months ago, and this week I wanted to overclock my CPU since it has the i7-14700HX.
Got the HP Victus a year ago from Costco, it has been a solid buy, would recommend. Also like it wasnt all about the blinky glowy lights.
Was able to find 2022 model Asus TUF with RTX 3070ti and R7 6800h for 900 USD. Is it a good deal?
Thank you for the legion 7i 2023 reviews. Grabbed a 4080 32GB for 1536$ (1670$ final) back in February, was listed in "Fair" condition, laptop was without DMG or scratches. The original boxed it came in looked like a floor mat....
Interesting video. You make a great and helpful job.
The perfect video at the right time for me .Thanks .
