- Drunk Uncle aka Bobby Moynihan of SNL fame turns out to be a big fan of the show, after this revelation comes to light audio is played of the show trashing the Drunk Uncle bit during the Sandy Relief concert. Some of the lines are doubly hilarious knowing what we know now. He's given a chance to redeem himself... And yeah

Ope had a bunch of very funny moments in this clip. His trashing of Drunk Uncle was spot on and actually very hilarious. 21:40 Ope makes Ant & Jimmy laugh hysterically. Very very funny. Rewound it several times to hear Ope's zingers followed by Jimmy and Ant cracking up. Glad to see Ope get his moment in the sun.

Growing up my best friend's whole family loved SNL and I aways felt like I just wasn't smart enough to get it.
Now i realize there was nothing to get.

SNL peaked with Farley/Spade/Sandler. Shit went downhill when Ferrel blew up (as funny as he was). When they brought Fallon to the forefront it became unwatchable. When Fey/Dratch blew up it was so -painfully- enragingly unfunny sittin through 10 minutes made me homocidal.
After that it is so bad it's perplexing. Not a joke to be heard, yet they still flash the laugh sign to make the audience laugh.
SNL needed to end when Farley left.
Sandler, Spade and Farley are all unfunny clowns.

Yeah that's right. It's O&A's fault that the thousands of people at MSG didn't find it funny either. Apparently it's only a very small elite group that can understand irony and satire. That bit got exactly what it deserved. Absolutely nothing.

I agree with you. Bobby is a heckuva nice guy, but I’m not a fan of his attempts at humor, with the exception of his impression of Guy Fieri. That was a decent impression of a dude who was screaming to be parodied.
