Perfect timing to hear this one....
Sadly, yes. E.E.F.
Another superbly read offering Mr. French. Been going back over your, 'Who goes there?', readings, spine-chilling stuff, and the wind sounds are a deliciously eerie compliment.
Love this one!
excellent reading and story. I listen to audio productions quite often and I find your voice really sets atmosphere, you remind me of the great Orson Welles during his radio days. I live in the UK and grew up on BBC radio 4 plays and readings which are of high standard . Thanks for such great quality and I look forward to future readings.
That's quite a compliment. Thanks, Paul.
Excellent, as usual.
Please read ‘Vintage Season’ by CL Moore, if you will.
Cracking stuff - I had wondered when we might hear from you again.
Hi Eamon.....you're an early viewer to this week's Fiction Fantastique.....I try to add a jolt of audio weekly. E.
+edward french nope - I'm just a goon who somehow managed to turn off push notifications. There's a ton of new stuff to listen to that I was totally unaware of. Frabjous day!
Brilliant
AGREED. A great story. Possibly even prescient .
I like this one very much. Apart from anything else, I have long held the view that many of this world's problems are down to ... too many damned people!
Thanks for the upload.
That's the problem you identify in the story? Not the fact that governments are killing people to depopulate the earth? You can start with yourself if you think the earth has too many people.
@@zztopz7090 You would have to be a complete idiot not to realise that there are far too many of us in this world.
The answer is population control, and that's not going to happen, because human beings, taken as a whole, are basically selfish and driven by hormones - especially the men. Ultimately, we are doomed, if not by famine, then war, or disease or some other natural or man-made disaster, and if you can't see that, then I think you have your head in the sand.
very awesome audio read!!! very thrilling! may I ask where you got the ambient effects from?
Thanks for listening, BlackceardBravis. A lot of the ambient sound effects that accompany the readings are discretely ripped from movies and TV shows and I tweak them with the Audacity and DAK sound platforms. I've collected many of them over the years from the sound recordists I've worked with on movie and TV productions as well. Cheers. E.E.F.
This is labeled wrong. It should be non fiction.
I have to agree. A few people have pointed that out, Katia. Thanks for listening. E.E.F.
