Mr Gordon you have one of the best channels on this platform. After hearing you read stories for years now I believe you could read the phonebook and make it ominous.
Five stories of terrifying houses....splendid! Just digging in! These are great. Thanks for putting this all together! They all fit so well together. I never heard the first two before, but have listened to your individual recordings of the last three. I relished the chance to listen to them again. I always get a kick out of your narrations when the people yell and have a fit. I spilled some bourbon laughing at one of the tirades!
Gosh, I think I already said a pithy little pun about the New Year’s coming sun; & the lengthened night & how the coming sun will make it right…oh, of course, how I wish Happy Holiday, Season’s Greetings to you for the light & write that you bring it’s true…I’ll even give a little bit of “cheesy” for you two❣️🎊🎄
Having ADHD makes reading quite a hassle, so I very much appreciate your readings. Especially their quality, thank you for your continued work, Mr.Gordon. I hope you have a pleasant new year, and look forward to hearing your delightful tone more in the coming year.
Same here, having ADHD I find myself in the story as it is read. If I try reading a novel, I've lost interest within the first few chapters. I haven't been able to read a novel since my early 20's.
@@brianclayton3898 Same! Funny how when I was a kid, I could sit glued to a book with no issue. Nowadays it’s like pulling teeth unless it’s just exceptional-or narrated, particularly by Mr. Gordon!
I was recently dozing off listening to an audiobook of the Sherlock Holmes story The Man with the Twisted Lip when the line "a sudden ejaculation caused me to wake up" actually caused me to wake up. As you do.
Really liked the 2nd story - good vintage horror. The self narration at the climax of the 3rd story totally spoiled it. First story had an interesting idea, but it was not explored far enough, or explained enough.
Nice, just one small but for a german listener a bit irritating thing: The name 'Hans' is pronounced like the English word 'nuns' but with a H' in the beginning. 😉
The crawling horror lol you should warn people about those stories involving dogs that can be upsetting to some to say the least otherwise I love you stuff 👍👍
Thanks always, Ian 👻
I am about to go on a 13-day staycation where I plan to listen to all my favorite Horrorbabble stories on repeat. Merry Christmas, friends.
Sounds like a great time, have a good one ✨✨
Nice. Happy Holidays! 🎄🎉
Did your job let you have vacation time?
@@patrickmcdade7353 barely!! I managed to escape. Haha

I don’t think my girlfriend and I can sleep at night without Horrorbabble.
At first is spooky. Then it’s soothing. Then it’s an addicting
Thanks for listening, James!
I love listening to spooky stuff like this around Christmas, thank you!
Merry Christmas to everyone at Horrorbabble!
When I opened thisvideo page, I got an ad for mortuary stretchers! Ian, you have a wicked sense of humor!
I love your channel!! Atmospheric, fantastic narration.
That roller skate wheel part in story 2 really spooked me more than it should.
Celebrating the longest evening of the year- Warm wishes on this Winter’s Solstice🌲🌚✨.

I underestimated "Ghost of a hand".. made the mistake of thinking the hand was "(h) armless".... oh dear, 😞 sorry ..
I recently read, "The Outsider" which "The Crawling Horror" reminds me of yet I much prefer the latter!
Outstanding thanks Ian happy Christmas to you and everyone in this amazing lobby 😎🎄🎁👍
It's always marvelous to spend time here. Thank y'all, and Happy Merry!
The Last one was extra creepy for me. Bertha Brandt was my grandmother. My grandfather was Hans.
The only right way to practice my english listening comprehension ^^

The best companion on a long flight and for holidays, thanks, and Merry Christmas🎄
There it is. AI art.
The dreadful horrors that dwell in reality.
Merry Chrimboob you olde antiquated delver of hidden tomes, you!
Great visit back to more innocent times. 😊
Gosh I don't think I've ever heard "ejaculation of terror" in a sentence.
I was recently dozing off listening to an audiobook of the Sherlock Holmes story The Man with the Twisted Lip when the line "a sudden ejaculation caused me to wake up" actually caused me to wake up. As you do.
I love older speech. I wish people still used words as they were meant to be used.

Merry Ghoul-mas everyone!!! 😃
Can't go wrong with some spooky fixer-uppers. 👌

Happy New Year, listeners.
I wish you all an excellent 2023 😊
...JoE...
You have an amazing voice for horror stories.
I loath his pretense but admire his resilience.
The Curse of the House brought to mind the Russians building down under their houses in London.
Interesting...
Brilliant ♥️💯🌹
Does it include vampires? 😍

Don't be silly. He doesn't need a warning for fictional dogs
@@sterlingcampbell2116 that's a fair point lol 👍
What about the people who die in these stories. Warning about them?
The warning is implied in the genre my dear. 😉
@@Craig_Tucker48 I'm not your dear I don't care about the people thats my opinion 🤔
Grow up.
First here
The narrators voice has a rather harsh tone, so was a little difficult to listen too unfortunately?
Such great fiction ruined by that contrived voice affect by the narrator. Painful
Thanks!
Thank you!
