    Can you share a website to see bunch on digital portfolios. I’ve been told by college to have a website (digital folio) for internship instead of a pdf or spreadsheet. It would be of a great help thanks in advance ❤️

      A website can be great if you can afford it but when you're just starting out I don't believe it's all that necessary. I had a website as well as a PDF portfolio and found the PDF to be more useful when applying for jobs. If you plan to go out on your own a website can be beneficial, especially for a better layout and added information. But for me it was a waste of money. To get more inspo or purchase portfolios I love looking at Etsy. I hope this helps, good luck! ❤

    Amazing work!! What programs did you use for the interior renders? Or sections ☺️

    • @tashsikkes
      @tashsikkes  11 месяцев назад

      It was mostly with sketch up to create the renders and then made some tweaks in photoshop 😁

    I just finished ishef my course, and I'm in the process of putting my portfolio together. Thank you. This was very helpful.❤
    What do you think is an appropriate number of pages to put per project. I'm worried I'm gonna have too much or too little. Like I'm gonna show too much or consolidate my projects too much?

    • @tashsikkes
      @tashsikkes  10 месяцев назад +1

      I totally get that! I was always told by my teachers it should be between 3-5 pages long per project with a max of 5 projects, it shouldn't be the entire project but either the best bits or showing your processes, especially when just starting out. Good luck with it and Im glad I could help 🙂

    What do you think of putting a concept statements in each project?

    • @tashsikkes
      @tashsikkes  10 месяцев назад +1

      It's certainly not a super common thing to add but I think it can be really useful when there's a unique concept or you're wanting to explain a project in greater detail. I wouldn't personally do it for every project but if there's 1 or 2 that could really use the extra background I'd certainly consider it. Amazing question, good luck! 👏

    Hello, Which software did you use to compile your entire portfolio?

    • @tashsikkes
      @tashsikkes  Месяц назад

      I use Adobe InDesign but I know others have used things like Canva. All depends on your skill level, hope that helps!
