Winter Beanie Crochet Pattern

The Winter Beanie Crochet Pattern is a fairly easy crochet beanie to work featuring beautiful textured stitches. The crochet hat is worked in my favourite way - from the bottom up! You will work the brim of the hat is rows using slip stitches and then the rest of the beanie is worked in rounds.

Skill Level: Easy
Gauge: 16 sts x 16 rows of hdc in 3rd loop = 4 inches
Finished Size: 9 x 9 inches laid flat; 20-22 inch circumference
Yarn: Heartland by Lion Brand Yarn (100% acrylic; 5 oz/142g; 251 yds/230 m); 1 ball Acadia
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm) Hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain
correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn Needle.

the only thing i don't like is the turning for each row and you didn't really show clearly what stitch to go into after turning. Do you go into the same stitch where you joined and chained?

6:50 Thank you so much for this flip. I just finished joining my brim following this particular written pattern but the seam looked really obvious. I was confused whether it would've been the right side if I had kept working in rounds with that seam facing me.

Don't over think it (trust me, I've been where you are) as long as you have 72 you'll be fine. I had three together then skipped every other "stich" for a couple.

Do you always work the first stitch in the same stitch as joining or is it different for different type of rows? Is it only in the rows that are worked in the third loop? 🙄

Im having a hard time accessing your crochet and many others I don’t know what has happened to RUclips I know that’s not your fault
It is so frustrating for an old lady that has nothing else to do but to enjoy crochet and RUclips has to make it so difficult now there’s no way to contact them either
