Ywach with Yama's Bankai? that's the end of everything!
@@ak47dagunsmoke15 hahaha big facts
@@eestiny9734 man how you beat him lol
we need a discord, we need to talk about bleach.... i wanna throw a fucking chair in a window and talk about it.. you midwest dads know about it.. lol... jk
For those who don't know, apparently the studio and kubo himself were hyping up episode 6, for MONTHS, saying that it's like a special gift for bleach fans and they couldn't wait for them to witness it and now here we are, what an EPIC BATTLE😭
A Fire battle no pun intended
Haha I love that! They were proud of their work and it fucking shows!!!
Yeah I think it is on par with Ichigo vs Aizen. It is that good. Insane what they pulled in only 6 episodes so far.
lol
I honestly thought some of the animation looked a little off. I was expecting more tbh.. slightly let down but oh well.
from reading the manga to watching this episode OMG......mind blowing how the animation team put this episode together! did not disappointed
Fancy seeing you here
@@magrega ayeee 😂😂 what the hell! What’s up bro
@@Lelouchedits this is the same animation as the spongebob anime
@@mastixencounter I know you lying 😂😂
@@Lelouchedits Im not. If you compared them they look similar
This episode was beyond amazing all around, but I really want to give a special shoutout to whomever worked on the sound design. The sound choices, elevated the episode to even greater heights for me.
Yo I agree 10000 percent! The sound was so strong
Wanna know what song is that played when Yama takes down 3 sternritters. That violin song.
Peak fiction!! And we're only halfway through the first cour!! 🔥🔥
PEEAAAAKKKK!!
Yhwach for sure didn't want to fight Yamamoto in his Bankai so he had him tire himself & then stole his Bankai. So yeah, currently from everything we know, no one is on Yamamoto's level. Only Aizen & Yhwach are close to him. Ichigo lost his OP Dangai/Final Getsuga Tensho form so he for sure isn't on that level anymore. Also, someone said that real Yhwach wouldn't cry, that's not true. Royd copies the personality of the person too, not just the physique. So he copied Yhwach's personality. (That was stated in the manga, but cut in the anime)
Except the monk and prob the creator of the sword"aka the king of blades.
@@wolfkingomega1405 Realistically, only the Monk and Aizen would have a chance. New Hell arc Ichigo might even lose. The creator is more of a smith than a fighter, I think.
@@D4PPZ456 Yeah, nah g. Ichigo, Aizen, and Yhwach EOS are 100% stronger than Yamamoto in bankai with ichibei being debatable. It’s an undeniable truth once you realize what they were up against.
@@D4PPZ456hell arc ichigo ? wtf are u on. Dangai ichigo, butterfly/monster aizen, EOS Ichigo,Aizen are without a doubt stronger than bankai yama.
@@D4PPZ456 I would almost agree except the king of blades did show up and show off with a dumby blade. In showed off how he got this name. He had the highest display of sword feats in the series and the fastest speed feat. Taking out 4 semi immortals before there immortality could even register. Also the creator never used his shika not bankai out of all the zero squad members. We have never seen him go full power. With is many zankpato. He is the only one of the zero squad that didn't show his power. Just fought with a dumby sword. Just for testing
A hint that everyone forgets in this ep is that The fake yhwach showed emotions when Yamamoto showed him his fallen comrades. The real Yhwach won't ever do that since he see's his comrades as disposable objects.
I mean considering that he shot this man with no question or remorse says it all lol
That's false considering Royd copies the person's personality. he's willingly to sacrifice without hesitation, never stated he felt nothing
@@heavenlykarisma It's really a shame that they cut out the backstory that made Royd make sense.
@@D4PPZ456 they might add it some other time, but aizen’s scene was a good replacement imo
@@heavenlykarisma It isn't false. Royd copied the personality of 1000 years prior Yhwach to fool Yamamoto better. Notice how he calls Yamamoto "Shigekuni" while the real Yhwach calls him "Genryusai?"
Ngl, this has to be the best animation studio pierrot has ever produced since the likes of naruto vs sasuke and naruto and sasuke vs momoshiki, the animation in this bleach episode was crazy, and its only episode 6.
They were trying to prove something it seems!! And I’m for it!
I would say this and the episode of boruto : Kawaki vs Garo were the best imo.
were those the only specific episodes you've seen from the studio
Yeh bro studio pierrot has officially once more put themselves up there to the top alongside mappa and ufotable, this animation was god tier
Bruh so insane!!
this was stunning!!!
don't forget kyoto animation studio and studio ghibli!
@@yeetus8870 Yeah na still got nothing on mappa or ufotable.
@@og_killa2482 okay, thanks for telling me that you have no idea what you're talking about.
Many paid attention to the animation in this episode, but the best part for me was the character breakdown of Yama and how well Ywach uses mental tactics to win instead of sheer power. Ywach had Yama's squad and lieutenant killed first, this ultimately turned Yama into a rage monster fighting for revenge
- Here Yama is being completely spiteful, so instead of treating Ywach like a true threat and just erasing him, he tries to belittle, demean and torture him. In doing so, Yama isn't fighting like an experienced Commander which leads to him making the mistake of overusing his energy, which is why it was weak enough for Ywach to steal.
(Repost)
that's not the reason his bankai was stolen even if it was real yhwach he was fighting from the beginning he could stole it as to why ichigo bankai cant be stolen it would be shown later and real yhwach is much more stronger than royd just his fight with ichibei shows it he could keep with bankai yama till a certain point as for defeating him i don't know dont forget that yhwach has zankt altar which can steal powers for people like he did with ichibei he could also do it with yama dont know if it would work
@@fangyuan5964 Ywach won by cheating. He had to steal his bankai because he knew he stood no chance of being victorious fighting against Yamamoto going all out.
@@RiseAwakenedOne don't be delusional if a stern ritter could go toe to toe with yamamoto's full power and bankai, what makes you think ywatch couldn't? also is logical, if ywatch is strong enough to stole his bankai then he is strong enough to defeat it, use your brain.
@@ezelegui7901 Because 1. Loyd didn't go toe to toe with Yamamoto. Yamamoto was having no trouble slapping him around the entire fight. He was intentionally dragging the fight so that "Yhwach" would suffer more.
And 2. it stands to reason that Loyd wasn't a "normal sternritter." Don't forget that Yhwach chooses how he distributes his power. He likely gave Loyd more power in his Blut to make sure he could use up as much time with Yamamoto.
@@ezelegui7901 You're seriously trolling 🤣🤣🤣
While full metal alchemist brotherhood and hunter x hunter(2011), are considered to be the best remakes in anime history, bleach TYBW ARC has to be the greatest COMBACK in anime history😍.
Bruh the comeback is absolutely incredible
Hey man as a manga reader, this episode surpassed the chapters on so many levels, not only was the fight GOATED, but that aizen scene was added in the anime to make the yhwach plot twist make more sense, it was rushed in the manga and out of place😂
I’m so glad that manga readers got new content and that your love for the panels were represented like this!! So dope
Cap
@@inevitable8562 your pfp says it all narutard
what due mean rushed in the manga, the manga actually has stuff from this fight that the anime cut out. So if you say the manga rushed it, then your saying the anime rushed it as well
@@mastixencounter the anime staff and Kubo added the scenes that they find more sense full and reasonable but in manga he had to rush cuz less time but now they have time so they can add or cut acc to their perspective and make a great to a perfect episode
As a manga reader I wanted to see Yamamotos bankai and they exceeded my expectations bruh!!!!
Man that’s so dope you got to experience an elevated version
I’ve read the manga twice and this blew my expectations out of the water. The animation and art was everything this series deserved. Whether or not YB could beat old man Yama straight up at this point is a tough one. I don’t think he could have, and that’s why he needed this plan.
He probably could have, if he "opened his eyes", but that would be revealing an advantage early, with guys like Mayuri and Urahara it would be a way more of a risk. He kept that for those who could actually ignore his bankai amulets.
@@nikkan3810 that's a smart way to put it actually, yeah. Opening it too early could be bad because it could be exploited by Mayuri and Urahara.
@@avatarwan3021 Also Ryuken could have brought in his silver arrow earlier.
I am not even mad that it took YEARS for Bleach to come back. What we got is insane. This is way better than I thought it would be.
Poor Yamamoto.. the look in his eyes. He gave up the moment he stole his Bankai.
He knew that if he kept fighting sooner or later Juha was going to use Yamamoto fallen comrades which is something he would not be able to take.
My man had one arm, no bankai. He knew how powerful Yhwach is. If he would've had Inoue reject what happened to his arm, he could've hung in a little longer with physical strength and fighting knowledge.
@@CasperAJ I really hope we get that backstory from Yhwach on why Yama wasn't a special threat, everything ends up making more sense.
@@D4PPZ456 He mentioned it in the Manga, he was ruthless in the past, somewhat similar to Yhwach. He would use any means necessary to kill or win, even use his own subordinates. Plus, he didn't use Inoue to heal his arm, he basically handicapped himself. Remember how he fought against Wonderweiss without his Zanpakuto? Dual bone was one of his most powerful moves, shattered WW and killed him.
@@CasperAJ yah, he didnt list him as war threat. He was predictable and stubborn although the strongest.
Bro I read the manga and was still left speechless by this amazing episode! Yamamoto is that guy!
We've been waiting so long to see Yamaji's bankai. It's op. 4 forms! I'm 32 years old now. For more than a decade I was thirsty to watch these episodes. I'm blessed! It's even hard to imagine how many bleach fans passed... So be greatful, be hyped!
Looking at the choreography of the fight sequence you can tell that the Naruto fight animation director was at work on this one. I'm so stoked they brought him on the team!
Oh word? I mean the choreo was saucy
@@Ssjutsu yes it was the guy who made Kakashi vs Obito and Madara vs the shinobi alliance
I noticed a transition with Yhwach that was similar to the Naruto Pein animation with the debris flying
This is what Studio Pierrot could deliver with Bleach being a Seasonal Anime 🔥🔥🔥
Big facts bro
This is not really a spoiler, but there are 2 sternritter Y's, they are twins. The one yamamoto fought had the ability to copy anyone's appearance and memories and the other one can copy someone's appearance, and strength. That was the one who transformed into Kenpachi and was one of the 3 who he killed
Watched this episode while on my job lunch break. LOL, prolly wasn't the best idea. Was screaming like a crazy person. 🫨😲
The hype for this reminded me of Kimtesu No Yaiba's Entertainment District, Episode 10. Too much insanity was happening! 🤯😱

@@Ssjutsu Yeees absolutely!!! It shows when viewers have already read the manga but try to fake their reactions for views 🙈 but here I felt the shock hahaa!! your mind will be blown away by the whole season! ✨
This fight was INCREDIBLE, and why did I get hyped seeing Aizen lmao
Can't wait for ep 7 this waiting is killing me .
I’m so hype that we have to wait a week! The anticipation is amazing
I really liked how yamamoto is an actual threat in this battle!! Him vs Aizen was always dumb to me because it felt like he was so weak in comparison. But this time it really feels like yamamoto was actually trying this time!!
All I’m going to say is this. Ywhach needed to bait Yamamoto to fight that Sternritter to expend some of his energy before coming to feel safe and do clean up. I loved the adaptation though. Manga mentioned him visiting Aizen via Ywhach and Yamamoto conversation, but did not show us actual Aizen and Ywhach conversation. Zanka No Tachi WEST was not shown or explained to us as well as I thought, they explained the temperature part but they didn’t explain that it’s much like an armor and he can make it disappear and go invisible while still having it be in effect. They didn’t show the entire picture of Yamamoto at the end being cut. They slightly didn’t get the atmosphere I was thinking of when Yamamoto activated Bankai and was showing the atmosphere being drained of water though. A few minor things were cut that I thought would’ve been use to truly show the extent of Yamamotos power But those are just minor gripes, that are nothing compared to the greatness we were given.
They cut the backstory of Royd, as well as the further explanation of Yama's bankai, to give us new content on the discussion with Aizen, which we didnt get in the manga.
Some mild spoilers but
Most likely we will get the full shot of Yamamoto cut down in the opening scene next week with just his lower half still standing and then into the shun sui content describing the old man Yama as the “monster” if memory serves me. It’s been a while since I read TYBW again. I still remember these chapters just killing me though when it was weekly releasing.
@@ynotwaffles yeah that’s what I was expecting since they didn’t show it here. they’re gonna start the episode off like that for sure
@@sxuuxp they didn’t show the whole part of yamamato being cut cuz that’s til next episode. That part happens in chapter 511. This episode ended at the end of chapter 510
@@Gee-bg2rv ahhhh I see, I thought it ended on that. My bad
Fun fact: A youtuber by the name of Retro Ryno made his own adaptation of TYBW a few years back. He only did one episode, but the production was so good that it got the attention of Johny Yong Bosch, who reprised the role of Ichigo for the one episode that made it to air.
In the credits for this episode, one of the animators is conspicuously different, - "Ryan White".
Ryan White is Retro Ryno. :D

Oooh so they added some anime only goodies!! Let’s goo!
@@Ssjutsu. That's right in the manga he only said that he met with aizen and he rejected him but in this episode we actually see the full conversation
@@blackfrieza1912 Not just that but things that Aizen said... slayed.
"I refuse. I would hate to see Quincy King walking in footsteps of a soul reaper" meaning if we collab, YOU, the quincy king, will be under me bitch. Lmao. Yhwach understood and said, "no more talk required".
There's one more fight in this cour that could top this one
Man put Yamamoto on sale. Slashing prices just in time for the holidays
Yuha Bach's power is pretty crazy, I'd say that had he fought Yamamoto himself it would result in bankai baiting. I believe Yamamoto is stronger. He'd have recalled his bankai fast enough imo, then it'd be shikai Yamamoto versus Yuha Bach, with Yuha Bach winning. However, that would have taken a lot out of Yuha Bach and could leave him open for someone else later.
*Spoilers below*
Killing Royd Loyd really helped. Gaining all of his power as well as the five other Sternritter (J, O, Q, R, and the other Y brother). Plus killing what remained of squad 1, the exhaustion and stealing Bankai. Yuha truly left nothing to chance. It's how he always is. Never struggle for what you want guarantee it. That humble pie Yamamoto gave him 1000 year ago really stuck with him.
The animation on this episode was amazing! I mean all of it has been gorgeous so far, but this is just a masterpiece.
not quite a masterpiece, that's a stretch
@@mastixencounter nice opinion 😉
Very high respect to Yamamoto (sorry if spelled wrong) for being an absolute monster. But I have to give my highest respect to the King for the outplay. That was dirty
Even in Prison, Aizen looks down on the Quincy King.
Over the years, I've seen a lot of reactors question why some Soul Reapers withhold their full powers and try to get by with the bare minimum. While there are immediate reasons like they'd affect their allies or it's too niche of an ability to work in this specific scenario. This fight between Yama and Yhwach demonstrates the highest level of "Why?" Because as we saw first with Wonderweiss and now The Yourself, if you're famous and powerful, people are going to prepare for you and what you'll bring to the table.
With Bankai Plundering, it seems like Yhwach was always going to win this fight regardless of their power scaling. As for who can take him on now... The meta answer is Ichigo since he's the main character so of course it'll come down to him. Otherwise I'd say Aizen, since it seems like Yhwach underestimates him and the Hogyoku's potential. There's also Squad 0, which was mentioned in the Pendulum flashback arc and finally the Soul King himself. We don't know much about either of those at this point.
15:10 yuha bahahaha💀🤣
Telling you who's stronger would be a really big spoiler since we haven't even covered like 20% of the arc, the hierarchy of power in this verse changes INSANELY... Also his name is pronounced Yuha Bach.
The name Yhwach is a reference to the Hebrew name for God: Yahweh. Yhwach has also been spelled phonetically in some material as "Juhabach" which is pronounced as "Yu-Ha Bok (like the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach)".
Stronger then Yamamoto is only Aizen which is locked, and ofcourse he is not on their side either.
But without Yamamoto SS ☠.
Oh i forgot actually there is someone who is stronger then Yamamoto. If you remember from the Anime was mentioned the royal guards of the Soul King. One of the members is stronger then Yamamoto. But they only protect the royal relam.
As a manga reader I`ve been waiting for this FOR SO LONG and it`s just WOW. As for the power scaling, as usual a bunch of people will just get stronger. Aizen also play a further role in the last arc. All I`m gonna say.
"The heart burns, but the rain is still falling". They foreshadowed this last episode. Yama's burning anger clouded his judgement... And what happens when the warm sky is clouded? You later get RAIN to put out the heat
Yeah i think it was pronounce Yu-Ha-Ba-Ha. Manga reader feel free to correct if i'm wrong.
Holy fuck studio Pierrot went bankai the fucking animation the fight is the level
Hahahaha
Really dope to see this animated, the manga emphasized a bit clearer how Yamamoto let his anger take over (like when he was younger) and that was the reason for him rushing the fight and falling for the imposter especially when hes usually very level headed and observant. Also they didnt really show him getting cut literally in half as clearly at the end.
Also the sound desing this episode was insane, the whole sizzling of the fire in the atmosphere and rattling of the skeletons was great.
Feel like the full cut in half while standing like a badass shot will be next week. Going by how the director of this arc is loving to cliff hang and tease. I have full faith we will see it in the opening scene next week.
when was that ever said in the manga. he was rushing because if he didn't it would destroy the soul society
Just a daily reminder that the animation staff for Bleach is fucking STACKED TO HELL!!! From the animators to the directors they’re literally the Justice League
Yama is not in his prime anymore. He got played because he was so drawn by his emotion for revenge and anger. Can't wait for the upcoming episodes. They are more nuts than this for sure.
when i finished the ep ive never cussed out my screen more then any show with the ending
Hahaha
14:20 lmaoooo I couldn't process what just happened either

SPOILERS IN THE REPLIES THAT FOLLOWED THIS COMMENT.
This MAY BE just my opinion, but I don't think Yama is stronger than Yhwach, even with using his Bankai. But you have to wait and see Yhwach's true power so you can realize that.
P.S.: Oh yeah, and something people don't quite understand and was left aside by the animation studio for this episode: that sternritter "Y" Royd Loyd (as if he is the "right" side of the twins Loyd Lloyd and Royd Lloyd, the later being the character that fought Zaraki and stood for the "left" of the "Y - Yourself" schrift), it was that guy's power that Yamamoto fought, not Yhwach's power.
That is because the "Royd" Lloyd just copied Yhwach's MEMORY and MIND but NOT his powers. It was the "Loyd" Lloyd that could copy power and skills (as he did to Zaraki). So, it was Royd's power that Yamamoto was overpowering. This is brought to light in the beginning of the chapter where Yama heard Royd apologizing to Yhwach and introduces to us the difference in the skills of this twins of hold the schrift "Y - Yourself" as sternritters.
Yuha doesnt surpass yama till he gets the almighty
@@mastixencounter technically, he always had; at least before he gattered the Sternritters. That's why, if we think of them at Full Power, Yhwach is always ahead.
@@andrujo Yama beat him back then too, before he lost his powers
@@mastixencounter Well, that is yet to be explained (or maybe already was in the novel - I didn't read). Cause it seems very unplausible that Almighty would be defeated by Ryujin Jakka alone.
@@mastixencounter oh yeah, and more than that: Yama himself told Shunsui if Yhwach came back, Yama would not return. So Yama knew he was the underdog.
I'm not sure if it was very clear but No hes not stronger than him he knew he could not take him on Head captain is a problem fully rested if he would have took him on from the beginning he know he would have lost but he exhausted himself thinking he was fighting there Boss..... And made him AK the head captain vulnerable.... So long story short no he couldn't take him on in a 1 V1
Yea after later assessment I can agree with that
Juha Bach.
The adaptation of Yamamoto and Royd’s fight was beautifully animated, far better then I thought it would’ve been years ago.
I love when Yamamoto's sword touched the ground and the whole floor went to destruction. This is the best fight and episode I have watched so far! and the best is yet to come! :D
This fight was amazing in the manga, but this episode elevated it to levels I didn't think were possible.
I think we’ve all basically settled on Yoo-haw bach. Bach like the composer.
Okay okay I feel that
i've seen alot old men in anime..me personally old man yama is the most terrifying when he's real mad. i remember way back when I knew nothing of bleach and the face old man would give made me think he was like netero from hunter x hunter but man...
This episode easily the best episode of the year!! Really hype with this fight! I can't even sleep cuz it's going in my mind over and over! Good job Pierrot and team, Bleach fans really deserves this treatment 😎👏👏
nah, its up there though
This nigga aizen went to prison and got swole
well...this also proves to why he didn't use bankai against aizen/wonderweiss. imagine that redirect that wonderweiss did but the power of the bankai...but also karakura town would have been finished
Love that you added the last time on bleach lol
He is stronger than yamamoto but only after stealing the bankai. With the bankai yamamoto is untouchable in my opinion (the west burn the things coming near to him).

U saw 2 fights in 1.. (flashback and now .. better Version of kakashi vs obito)
Aizen and Yhwach essentially had to get crafty to take Yama down,
Aizen is indeed stronger now, due to him being fused with the Hōgyoku he's a transcendent being therefore by just chilling there and I guess meditating from now and then he has become absolutely busted.
Old man Yama bringing all the flames into his zanpakto and saying bankai is bone chilling even when I was reading it (while listening to treachery OST that's sometimes Kenny's or Aizen's theme) I got chills
To answers ur question about Aizen, yes it does seem like he’s getting stronger despite being in prison, and keep in mind he’s immortal too so he’s gonna continue to get stronger no matter what

Manga didn't show Yamamoto using his shikai against Yhwach, he went straight to bankai; nor did Kubo show Yhwach meeting Aizen.
The manga did show him using his shikai against royd, its in chapter 506
As a manga reader even without stealing Yamamoto bankai the real Yuha is beyond insane.
SK Yhwach is insane
Base Yhwach I don’t see him beating Yamamoto Bankai
Fiinallllly
Bleach anime of the year
I mean I’m agreeing with you so far!
Yhwach isn't stronger than Yamamoto. Probably as close to being on par as anyone could be. However the episode didn't finish explaining the flames you were seeing. Yamamoto's flames are so hot that they shouldn't be visible to the eye. What we were actually seeing was a physical manifestation of Yamamoto's riatsu output. He wasn't literally exhausted after using his bunkai but the power output definitely weakened him by the time the real Quincy King showed. Thus between Ryujin Jaka being stolen, his now weaker state and Yhwach reishi sword called down Yama knew it was over. 😭
I mean to be fair Jugram did explain that something that hot wouldn’t take the form of flame and it was actually his raw reiatsu. I don’t think the explanation needed to be drawn out any further.
SPOILERS
I mean, tbf we never really get a fight with Yhwach pre Almighty to really judge how strong he is. There's the Ichibei fight, but we don't know how strong he is in relation to other characters either. I wouldn't be surprised if base Yhwach is stronger than Yama. Fake Yhwach got stomped by Yama, but the real one is obviously stronger
@@lucasfranke5161 I personally think Ichibei is stronger than Yama, as it’s practically stated that base Yhwach is at least comparable to Yama even if he isn’t stronger and we all saw how the Ichibei fight played out.
@@itwasntoptional5114 some people can use a little more detailing the explanation. If you understood it based on just what was explained within the show. That's fine.
Aizen did became stronger, after his battle with Ichigo Mugetsu, before the Hogyoku betrayed him he evolved into a form equal to the Ichigo Mugetsu, Aizen its at this time, the strongest being in the soul society, he is immortal too, no matter what you do, you CAN'T kill him.
yamamoto is the strongest for sure with bankai.(not from manga) (this is my thought, some people think aizen is stronger but i think yamamoto is stronger, thats why aizen needed wonderveis to seal yamamoto's shikai and bankai). he defeated juha bach and chose not to kill him. so he sealed him 1000 years ago even not using his bankai as %100. he would beat juha at this state again but if it was happend the anime/manga and that arc would be over. yamamoto should have been disabled with some way. and they created "stealing bankais" as this purpose.
bro i said over and over
if all anime were half as good as bleach animation and production people will be blown away .. this is at least 10 or 100 time better than the manga
in 2012 i was reading the trio at the same time (i think toriko too) and all of them were way better than bleach in this arc .. now seeing the animation well just hearing aizen's voice is better than all the other anime it's beyond amazing
the manga is definitly better thus far. but i can easily see the anime being better than the second half as that was super rushed and just a mess
it is (yuha bah) originally from german, and it is a german name. but japanese people spells it as juha bahha and weirdly american people writes it as yhwach (wtf is that :D even there is nothing as yhwach officially)
For the love of god Studio Perrot, just make Boruto a seasonal anime. Everyone would be better for it if this is what you’re capable of 😂
I was not ready for that, soul society taking L's left and right, as a anime only I don't know how they're gonna make it outta this, I'm sure ichigo's gonna pull some bs and win but idk how.
I want to see captain 3 go off, she still looked calm af while Yamamoto was using his bankai.

they cut some parts from this fight. like when he used bankai east actually when he used bankai west but he didnt said "west" there was a invincible spiritual cloak on him from the start he used bankai east. when juha bach hits yamamoto with his sword and his sword broke into peaces, he was suprised and couldnt figured out what is happening. (anime couldnt show this correct again. juha should hit yamamoto but sword should have been broken at a distance when it didnt hit yamamoto, cuz there was a invincible cloak, sword hits that invincible cloak, so we should have seen it like , sword hits air and break into pieces. so we should have been suprised and confused with juha either). then yamamoto said "i guess u are confused, u should know when there is a east, there must be a west, so i will make it visible to u cuz it seems like u didnt understand it". then he made that cloak visible as a fire cloak on him. and they couldnt give us the yamamoto's shocking expression when juha bach stole his bankai. he was like an expression on his face like "how this can be, it shouldnt work like that" cuz he thought they stole bankais only they know how it works. the information about "ichigo's bankai cannot be stolen" made yamamoto thinks wrong. he thought "they couldnt steal ichigo's bankai cuz that bankai is too new and there is more room for development thats why they couldnt know its real full potantial powers, and thats why they couldnt steal it, and they dont know my bankai's full version too, so they cant steal my bankai too". he thought like that, but guess what, they cut this from manga at anime too... so yamamoto was wrong about "how they can steal bankais" from the starting, thats why he was thinking they cant steal his bankai. thats why he was in a shock at that moment and thats why he couldnt defend himself even 1 minute after his bankai is stolen. cuz he was in a shock state. but anime couldnt give this to us. it was bad.
Did anybody even read the manga? I knew this was coming. I just want to enjoy the anime. And they far exceeded my expectations.
I’m so glad it exceeded your expectations as a manga reader 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I was just rereading manga for 5th time and I actually started laughing at all power scaling debates who vs who wins etc... yamamoto vs bla bla..
Let me just say this, in the manga its literally there, it said that Yhwach GOT HIS POWER BACK (Power he had 1000 years ago) he did NOT get stronger! LATER HE DOES BUT NOT IN THIS FIGHT.
That said, Yamamoto DEFEATED THAT SAME ALMIGHTY Yhwach 1000 Years ago, and made him lose his powers !
First thing Yhwach did after that is HE INVENTED MEDALION TO STEAL BANKAI ! CUZ HE WAS SCARED OF YAMAMOTO.
And after 999 years he REGAINED HIS POWERS and here we are.
Yamamoto bodied him 1000 years ago, it this fight he was much older plus missing an arm, and we know how arms work with swords in bleach U saw that fight with kenpachi vs Nnotoira.
Now what I am saying is this yamaoto couldnt even used his Sōkotsu that 1 shot wonderwiser , cuz he NEEDS 2 ARMS to perform it...
And I am sad to have to say this but this Yama IS Weaker then Yhwach, if they didint develop device to steal bankai he would still beat them like 1000 years ago, if he had both arms, there is a very high chance that even with his bankai stolen he could use Sōkotsu to defeat Yhwach.
Its "YU-HA-VA-KHH". Japanese doesn't have character for the breathy "KHH" so they substitute it with "HA" that's why they say it as YU-HA-BA-HA. If you notice, they pronounce the "HA" quick to emulate the "KHHHH"/"CHHHH" sound.
My list of Strongest Characters in the Anime till now,
1. Dangai Ichigo
2. Hogykou Aizen (Basically Immortal but probably less firepower than Bankai Yama)
3. Bankai Yama
4. Yhwach
This fight also explains why the other quincies couldn't steal Ichigo's Bankai, his tier is so high above them that only Juha can steal it
Also Zanka no Tachi is metal as fuck, it means Longsword of the Remnant Flame and the cardinal points mean:
-East: Daybreak Edge
-West: Dawn's Prison Garb
-South: Great Burial Formation of the Ten Trillion Burnt
-North: Heaven and Earth End in Ashes
Remember when ichigo destroyed an entire mountain with a swing of sword? Just saying Ive seen better but Yamas bankai is wild
It’s pronounced yew-ha balk in English terms in Japanese terms it’s pronounced yu-ha baha
Bro asked 500 likes we fandom gave him 1.2k 👽👽
And Yhwach pronounced as yuwabak
Short answer: Yoo-ha Bahk (Yuha Bach).
Long answer (why): Japanese is usually spoken with your tongue much further back in your throat than English so people who’s first language is Japanese usually develop their tongue muscles around that, so it’s just a matter of how the syllables are pronounced since the way you’d move your tongue for a k sound is different & so it sounds more like ba-ha-ck. For Latin-root language speakers you’d just say it like Bach the old music composer.
Aizen: "Yuha-Baha, exactly how I planned. Now I plan you to die, by... Ichigo's hand! Yes, that ma plan, beaaach!!"🤣🤣
German pronunciation: Uh-va-rr
Japanese butchered pronunciation: U-ha-ba-ha (??? lmao)
“Who’s stronger than Yamamoto”shidddddd prob like only 3 guys those being ywach, aizen, ichigo(manga readers know why, anime fans gotta wait)maybe ichibei too.
As a manga reader, they’ve done a damn good job.
The tone’s more desperate and dark with this arc than previous ones. They’re knocking it out of the park.
My only critique is that the spectacle’s a bit ruined by “Yhwach” being Sternritter Y instead the real Yhwach.
Otherwise, great stuff.
Remember back when Byakuya said that a bankai could never be that small and frail (Ichigo's)? Old man Yama's bankai, one of the oldest, is just as small...
We’ll see Yeah he is stronger than Bankai Yamamoto 3 reasons
1. He survived Yama bankai 1000 yrs ago
2. He can kill hogyouku Aizen when soul society & Yamamoto can not
3. He literally takes the bankai because he’s able to use it…only him tho then Slays Yama sealing the he’s stronger debate
nah this is why they came up with a way to take their Bankais. They'd have no chance if they couldn't
you ha ba ha.
He stole it for a reason, i believe Yama is stronger with his Bankia if not on the same level
Gotcha, I mean he definitely didn’t want to fight him and stole it straight away.
Bullshit.
