Fun fact: A fan animator actually played a role in the animation of this episode. His RUclips name is Retro Ryno and he did a whole bunch of TYBW fan animations a few years back. He's credited in this episode under his real name Ryan White. Pierrot seriously went above and beyond to involve someone from the community.
I'm glad you noticed how the animation wasn't typical Bleach animation. That's because another cool fun fact is they have a Naruto animation director who has worked on the higher quality Naruto animated fights on the Bleach team for this arc. You can sort of tell by the choreography and style when you see Yamamoto and Juha fight on the rooftop.
Love that both Ywatch and Aizen designed almost the same plan to take down Yamamoto. Just shows they probably wouldn't have been able to take him on on their own.
Old man respected that he got outplayed because of his anger, and he handled that like a fucking king. Rip Yama, second strongest shinigami who ever lived !
Dang you really called Kubo's own artwork "Powerpoint word art" XD Fun fact: This episode's title card "The Fire" used the same font, color gradient, and text size from Bleach chapter 507 "The Fire 3" that Tite Kubo designed in the manga. You guys should read it and see how it's the exact same it's so cool! I believe they've been faithful in keeping the same title card's designs straight from the manga in the previous episodes as well.
The look on Yamamoto's face. After having his bankai stolen, which is the only way you could defeat Yama, he knew he couldn't defeat Ywach with only one arm.
I know many people pay mind to the animation and upfront context of this episode but it's very important to notice the small character interactions, here Yamamoto is being very spiteful, instead of treating Ywach like a true threat and just erasing him, he tries to belittle, demean and torture him. In doing so he wasn't thinking like a commander and used tons of energy, enough that Ywach was able to steal his Bankai.
Yhwach stealing his Bankai has nothing to do with any of this. He could've stolen it as soon as Yamamoto used it if he'd been there. Yhwach said it clearly: only he was strong enough to suppress his Bankai. Also Yamamoto wasn't exhausted at all after he killed Royd 😑. The only issue with his Bankai is the heat generated from it.
Aizen being under someone? lol... come on Ywach, by the quincy's honor, don't make us look like fools!

10/10 clearly! Btw, Kenpachi also fought "Y" but that was Royd's brother, Loyd having the same ability. And seems like they could copy abilities, memories, etc... just their powers weren't that strong as the ones they copied I guess.
Loyd copied appearance and power. Royd copied personality and memories. Royd was just this strong on his own, where he could stand in front of Yamamoto and not die. We learned more about that in the manga right after reveal it was Royd and not Yhwach. We probably won't get it in anime as this was replaved with extended fighting scenes and Yhwach talking to Aizen. Which wasn't bad decision.
Says a lot when every main villian needs to have someone else fight Yamamoto, then seal his powers just to stand a chance against him. They really don't want the smoke.
Nah, Yhwach would still win this in his prime. Royd was necessary diversion so he could meet Aizen peacefully. Also seal isn't to have a chance - it's to win without any sweat.
Don't let the Op Bankai of Old Yama distract you from the fact that Sternritter "Y" Royd Lloyd didn't Die Instanly after taking the attacks of Yama's Bankai
I like that explosive tap from the sword... Cuz in anything.... If an object touches something very hot that rapidly changes its temperature it will explode... So it's very satisfying.... Also... Doesnt his bankai just suits hell too much?? Like... Fit for a king?
I thought kenpachi Killed Y in the last episode because he had to fight himself. so does that mean Ywach brought him back to life to use him in that fight against Yamamoto only to kill him again? that is messed up!
Yu-ha-ba-ha. YHWH in Japanese accent. We have to see how English dub does it, because it could be any variation of the Jewish/Christian God's name. My bet is Yu-h-vah/Yu-ha-vah, more closely to Jehowah. But then again Yhwach himself states that the pronouncation is different, because even, if it is the name of the Jewish God, he wanted to make it his own name (so pronouncation and the way its written - is different). Or they could just copy the Japanese mispronouncation of the letter W. But they don't do that for many other names, so it could go any way.

No shit really? That's awesome
I knew the animation looked familiar
That's insane, awesome for him
To go from the fan animation of Ep 1 to working on the real deal! That's just so awesome for him
Fun fact: People that use "Fun Fact" to start their comments are lame!

There is ALSO a fan animator credited in the episode as well
reminded me of naruto vs pain fight and it made me terrified because it was so badly animated
That rooftop section is what made it clear something is different, bleach choreography usually isn't on these levels
i hated the naruto animation for bleach, it didn't fit the usual gritty style
@@Hawkhunter07 But it's what Kubo wanted, i.e. the author 😬.

the moment everybody was waiting to see, old yamaji bankai.
Old man respected that he got outplayed because of his anger, and he handled that like a fucking king. Rip Yama, second strongest shinigami who ever lived !
royd lloyd is the brother of the one kenpachi kill earlier both of them can transform into somebody else but different aspects of that person.

Yeah he acted like a bad guy there.
The loss of Sasakibe really threw him off

Goatryusai Gamamoto everybody 🐐
Episode 6 synopsis: Massive disrespect
Am i ever going to find as good as an anime episode as this?? I don’t think it can even be better.
In the manga it was more worded in the way that what ever is cut/hit by east gets burned out of existence.
This episode was everything! 11/10 🔥🔥🔥
This season of Bleach is getting better and better, and I'm here for it. The is truly the best episode. Bankai!
this is why Aizen need seal yama blade, cause he also scare yamamoto fire blade ,he know he will lose 100%

There are 1 Yes. They are twins. 1 of them got killed by Kenpachi the other was pretending to be Yhwach from the begging.
