Who wrote all 3 with Kubo was picked by Kubo himslef because Narita was a huge fan and already figured out about Zarakis Zanpakutou secret before the tybw arc
He even said he never spoke to his zanpakuto or knew it’s name and when he met Yuchiro he didn’t know where she came from or know her name before naming her Yuchiro. It adds up but it’s not obvious so figuring that out off of observation is impressive lol

actually Yachiru is the Bankai manifestation of Nozarashi, Nozarashi's Zanpakuto Spirit is taken the formed of a grown woman, just imagine Captain Unohana but with Pink hair. you see it's quite unique on how Zaraki obtained his bankai compare to other Shinigami where you have to force your zanpakuto spirit into submission while for Zaraki's case, it was his bond with his Zanpakuto that allowed him to achieved Bankai without him even notice it.
Remember in episode 10 when Kenpachi finally heard his zanpakuto? His spirit was talking about "i am the one who has been watching you more than anyone", and then it showed Kenpachi and Yachiru on his shoulders, then you just made a random guess like does she have anything to do with his zanpakuto? You have no idea how stunned i was with that out of nowhere comment. That's some keen observation right there, props to you my guy for catching that extremely subtle hint.

@@SsjutsuAlso a little fun fact: Gremmy was actually just a brain inside a jar when Yhwach gave him powers, that's why he said at the end "even this body of mine is just a product of my imagination", cuz basically he didn't have a real body at all. And while in the anime we saw him at their meeting and during Uryu's introduction, in the manga Gremmy didn't appear at all until this fight, and the reason is because he was too dangerous to be left unchecked that Yhwach actually had him imprisoned in a cage specially made to contain him.
But anyways this episode was amazing. The adaptation for the most part remained faithful to the source material, some added extra scenes like with Yachiru's flashback. Although there's some minor cuts like i mentioned above, it's fine cuz they weren't too relevant to the plot anyways. The fight sequence was visually stunning, the pacing tho a bit too fast imo, worked fine. As a manga reader it's easily a 10/10 imo, can't wait for the next episode.

If you go back to the Ichigo vs Kenpachi fight in the Soul Society, when Ichigo first saw Yachiru he actually asked: "What are you?" Foreshadowing! Also little Yachiru (the person, not Zanpakuto spirit ) is named after Yachiru Unohana. Kenpachi said that that name belongs to someone he admires, when he named little girl Yachiru.
Probably the only youtuber reactor guessing and understanding that Yachiru is his Zanpakuto. Thumbs up for you SSJUTSU! I've never said it before but regarding Bleach you're the best reactor.

Yeah, cause he killed the other two captains and Genawell just by imaging their deaths. The problem is Gremmy was having fun with this fight and that was his undoing
If you actually think about gemmys ability he actually made kenpachi stronger than he was supposed to be since at the beginning of the fight gremmy said "you're as strong as i imagine kenpachi zaraki" so since gremmy imagine kenpachi was strong it became reality since gremmys ability is to literally make anything he thinks of reality

episode 19 is much better than this, animation, sound, character and story wise. This was good too, but for me it wasn't nearly as good, this episode you get massive kenpachi character arc and good animation / last episode you got great character development for byakuya and especially rukia, one of the best sternitter/vollstandig and best voice actor so far and animation on par with episode 6, i mean come on man.
I am really impressed by your deduction skills surrounding Yachiru. I think you are the only reactor that figured this out, now I am excited to watch your previous TYBW reactions I was unaware of your channel until now
My favorite thing about Yachiru being Kenpachi's sword is that it means that he actually has the BEST relationship with his zanpaktou out of basically every Soul Reaper, which contrasts hilariously with his whole rant in his first fight (against Ichigo) where he said he has no idea what his sword's name is and doesn't care because relying on someone else's power is pathetic or whatever.
But even back then how did he get around trying to find fights? Yachiru hanging over his shoulder (almost like a scabbard), telling him where to go, and him trusting her 100% no matter how many times she was wrong.

Also he's so stupid strong his sword spirit on its own is easily lieutenant class and has its OWN zanpaktou. Kenny truly is the strongest.
This entire episode was around 9 chapters of pure action, so manga readers had to wait for 9~ weeks for this conclusion. IMO they did this fight justice, 10/10 for me.
Still the best reactions by far. I've watched about 20 others so far, and you are the only one who got every hint in the episode lol.

Kubo and his brilliant 10-year foreshadowing. You paused at the right moment Yachiru touched the sword. The one who's been with him from the beginning. And that creature with the skull that Yachiru summoned...yep, that too.
Something i love was kenpachi telling Issane if she wanted to kill him to go ahead. There was no bragging or boasting. You could hear the sadness in how quiet his voice was.

And Kenpachi still didn’t take off the lid on his eye. He is still holding back half of his power.
Manga reader here....I have been WAITING for this for so damn long bro. Gremmy was such a unique opponent for Kenny. They really did a good job but I wish it was longer. The fight was 9 chapters long in the Manga but that's ok because I know they are saving some time to give us some peak Ichigo fanservice

Always like how smart your reactions are, there's a little more to the story, but yeah when Yachiru touches the blade and makes you realize that she's his zanpakuto. It's a very sick moment.
And don't forget who shares the same name as Yachiru.
Soundtrack was beautifully picked for this episode. "What you can see in their eyes" playing rockstyle along with Nozarashi's debut was so cool. And the "I am the edge" moment was lit as well.
Just wanted they had used the same drawing as Kubo's for when Zaraki says there's nothing he can't cut, it's pity they didn't. 😢

yeah since he fought ichigo way back in the soul society arc kubo has been dropping clues on yachiru. i mean her name is given to her because that is unohana’s name. the person responsible for him suppressing himself so bad he regressed and couldn’t hear his zanpakuto.
Kubo has been cooking michelin level meals from the beginning just he got hoe’d by the studio who did the anime early on. Glad my boy has been able to see his vision done right.

@@Ssjutsu and as you guessed, Yachiru is his bankai. Kenpachi's bankai is like Ichigo's where the younger version is bankai and the older one is shikai as Kubo said in one of his interviews.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned or not but when the meteor was coming down if I remember correctly from the manga everyone was shook like Bazz B was going nuts Jugram was saying to two guards (protect his majesty) and even the aizen looking Sternritter was looking at it as "Gremmy, are you trying to kill all of us".
I don't mind it not being shown here but it was a way to say "yeah gremmy is going kamakazie"

Bleach has had episodes explaining that the Zanpakto can materialize into beings, everyone at Oetsu Nimaiya place that helped forge Ichigo's swords were Asauchi (Zanpakto). Before that, they did a whole Arc on everyone's Zanpakto materializing and turning on them to fight with a member of Byakuya's clan Zanpakto, really good Arc btw.
