For those who got confused on the Negotiation scene. At the end, Yuha absorbs Ichibei's left hand /soul king's left hand but in return Ichibe sealed Yuha's almighty clairvoyance. Read between the lines.
And it also explains why Yuha didn't used his Almighty against Yama a thousand yrs ago because it got sealed by Ichibe.

The way Yhwach escaped from the Womb was different in the manga, and the negotiation scene from the beginning wasn't in there.
Also people have been thinking it was uryu that switched yhwach place with the medallion. So basically uryu can use Sasuke rinnegan ability. Funny cuz uryu has the same voice actor as Sasuke.

As someone who watched/read all of Bleach before I ever saw any of Naruto…it’s insane how alike Uryu/Sasuke really are even down to their abilities. That’s literally what I said when he threw the medallion and then he just teleported out “wow he’s actually using the Antithesis like Sasuke 😂”

Yeah you got that flashback mostly right. Once, all of the 3 worlds were one. But the Soul King split the worlds and created the cycle of life and death.
Yhwach says that in neither of those 3 world can one find peace and the people always fear death in the current system. He can hear the agony and pain of all the souls that die.
So his goal of changing or resetting that system is actually kinda noble if you think about it.
But they were not talking in the Soul Society, it was in the Lichtreich, the Quincy Empire. That was a part ofthe human world over a 1000 years ago.

This episode is way different than the manga. The opening is anime original, the fight between Oetsu and Yhwach's Royal Guards is different. In the manga, after that second slash, Askin survived and managed to fight Oetsu for a bit (if it counts as spoiler let me know, it's just anime and manga difference)
One thing you missed was Yhwach being the son of the Soul King. Another thing to keep in mind is how powerful Yhwach’s eyes are. I’m not going to spoil it but you’ll find out in the next episode hopefully

Ywach and Aizen may have the good intentions and Ichibe maybe the villain after all
Agreed! There's so much we learn after this arc that put things in perspective. Imo between Ichibei and those royal families...it's kinda hard NOT to at least understand why he felt the way he felt. Not to say Juha's motives were completely selfless, but they weren't completely selfish either.
Something that people rarely realize about bleach is that the shinigami are NOT heroes. They are the balancers of the 3 realms and will do ANYTHING to maintain that balance. The quincy massacre, the original gotei 13 being a squad of Merciless killing machine criminals, turning the soul king into a lump of flesh, Mayuri. There are good people among the shinigami but if it's for the greater good, they will do horrible things like the quincy.

I LOVE how they rearranged the whole Squad Zero fights because it leaves room for more new content as we had the whole flashback with with Yhwach and Ichibe. Next week we getting the second the last ep and the finale in the same week so don't forget it my guys.
The part about The Soul King being Yhwach father is quietly skimmed over, and im honestly surprised how early we learn this fact.
These sternritters are that powerful, there's a reason they're considered the elite gaurds of yhwach

Yo, this episode was so crazy. The beginning of this episode IS NOT in the manga. Yhwach said some interesting things this episode, my father's arm, not sure if you caught that.
Go back and look at the episode where they show the soul king, then watch the episode where they show Ichigo training and he has multiple eyes, and Yhwach has multiple eyes in this flashback.
There's a part missing from the manga, Yhwach revived his royal guard after they died. Tite Kubo is changing things, maybe the way he wanted to before he got sick and rushed through it.
Yhwach and Ichibei were talking in the world of the living, the "soul king" created the three worlds..... unwillingly.....
Oetsu still has nothing on Gerard Valkyrie or Lille Barro. Gerard Valkyrie is the MIGHTIEST of all Quincies!
[Tidbits & Clarifiations]
- This entire opening sequence between Yhwach and Ichibei is exclusive to the anime. We get some pretty important details, Ichibei seemingly is using the Left Hand of the Soul King and Yhwach can't use whatever his abilities are to see through the Soul King. Further, we now see who and how Yhwach abilities became "confined"
(Basically Yhwach absorbs the left hand which in turn seals his Ability (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong))
- With the added scene we get additional context as to what Yhwach motives may be. He seems to be upset about how the three realms came about and he claims that his father, the soul king has been put through humiliation.
- The Flashback scene takes place in the World of the Living, it's the Licht Reich which is the Quincies empire. Ichibei was their to negotiate, which is crazy to think because it seems that 0 Squad rarely leave the royal palace unless it's very important.
- Yhwach for the 1st time shows some emotion here, though he says otherwise he's clearly upset about whatever it was that happened to the soul king
- We see Uryu activate something, so it's proper to speculate what is it he did or is doing.
- Nianzol Weizol schrift "The Wind" is quite strong, it redirects any attack aimed against him even on an instinctual level, the issue is things like clothes don't have intent so Senjumara was a horrible match-up for him
- Assuming Ichigo remembers what his father told him about the past, this would be Ichigo's 1st interaction with Ganju while finally realizing they are related. Further Ganju makes an interesting claim, his sister knows a lot about the royal palace which again makes sense when you remember that the Shiba's were one of the 5 most Noble Clans.
- When Yhwach escapes the Cage the camera seems to hone in on Uryu, many have speculated that it is Uryu's unknown ability that allowed for that to occur.
(This isn't how it occurred in the Manga so we don't know either)
- Sidenote the anime seemingly makes huge changes because certain events in the manga which occurred in a certain manner have simply been completely changed, so even we manga readers have no idea what may happen at this point.

Well I have to add the flashback seems to be the timeline after Yhwach unified all the Quincy families and is right before he went to war with the original 13 Captains in Souls Society. His men at the meeting all died to Yamamoto in the first war.

Techinically, Uryu used his power "A" and teleported Yhwach there by changing its place with the medallion ala Sasuke Uchiha.

Wait a minute. Hold up- I just connected something here. Remember in Cour 1 with the flash back of Yhwach and his squad vs Yama and his squad fighiting to the death 1,000 years ago? Was Yhwach smirking before he died in that fight because he knew if his actual power wasn't sealed he could have won that fight? 🤔

Don't really see how toshiro is involved in the final episode? The season finale will cover up to the Almighty awakening and maybe show the soul king death and Ukitake using Kamikake. That Toshiro ain't happening till next year. That happens on chapter 670. We are like 60 chapters away.

The flashback makes alot of sense if you know what happens later on in the arc but for anime only viewers, It makes sense that you may not understand most of it.
Also, if you pay attention to Uryu through out this episode you will realize that he was the one who teleported Yhwach outside of the cage. It's the power bestowed upon him after drinking Yhwach's blood. The name and explation will be revealed much further down the line.
Literally can't wait for the final two episodes. It's going to insane next week.

The soul king did divide the world into what is now the world of the living , seireitei, heco mundo and hell. There are hints of what happened if you go back and watch the end credit scenes with Ichigo training.
Hell existed beside the Original World. The splitting of the world was created to seal off the portal to Hell.

And I really believed Uryuu is doing shambles right there. There's a lot of new details right there, the first part of the episode, and then Uryuu swapping the pin with Ywach
those flashback was an extended anime scenes since manga just skip it and make their interaction between Hichibei and Yhwach a bit weird seems they does know each other bfr this.
"Your eyes will be closed forever, never to open until the day you die." "The Sealed King": after 900 years of being sealed, he would regain his pulse; after another 90, he would regain his intellect; and he would absorb the power of every "impure" Quincy to make their abilities his own, regaining his strength after 9 more years. Then, the meeting between Ichibei and Yuha Bach should be before the war with Yamamoto (everyone is saying it). That triggered his hatred towards the Soul King. But, since he has to invade Soul Society (Level 1) before going up to the Soul Palace (Level 2), so he has to fight Yamamoto and he lost. I have the same question as others. How did Yuha Bach get rid of "Left Arm" and made it his?

The flashback scene is not in the manga and novel, this probably takes place before the Quincy war more than 1000 years ago.
The point of this scene is what happened to the Soul King past and present.
Ichibe is one of the people who knows SK and is involved in the history and concept of the current world of Bleach, this also includes powers such as Shinigami, Quincy, Fullbring etc.
That's why Yhwach asked who created it (even though his answer was half-true). And the reason he calls SK his father is unknown, both in the manga and novel.
In flashback, it's revealed that Yhwach is actually Soul King's son. Secondly, his powers were taken from him by Ichibei, after that he fought yamamoto and lost
Don’t forget, the general battle has been taking place in the Quincy stronghold not Soul Reaper’s. The red dome is the area where the Quincy’s shadow realm swapped with the Seireitei.
Ywach said the Soul King was his dad too! Don’t overlook that part in the beginning

5:04 Very close, the only thing was Yhwach motive. When a Quinny dies, he absorbs everything from that Quinny. Powers, experience, and feelings. And the one constant with every Quinny was the fear of death. He wanted to stop feeling that fear, either for himself or for his Quinnies. And since the Soul King created that fear, so, that's why he's fighting. Everything else you said was right.
If The Soul King is Yhwach's father then some things start to make sense.
I was wondering earlier this season why the Soul King was encased in crystal, then Yhwach referred to the royal palace as a grave. Which makes me a little sus of the Soul Reapers now and specifically Osho or Ichibe. Like maybe they did something to him and Yhwach is not only trying to remove death but like help his father
And on top of that in the opening scene Yhwach asks Osho who divided the worlds to what they are now almost to insinuate that it wasn't truly the Soul King, but Osho responds by reaffirming the narrative.

The flashback in the beginning of the anime wasn't on the manga. It was yet again Kubo giving us another tasteful adaptation.
