As a manga reader, the flashback in the beginning of the episode is greatly appreciated. It gives so much important information that wasn't in the source material.

This was around the time kubo was starting to get rushed and tripping on his feet going from this point on he only got to do a little of what he wanted to do the only thing that was actually all his and not rushed was the epilogue ending where ichogo and orihimes son meets rukia and renjis daughter meet to call back to the beginning of the series when rukia introduced ichigo to the world of the soul reapers

It is a failure, because a Zanpakuto is both the sword and the sheath. It’s a little forehadowing of Ichigo’s true Bankai that he will be using to land the final blow on Juha Bach. Ichigo’s Tensa Zangetsu is so sharp, even it’s sheathe crumbles when it is swung.

Both manga readers and anime watchers are eating good with that huge lore drop on that anime-only flashback. It showcase Yhwach motivation, more build up for Ichibei and Yhwach fight, and answered many questions that you may have in the future if not for this flashback. Also, Oetsu the goat aka "The Number One Zanpakuto Creator" is finally here. I can't wait for the two episodes finale this Saturday.

This episode feels like an anime from the 80s and 90s, because of the classic animation style that seems to be done all by hand, because of the setting, because of the direction, and because of that heart and soul that the animes of that time had in abundance and that Nowadays most animes don't have it. This ep of Bleach was wonderful.
Just think about how sharp Sayafushi (translates to sheath dodger since it can't be sheathed) is for Lille Barro to fire that gun and him not to even react when the bullets hit nor feel the recoil. He didn't use another hand to block it either. Like a knife made of lava going through butter

This Episode is brought to you the namesake of this part: The Separation
Those first few mins before jumping back to the present is completely anime original and gave us something that we didn’t get till the end of the manga: Yhwach’s Motive of unifying all the worlds of existence, Life & Death and ending this current world of “deceit” or rather The (S)Xeparation of Reality.
What was shown was an ancient past diplomatic meeting between the Quincy King and The Progenitor Soul Reaper Monk Who Calls the Real Name gone wrong.
The fact that we got it now along with his signature ability (which shall be named and revealed in the finale) that was taken from him shows that they truly care about fleshing out the source material as much as possible when we’re only about to be halfway through this anime arc, making this one of the best anime adaptations.
They’ve been having to sacrifice a lot of fan service comedic gag fluff in the manga and streamline/condense a lot of the dialogue for the sake of the overall tone and appropriate pace for a war to end all of the consecutive back to back action throughout this 2nd invasion of the arc, they know exactly what they’re doing but unfortunately many people are quick to jump to conclusions looking at it from an episodic basis instead of looking at the bigger picture, as if the pacing is out of whack or sacrificing the comedic tone takes away from “the heart of Bleach” while that was certainly a part of OG Bleach, it’s always had this darker and spiritual tone “Less is More, Poetry in Motion”, that’s the true essence of BLEACH.
Next week is an anime original fight with our very own Quincy + Bleach’s Battle Of Gods.
The pull-up in this episode was insane honestly. I love how they’re adding more to this fight though

Its edge is so sharp that he has to keep it in a special container because it cuts through any sheath...
Its also the reason why the hilt/handle is made loose for it to wobble left and right, other wise the blade would cut through the handle...
The Quincy Royal Guard are not fighting at full power. But, 3/4 have been around since the start of the first Quincy War. Askin was the strongest of the Stern Ritters so he was picked to serve Yhwach directly.
"Don't say my name lightly" that reference is for his literally name 💀 he literally name all beings and non beings in soul society and he can take it back and the way he said to Yhwach that he going to get his voice is true, he can say " Yhwach can't talk anymore" and Yhwach can be muted until the end of this arc lol 🤣💀 that's why Ichibei is literally BROKEN 💀

Yhawch escaped the cage with uryu’s help peep how uryu’s eyes were glowing when the medallion was thrown
Believe it or not, Yhwach just discarded Yama's bankai to get out of that cage. The way I saw it, anything with reishi can't pass through that cage. Branches stop them all, you or your attacks. If Yhwach threw that medallion and cage didn't react, it must not have reishi. Then the dude substituted himself with medallion when it got outside, like Sasuke's teleportation.

I've noticed that small bit with Uryu goes unnoticed with all of these reactors. I won't spoil anything, but he flipped shit on its head even for manga readers😂 I know how this ends but after seeing what I saw I don't know what road they're taking.
Even Mrtommo and tekking101 didn't notice that it's Uryu who did the teleporting or reversing

This episode was so fucking good and even as a manga reader seeing the flashback at the beginning and the several different altered changes that kubo made during this whole sequence was so good. Seeing uryu use his shrift so yhwach could teleport outside the cage and yhwach not using auswahalen after the Schutzstaffel wete taken out. I csnt wait for next weeks double episode bc its looking like we will actually get to see the zero division actually fight too.
I cant wait to see what kubo is cooking up for cour 3 especially if hes altering things with this arc like he is starting to do now.

There's actually a trick on how Yhwach got to leave the cage. Uryu was shown after we saw the pin Yhwach threw got back in the same place Yhwach was previously standing, then they show Ishida after. Knowing what his schrift is, it's defintely Uryu's doing.

Actually Ishida is the one that allowed Y.H to escape. We see him use is power on is eyes when they arrive to the fake palace”. If you notice when Y.H teleports they give a long focus on Ishida and when Ichibe says “so you have the power to escape” he is looking down (where Ishida is) even tho Y.H is already above him.
