In anime they've changed and added many things which are great. The flashback of Yhwach and Ichibei are brand new and Yhwach leaving to fight Ichibei is also altered. I'm glad they're taking steps to change it into a better fight

Ichibe was a scary MF already back in the manga but in the anime he got this whole "bow to us or you are bent for eternity"-shit going.

not to forget the reasons why GIN ICHIMARU stab AIZEN Sama back in the day, because Aizen took some of Soul King part inside Rangkiku while she is child. That's make Rangiku doesn't have reach her True Potential until now. Wonder how powerful Rangiku is if she still has those Soul King part and not LAZY as she is right now.
Rangiku had a nail of the soul king inside her soul but Aizen needed it for creating the proto Hogyouku that he fused with Urahara's Hogyouku. Basically Rangiku should have been one of the strongest characters if not for Aizen stealing it from her.

The only real flaw is lack of defense as shown throughout that she is VERY susceptible to attacks.
Just specks of dust, we can't even see 1 spec of dust particle / ash unless they clumped up enough to be seen under the light
She can easily be the most lethal one even in 2nd Squad as an assassin. Just some dusts enter the body and tear from within.
Just surrounded by the ashes can cause huge cuts, much less in the body where you can choke, stop blood flow, rupture etc in the body
She was more of done dirty by "character plot"
Ywach escaping the cage was thanks to the power he gave Uryu and is drastically different to how he escaped in the manga.

Sternritter”C” Pernida Parkngjass used his power that he distorted the bodies of the Elite Soldier and Senjumaru to distort and break the cage.
In the anime it’s even better, because Uryu used his schrift to swap the medalion and Yhwach.
In the manga I always thought why tf doesn’t Uryu just swap the inside and outside of the cage? Now I got the answer
Yhwach didn't have him that power, Uryu already innately had it, Yhwach awakened it by giving him a schrift, that power is also the reason Uryu didn't die back when Yhwach used Aushwalen on every impure quincy like Masaki and Katagiri.

Yamamoto bankai is no longer with Yuha cause Yamamoto is dead. Zanpacuto dies when Shinigami dies cause its part of them in the end. Also Oetsu is not exactly zanpacuto creator but Asauchi creator. Asauchi is just means for creation of zanpacuto. Its zanpacuto in general sense but its not zanpacuto actually yet. Its like enchanting in video games. Oetsu makes swords with enchanting sockets but he don't enchant them. And when Shinigami enchant it (with part of their soul) then it becomes zanpacuto. I think that's a good analogy.
But how the overkill Quincy can use chojuro's bankai while the owner is dead?

The entire beginning scene with Ichibe was so goddamn fulfilling as a lore nerd. There’s so much context and stuff they put it and I’m loving it.

Nichijou is a very fun comedy anime!! It's from more than a few years ago, and it's on the crack side of comedy, but I think it pulls off comedic timing very well, and it holds a special place in my heart

The flashback at the beginning reveals so much, it's crazy. So, all 3 worlds were once one and life and death didn't exist.
The Soul King created the current system of life and death and Yhwach can at all times hear the agony of the souls that exist in this awful system.
The world the Soul King created is one where people constantly fear death and cling to life desperately. But in neither of the 3 dimensions is life fulfilling.
Yhwach wanting to reset that world is actually somewhat of a noble goal. Also the fact that the Soul King is his father explains why Yhwach has such insane power.

The reason the Soul King changed the world was because the old one was way worse. No death, but constant fear and pain.
The reason Yhwach wants a world without death is because sick people afraid of death have used him to live longer since he was litterally a baby, when they died their soul got imprinted on his and their fear of death came with them. Eventually it fucked him up so much that he decided that a world without death needed to happen at all cost.
@@Dragonpuncher123There was no fear but definitely pain in the primordial universe, at the end of the manga, Aizen monolgues about Yhwach's aim to restore everything back to the Og universe is not good because the lack of fear makes ways to regression.

@@atan6193 well we have the later chapters to show how strong the schutzstaffel are. It's one of the reasons why I like them over the espada and lower sternritters, all of them are so unapologetically broken.

And yeah I agree I'm kinda on Yhwach's side. Imagine some Soul Reaper mfs one day just decide to create the concept of death and separate the universe into 3 worlds where if you die in the World of the Living you either go to Hueco Mundo and become a hungry ghost who has to eat people to have some sanity eternally until you're killed by a Soul Reaper or eaten by another hollow, or you go to the Soul Society as a soul and live in poverty and discrimination unless you're 1 in 10,000 who becomes a fodder Soul Reaper and gets to die fighting hollows.
And *THEN* you're Yhwach who has to experience the memories of death and suffering of every single Quincy that has ever existed. That shit would be eternal hell, you can see why Yhwach wants to change the world.

I mean both arent wrong or right actually. What Yhwach wants to created is not bad or wrong but it doesn't solve the problems. What the Noble clans and Ichibei created kinda did solve it but its still fcked up and the way they did it is also bad
It was the 5 noble clan to let the soul king separate the original world into 3 pieces because the original world has also a flaws, humans can't co exist with hollows, and humans in the original world are terrorized by the hollows, until the soul king was born and defeated the hollows, the reason why yhwach is not agreeing to the 3 separate worlds not because of the fear of death is that because the quinces not exist that yet and he don't want to see the soul king become like a power battery to maintain soul society, hueco mundo and human world, and the soul king agreed to become one...

the ichibe and yhwach scene from the beginning is an anime exclusive scene, tenjiro showed up before senjumaru to fight nianzol in the manga, those are the 2 biggest changes for this episode as far as I can remember. The anime is taking a different route to the manga by adding and cutting a lot out, so both are very different experiences. Cour 3 and 4 will have a lot of new anime exclusive content, I heard aizen and ukitake are getting a lot of new scenes for cour 3

Okay so context. When ichigo was training with ichibei he saw visions that involved the soul king. Now the soul king was the very first being to come into existance. But he was to powerful so 5 elders along with ichibei decided to seal him to make the link between hueco mundo, soul society and the human world stable. When the time came for him to be sealed the soul king accepted his fate. But without his knowledge the mutalated him. Took his arms and legs his brain everything all that was left was a torso and head. He would reman like that for all eternity living in a state of lifelessness.
Ichibe’s actually the oldest being in all of bleach, 1m+ old

There are no statements who came first or were alive first. But Ichibei also implied that he came after the Soul king. Also, Hell was always around, too

[Tidbits & Clarifiations][Lotta reading my bad]
- This entire opening sequence between Yhwach and Ichibei is exclusive to the anime. We get some pretty important details, Ichibei seemingly is using the Left Hand of the Soul King and Yhwach can't use whatever his abilities are to see through the Soul King. Further, we now see who and how Yhwach abilities became "confined"
(Basically Yhwach absorbs the left hand which in turn seals his Ability (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong))
- With the added scene we get additional context as to what Yhwach motives may be. He seems to be upset about how the three realms came about and he claims that his father, the soul king has been put through humiliation.
- The Flashback scene takes place in the World of the Living, it's the Licht Reich which is the Quincies empire. Ichibei was their to negotiate, which is crazy to think because it seems that 0 Squad rarely leave the royal palace unless it's very important.
- Yhwach for the 1st time shows some emotion here, though he says otherwise he's clearly upset about whatever it was that happened to the soul king
- We see Uryu activate something, so it's proper to speculate what is it he did or is doing.
- A scene is removed where Yhwach arragontly ignores Senjumara and steps leisurely pass her, it was a cool scene that express Yhwach's defiance against the Soul Palace and everything they stand for.
- Nianzol Weizol schrift "The Wind" is quite strong, it redirects any attack aimed against him even on an instinctual level, the issue is things like clothes don't have intent so Senjumara was a horrible match-up for him
- Assuming Ichigo remembers what his father told him about the past, this would be Ichigo's 1st interaction with Ganju while finally realizing they are related. Further Ganju makes an interesting claim, his sister knows a lot about the royal palace which again makes sense when you remember that the Shiba's were one of the 5 most Noble Clans.
- When Yhwach escapes the Cage the camera seems to hone in on Uryu, many have speculated that it is Uryu's unknown ability that allowed for that to occur.
(This isn't how it occurred in the Manga so we don't know either)
- Sidenote the anime seemingly makes huge changes because certain events in the manga which occurred in a certain manner have simply been completely changed, so even we manga readers have no idea what may happen at this point.
- Sidenote: For a Comedy suggestion i'd Say Gintama.

The soul king is Ywhach biological father. The Almighty is inherited, you can't take it from the soul king. When Ywhach absorbed him, he didn't necessarily take his almighty, he just completed his almighty, since ya'know...he absorbed the guy who originally had it.
Actually, the Soul King was the original quincy; their forefather.
Juha Bach is a messiah among the quincies for two reasons:
-he was the first to inherit the Soul King’s own power: the Allmighty. The power to see any future and alter it.
-he was born with an extreme amount of reishi which he could share with others, empowering them. All the sternritters’ powers were granted by him.
Lille Barro was the first quincy to become a sternritter.
Gerard and Pernida, however, are the soul king’s heart and left hand, respectively. They’ve always had their own powers.
