As much as I'm enjoying the other anime in the fall, Bleach TYBW is in a different league at the moment the 10 year wait was worth it, the animation quality, the story, music, directing/pacing and voice acting are all god tier

Yeah, Byakuya and Yama are characters signified by duty, the hold their purpose in high regard and are stubbornly dignified...it means a ton to have someone like byakuya beg for help.
When Ichigo's reiatsu vanished as he jumped - it was Sonido (Hollow's move) When Ichigo was sensing everyone's reiatsu vanishing - it was portrayed the same way as 'Pesquisa' (Hollow's sensing move) Hollow side leaking through when he's pissed off. As for Haschwalt breaking Ichigo's sword - Ichigo exausted himself inside the jail and then threw hands with Yhwch. His bankai was already at the limit, Haschwalt just finished it off.
If you look at his blade before, during, and after he was captured in Quilge’s Jail you can actually see it starting to chip and wear down. Love the little details here in the anime. And has it been confirmed that’s what he’s using? The only reason I ask is because it seems they’ve changed the sound effects a bit compared to the OG and I don’t remember this being said during the manga. If it is and has been confirmed by Kubo or the team, that makes this episode even better imo.
Aside from the fight and reveal at the end my favorite moment was Ichigo not responding to Byakuya and Byakuya understanding, trusting, and knowing what Ichigo was on still.

I'll say it again, I'm so happy other than, mappa, bones, wit studios and ufotable, another studio, by the name of studio pierrot is finally getting their name back to the top, the animation is crazy
Remember before all these studios were created, Pierrot was one of the few anime studios to carry the industry by making yu yu hakusho, naruto and bleach.

(Anime only) Ichigo's fight with Aizen can now be seen under a new light. The reason Aizen didn't understand Dangai Ichigo's power, to me, was because Aizen expected some Quincy shit. He also commented before Isshin showed up that Ichigo "should be much stronger than this" also referencing his latent Quincy abilities. This also explains Isshin's connection to Ryuken Ishida, Uryu's father. They share a scene when the gang goes off to Hueco Mundo. The exact nature of their relationship is still unknown in the anime.
If you look closely, Ichigo move completely slip away all the quincy's perception, which is what Sonído do. On top of that, the way he sense everyone is portray almost exactly like Ulquiorra's Pesquisa. When ichigo was mad, he unconsciously use hollow power

As a manga reader, almost all of this episode was anime only. It was so awesome seeing this episode super fleshed out compared to the manga like it was actually beautiful
no it wasn't. the main things that weren't was the og gotei 13 flashback, we got silhouettes though, and the beginning part of the fight with ichigo and yuha. other than that, pretty much everything else was in the manga. and in the manga byakuya's ribcage and stomach was actually blown out

I already mentioned the flashback wasn't included and all that was there was the silhouettes, and only the beginning part of the fight where they go at it wasn't in the manga, everything after that was. And in the manga, he didn't need to grab akon cuz he was already on the ground and in no further danger. Although they did cut the line when yuha was leaving that he said it would be best to go because 0 division would be arriving soon, which is nothing new at this point because they been hiding lines like this the whole arc. Like how the manga mentions quincies a whole bunch of times but the anime version keeps cutting that out i guess to make it a mystery, but everybody already knew making it pointless but whatever
they also added alot of new scenes that werent in the manga and extending the fight between ichigo and yhwach was amazing! Byakuya scene was done so well tears started producing! this episode was beautifully done. Got to give it to Studio Pierrot for giving this arc so much care and love! they are going all out and I love it!
Very emotional episode,from Shunsui calling out Old Man Yama!! to Byakuya crying and asking Ichigo in a choked up voice to protect Soul Society.OG 13 and Ichigo finding about his Mom,love it,i definitely cried a few times but much much more surprises to come. Super excited for the next few episodes. Loved how you talked about Byakuya also loved your face when you saw Unohana in the beginning always so calm you say lol
Two insane foreshadowings of this reveal: When Aizen was talking to Ichigo in Karakura town he was about to tell him why he was watching him since birth. Isshin appears suddenly and cut him off, Ichigo said he never heard the end of Aizen's sentence revealing what he really is. Isshin wanted to protect him from the truth. In the very first episode of Bleach, if you notice Ichigo's bed sheets, there are Quincy Cross patterns on them.
As a manga reader I like your reactions, but the anime adaptation is so well done I didn't imagine it would have been so good. Bleach is at its peak and happy to be a fan. Also much more to come

The Byakuya and Ichigo conversation was so powerful. His growth, from when we first saw him, to now asking Ichigo to save the Soul Society. Unohana being an OG of the 13 Captains, bruh. Ichigo about to go on his, Kurama chakra control training arc. Probably some, awaken your Quincy spirit pressure and combine it with your Soul Reaper spirit pressure. The Music once again, a stand out factor for me. They are killing it with these episodes.
It's not actually a "training to merge" and all that naruto shit(not being rude to you, I just don't like Naruto), only thing that Ichigo will need there will be to learn about his past, and who the hell he are.
This is one of the best reactions I’ve seen, you can tell the great emotional story telling and all the in depth details Kubo put into this story arc. Thanks man it’s great to watch someone not only react to something like this , but for someone to actually understand everything as well.
Byakuya was proud to a fault, even. His arrogance was his character flaw. That man paid no need to anybody else who he deemed was beneath him. To see him crushed like that, everything he's ever worked and trained for, reduced to nothing in a single encounter with an enemy he's supposed to defeat, is impactful. The man has finally learned humility when he begged for Ichigo's help.
pretty sure that was solved in the soul society arc, byakuya was changed back then ,it's not like some full circle moment that he did that , and his arrogance was no different than yammamoto's he's driven by duty , that moment was just him getting emotional in his "death bed " , like why would he have to beg ichigo for something everyone knows ichigo will do anyway .i personnaly found that moment a little cringe since i already don't like ichigo for being this cartoonish cliche main character who's whole value as a character is being plot armored af, so having a charcter like byakuya do the cliché please main character save everyone even as emotional as it was felt a bit off for me.

Don’t know if you continued to watch the episode but the ending was changed to new visuals containing the og gotei 13 captains. All these new visuals is all new and the captains designs are top notch. Kubo always makes great character designs that make you want to know more about them
It is quite telling that Ichigo checked on Rukia and Renji first, reassuring Byakuya of their survival. Byakuya asking or placing the responsibility of saving soul society on Ichigo truly felt deep and Ichigo's silent response showed the respect that both have for each other regardless of their past. Its like Gin seeing Ichigo on his death bed and knowing he got it handled. The lost of Yama will be an emotional tide felt throughout the soul society and tbh, if not for Azien messing with Yhwach senses, the soul society would've have been lost to history this episode. Already in the MVP category. Imo, this episode topped last week's episode due to the flashback, emotion and extended fight scene.

When even the SternRitters couldn't sense Ichigo's presence, it made me remember just how OP Mugetsu Ichigo was .. he elevated so high, he was even beyond Aizen's ability to sense him.
i love how in the og bleach when Aizen was explaining stuff about Ichigo he was basically and spoiler and Ishinn came in as "wait till he catches up, Aizen" when he was about to unfold exactly who his mum was

Read the manga years ago so not much in this anime can surprise me (other than, of course, this FUCKING AMAZING animation!), but Shunsui's cry when he realizes Yamamoto's died was so unexpectedly raw. I always imagined it to sound more angry than anything, but man's voice almost cracked in despair.
Yes, that was Unahona. There is a reason why she hasn't been in a fight in hundreds of years and it isn't because she can't fight. Also, this is why Aizen kept an eye on Ichigo since his birth. He is a naturally born transcendent being, given that his father was a Shingami and his mother was a Quincy, and Aizen was interested in how powerful he would become.

It hasn't been covered yet, but it is virtually certain that White was a Vasto Lorde hollow when he attached to Masaki, so that is another top-level contributor to his powers. I read the manga and it's page by page awesomeness.. and the back story on ichigos mom and dad is strong . can't wait for the rest of this get animated
Ichigo is human, soul reaper, Full bringer, Hollow, and Quincy. I said it before, your ability to analyze these anime is top notch. Yhwach is worried about his potential, that's all I can say without spoiling things. He will learn everything about himself later. I'll say this, Ichigo has only been using an extremely small amount of his true power.

Also loved the ending sequence with them showning the OG court gaurd and then some of the new ones and lastly the flame flickering out at end symbolising the end of Yamamoto I thought whole things was really well done
As a manga reader, I must say they are doing a phenomenal job with the anime right now. And I think most, if not all, manga readers would agree. Animation, story, and the music. Everything is crazy. I don't even remember the old 13 court guards scene from the manga, but that could just be me.
Most people don’t think much of it, until it’s revealed. It wasn’t very obvious. In fact, most people believed it was because of his hollow powers. Adaptation through the roof. Had several added scenes in this episode also. Until now we never saw the original Gotei 13 captains.
I don't think I need to tell you this, but as a manga reader they're blowing this shit out of the park, from the animation to the extra scenes that weren't in the manga it's all amazing. For context in the manga we weren't shown a clear picture of the original captains we only saw a still image with them covered in shadows that you couldn't make out, so to see a clear picture of them as well as seeing the fight 1000 years ago was a nice touch, they also extended Ichigo's fight against Yhwach and they were beautiful. There was some clues about Ichigo being a quincy but they were pretty subtle so it's pretty impressive that you picked up on it. There's really only 2 clues in the OG series and one of them you wouldn't realise until we saw more of the quincies 1. When Ichigo faces Kenpachi and his bleeding magically stops, this is one of the quincies defensive abilities 2. The more obvious one is when Aizen was about to tell Ichigo about his past before Isshin butted in.
The changes in the ending sequence were so awesome, instead of the zanpakuto they showed funeral candles, and then they show off the OG 13? Next level...

Yes that was Unohana Retsu in the beginning. im glad that that ichigo vs yhwach fight got extended, gives me hope that they will extend the fights at the end of the manga since it got rushed.
To answer your question from the end of the video, the idea of him being part quincy is forshadowed quite early on in the story. In the OG anime his bedsheets are the first clue(quincy cross pattern), his fight with Zaraki in SS arc, he stops the bleeding from the slash Zaraki gives him(Blut forshadowing), in FK arc Aizen is about to reveal it himself but Ishiin cuts him off. Bonus bit of forshadowing that not many pick up on, put a picture of Shikai Ichigo and Yhwach with his sword drawn side by side and look at them. Ichigo's blade is eerily similar t Yhwach's except for the hilt and guard. Actually, if you're anime only, best to refrain from googling Yhwach images altogether come to think of it. Just use still shots from the anime.

Byakuya was proud to a fault, even. His arrogance was his character flaw. That man paid no need to anybody else who he deemed was beneath him. To see him crushed like that, everything he's ever worked and trained for, reduced to nothing in a single encounter with an enemy he's supposed to defeat, is impactful. The man has finally learned humility when he begged for Ichigo's help.
pretty sure that was solved in the soul society arc, byakuya was changed back then ,it's not like some full circle moment that he did that , and his arrogance was no different than yammamoto's he's driven by duty , that moment was just him getting emotional in his "death bed " , like why would he have to beg ichigo for something everyone knows ichigo will do anyway .i personnaly found that moment a little cringe since i already don't like ichigo for being this cartoonish cliche main character who's whole value as a character is being plot armored af, so having a charcter like byakuya do the cliché please main character save everyone even as emotional as it was felt a bit off for me.

Don’t know if you continued to watch the episode but the ending was changed to new visuals containing the og gotei 13 captains. All these new visuals is all new and the captains designs are top notch. Kubo always makes great character designs that make you want to know more about them
Ichigo is a quincy too damn. The animation, pacing and soundtrack in this episode is by far the best. It even outplayed Ep6 holy shi

It is quite telling that Ichigo checked on Rukia and Renji first, reassuring Byakuya of their survival. Byakuya asking or placing the responsibility of saving soul society on Ichigo truly felt deep and Ichigo's silent response showed the respect that both have for each other regardless of their past. Its like Gin seeing Ichigo on his death bed and knowing he got it handled.
The lost of Yama will be an emotional tide felt throughout the soul society and tbh, if not for Azien messing with Yhwach senses, the soul society would've have been lost to history this episode. Already in the MVP category.
Imo, this episode topped last week's episode due to the flashback, emotion and extended fight scene.
This episode had me literally yelling at my screen LOL. This is the definition of PEAK anime

When even the SternRitters couldn't sense Ichigo's presence, it made me remember just how OP Mugetsu Ichigo was .. he elevated so high, he was even beyond Aizen's ability to sense him.

Read the manga years ago so not much in this anime can surprise me (other than, of course, this FUCKING AMAZING animation!), but Shunsui's cry when he realizes Yamamoto's died was so unexpectedly raw. I always imagined it to sound more angry than anything, but man's voice almost cracked in despair.
Yes, that was Unahona. There is a reason why she hasn't been in a fight in hundreds of years and it isn't because she can't fight.
Also, this is why Aizen kept an eye on Ichigo since his birth. He is a naturally born transcendent being, given that his father was a Shingami and his mother was a Quincy, and Aizen was interested in how powerful he would become.
He also is a decendant from of the noble house (shiba clan) and decendant of a pure blood quincy. He's basically Royalty from everywhere you see it.

It hasn't been covered yet, but it is virtually certain that White was a Vasto Lorde hollow when he attached to Masaki, so that is another top-level contributor to his powers. The only character who might surpass him in the end is Kazui, whose powers really aren't understood.

damn I read the manga and I didn't think I would cry after seeing the Byakuya scene that was amazingly deep and emotional,

Everything but the rain chapters in the manga, it's in there. A Quincy is a human btw.

As a manga reader, I must say they are doing a phenomenal job with the anime right now. And I think most, if not all, manga readers would agree. Animation, story, and the music. Everything is crazy. I don't even remember the old 13 court guards scene from the manga, but that could just be me.

Most people don’t think much of it, until it’s revealed. It wasn’t very obvious. In fact, most people believed it was because of his hollow powers.
Adaptation through the roof. Had several added scenes in this episode also. Until now we never saw the original Gotei 13 captains.
I don't think I need to tell you this, but as a manga reader they're blowing this shit out of the park, from the animation to the extra scenes that weren't in the manga it's all amazing.
For context in the manga we weren't shown a clear picture of the original captains we only saw a still image with them covered in shadows that you couldn't make out, so to see a clear picture of them as well as seeing the fight 1000 years ago was a nice touch, they also extended Ichigo's fight against Yhwach and they were beautiful.
There was some clues about Ichigo being a quincy but they were pretty subtle so it's pretty impressive that you picked up on it. There's really only 2 clues in the OG series and one of them you wouldn't realise until we saw more of the quincies
1. When Ichigo faces Kenpachi and his bleeding magically stops, this is one of the quincies defensive abilities
2. The more obvious one is when Aizen was about to tell Ichigo about his past before Isshin butted in.

To answer your question from the end of the video, the idea of him being part quincy is forshadowed quite early on in the story. In the OG anime his bedsheets are the first clue(quincy cross pattern), his fight with Zaraki in SS arc, he stops the bleeding from the slash Zaraki gives him(Blut forshadowing), in FK arc Aizen is about to reveal it himself but Ishiin cuts him off. Bonus bit of forshadowing that not many pick up on, put a picture of Shikai Ichigo and Yhwach with his sword drawn side by side and look at them. Ichigo's blade is eerily similar t Yhwach's except for the hilt and guard. Actually, if you're anime only, best to refrain from googling Yhwach images altogether come to think of it. Just use still shots from the anime.

If you see at end of episode when Ichigo sword got cut off it didn’t get cut off with the sword because if you look closely the other guys sword didn’t even touch ichigo sword
