Performing maintenance that I saw in this video, I was able to fix a stitching problem that happened suddenly. I was facing having to haul my 6 needle machine to be serviced, but was able to completely fix the issue by oiling the felt pieces above each needle. So happy to have found this video. Thank you, Doug!!
I sure wish I had one of those screw drivers. I bought a Baby Lock Array and it did not come with that. It has a round one which is very uncomfortable and hard to use in that area. Thanks for the video.
Very helpful...I love your videos, they are always so easy to follow. Would it be possible for you to show us how to change the cutter blade? I accidentally loosened that screw and I don’t know how to realign the blade. Thanks
Hi Roseanne, thanks for reaching out. We recommend contacting your local Baby Lock retailer or if possible bringing in your machine for further assistance.
can you add or give a lesson on how to restore our thread table program and instructions for multi needle embroidery machines for there is no place on the Babylock website as the manual has instructed for us to do so
Great video. I just acquired a lightly used six needle machine. Is there any maintenance to be done on the frame carriage? Mine seems quite loud. Perhaps that’s just the way it is, but I wonder if there’s something to oil in the carriage?
Hi Shelly, thanks for reaching out to us. We recommend reaching to a Baby Lock retailer nearest you for more direction on maintenance for the six-needle machine. Here is a link to the retailer locator: bit.ly/2Cpi2Tn
My Babylock Alliance just sent sent "Safety Device has been activated. Motor is locked and won't budge. I clean and clean to keep in best shape possible. Can you give me any advise to get it going again to avoid costly shop costs?
Hi Susan- This generally means that the machine is jammed or tight. Please remove the needle plate and bobbin Case to see if there is thread locked up someplace. Otherwise, a Certified Technician would be able to take of that for you.
@@babylocksewing this happened to me today. I can see that there is a piece of the top thread stuck in the bobbin area. I can’t get it out! Any suggestions?
@@michellebarkemeyer4870 If you can't get it out with tweezers, we recommend taking it to your local Baby Lock retailer for a technician to look at to avoid any damage to your machine. It could be an easy fix for them, but don't want to cause any harm to the machine.
