I got the same colorway about one week ago. Like the shoes so far! I never owned the 1's but had the Rom 2's until the front sole came loose during split jerks.
@@TeamRICHEY so I accepted wearing expensive clown shoes with squatu logo nevertheless, to not have my toes crushed, only to have something this pretty drop just 3 months later that is just as wide. I'm rather bitter right now. Let's see some proper lifts in those and let's get your opinion man. I still think it's way over priced even if it ends up being better than Rom2.
Hey Craig, any update on these after a month or so of use? Curious if the force plate effects the rear foot on the catch of a jerk negatively or positively?
I am starting to want to purchase a pair of lifters. I was doing crossfit, but it's really Olympic lifting I enjoy the most. What would be a good beginner set? I've been doing my lifting in Metcons (Nobulls before that but the Nobulls were just way to narrow and made my bad ankle hurt any my feet unstable in lifting)
@@nlm1306 I might start on the cheaper side and see how much I think they make an impact. I know me, if I go expensive and like them i'll waste money and end up buying a spare pair
Nope, almost every brand has them in a (marathon) running shoe. There are some rules though, it can only be one plate, shoes have to be available for purchase (so no prototypes in competition) and a few more :) But it's pretty much the standard for the elite long distance runners
This video was related to another I watched about weightlifting shoes. As I'm new to this, I'm watching all I can to learn. It took 3 full minutes to learn that you're "favorite" shoe is made in China. Why push a product from a country run by an oppressive communist government headed by a ruthless, genocidal dictator? You're working yup to 1/2 a million subscribers so it's not as if the CCP is sponsoring your video. Why do this?
It's always easier to get up and train after watching these videos. I wish I had half the positivity and fun as you guys.
Good on you Jas for entering the #OPEN. It will be fun....
Thanks for review and comparison.
I hope you do some updates on these Craig as I'm thinking of buying them but want to hear impressions from users over some time
All the stuff about the shoes sound well and good, but how does it do with reverse movement technology?
How about picking up a pair of TYR lifting shoes. They were specifically designed with a wider toe box.
I tried them, the toe box is no different, it actually felt tighter on the front of my foot
What’s the playlist in the background. There are some bangers on there!
What a fire playlist you were listening to when training!! Is it on Spotify?

I see in your most recent vids you are using the Anta 1's. Do you like them more than the 2's?
Id be buying that album for sure, what an absolute stunner on the cover 😂
Great soundtrack: All Time Low - Dear Maria, Count Me In, Blink-182 - Dammit, Blink-182 - First Date. Appreciated.
Where did you buy romaleos 2?
As soon as I saw Craig doing the squat I instantly thought I should start doing some
Super high tech for sure. As a super novice weight lifter, I just want a wide toe box.
They’re wide enough, I tried the TYR ones and they’re literally no different
@@TeamRICHEY oooooooh, great to know. Thanks!

@@abadran8174 a) go lift and use your gear and be grateful b) resale market exists.
Reebok legacy lifter are wide
Have you tried Nike's Legacy lifters?
It might just be the camera, but those shoes look tiny. What size do you wear?
The music in the gym was on point today!! #elderemo #emosnotdead
Did you take the same size as your romaleos 2?
what size are you in the roms 2 and anta 2?
Hey Craig, any update on these after a month or so of use? Curious if the force plate effects the rear foot on the catch of a jerk negatively or positively?
Probably does, since none of the Chinese team split jerk
Personally I think only squat jerking is stupid but who am i
Love you guys Love being a Legend and LETS GO JAS #OPEN
Mine arrive in about 7-10 days!
How do you feel about the width of the toebox, comparing the Anta 2 with version 1 and the Rom 2's?
Those 3 shoes are similar in width I’ve found
The wide toe from TYR are sickkkk!!!
Cheaper materials, straps included. Heel can bend which is a no no. Overhyped and over expensive
@teamrichey how do they fit, compared to the old Antas?
The same!
Is there any good website to buy these from?
I’ve been struggling to find one 😂
And when it comes to the sizing, is it similar to the romeleo 2?
I use the same size on both

Nike Romaleos 4 or if you want to spend a little less, Nike Savaleos

Huanhua is such an epic weightlifter.
I feel like Craigh has a similar build to him, neither have particularly long legs or torso.
Where did you purchase them?
Workout.eu
Link to buy the shoe please? Thank you
aliexpress
I'm looking for Romalaoes 2's in Mens UK9.5 if anyone has any leads 🤙
Thank you for the brief review Richey!
I entered the discount code and the total did not change. Am I doing it wrong? #Gifted-CR22
Just CR22
@@TeamRICHEY that one worked, still have the bitter aftertaste from that price though LOL.
Thank you Richey
Didn't the plates get banned in running shoes?

My bad. I was thinking specifically of the Nike Vaporfly that got banned back in 2020.
Carbon fiber insoles like the vktry brand let's you make all your footwear carbon fiber feel
No love for the Reebok legacy lifter series? No one wants the legacy lifter 2s or the new 3s?
Compared to Antas.... well, nah!
Cool
I've seen these in person. They're sick.
We’re the romaleos4
Anta 1 is just a Romaleo 2.
Mmmm parcels.
looks like a joke. You see Kuo Hsing Chun win the world champion in wood shoes, so come on....
Wood shoes ??
i dont think i could look at antas the same after xiojun got popped for steroids
