Good doctors would tell you the thing they prioritizes the most are morals: they could tell you the best solution for you is to cut your leg, but if that is not what you want they would try their best to give another solution based on your feelings using facts and logic or try to convince you to cut your leg.
Like Dr. House said: "You rather have a doctor that ignores you while you get better or a doctor that takes your hand while you are dying?" That is the most pragmatic view of medicine and if a doctor loses a patient of course would drain his emotions too. They seem distant, but they also have feelings to be considered.

I’m a medical student and I strongly believe this as well. People have the right to believe whatever they want about themselves but some of us have to stick to reality. Like it or not your genes dictate your gender. You can identify as whatever gender you like but you can’t force others to identify you the same way.

I know someone who transitioned from female to make in it's ruined her life completely. She absolutely regrets it and feels she shouldn't have been encouraged by the medical profession to transition .She has become a recluse. This is an extremely dangerous ideology. I am so thankful for the brave souls who stand against it.

"84% of young trans people are either self-harming or attempting suicide." Direct quote from this video from the ladyboy. That statistic is alarming in itself. It's safe to say they are depressed. But if you take the word "trans" out of that sentence, the only thing that changes is the amount of young people. There are many forms and causes of depression, which is a huge contributor to someone who wants to harm themselves and/or take their own life. If a person suffers from depression, they are usually prescribed medicine to help them cope with the chemical imbalance in their brain. Trans or not, if you're depressed, you're depressed. These "trans" people are not getting the help they need. They are in a dark and fragile state of mind and the last thing any of them need is a doctor who enables this mind frame and agrees that gender re-assignment is the answer above all else. Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder and should be treated as such. Hormone Replacement Therapy and genital mutilation is not the answer.
A docter stands for curing people, NOT to help. And thats is a difference people need to understand right now!

Because the truth matters, Eamonn. It's the only thing that matters, in fact. I don't want to live in a society that has deceived itself so much that it no longer recognises the difference between truth and falsity. What is the truth you might ask? Well, in this case, the truth is that there are two sexes - male and female - and one cannot become the other. Ever!
