    How do you syn multiple Novostella strips together so the auto on/off feature works on all of them?
    We installed 6 - %2ft strips around the outside of our home & we can't get them to sink together because the bluetooth feature doesn't reach all of them simultaneously???

    When I started hanging these, my plug and controller hit the pavement. When I plugged back in, the lights just flash white and remote won’t change anything. And ideas on how to fix?

    Do you know if Novastella is a Chinese company or if Novastella as a middleman and contracts to a Chinese manufacturer, assuming the product is made in China?

    Do you have recommendation for a waterproof LED strip that has the capability of having selectable Individual light colors that show simultaneously? peppermint for example?

      Oye that’s pretty hard! You’d need addressable strips but even those don’t have individuals in most cases. Wyze makes some good ones but not waterproof. Check Govee?

    I wish they made a solar version, to get any kind of brightness with outdoor rope lights above dim "fairy lights" you need either a kind that comes with a battery you need to constantly replace or plug-in ones that require an outdoor plug, maybe extension cords and all that. Some strand with a small solar collector on them simply won't do the trick, nowhere near enough power.
    Trying to do ambient lighting around a border like a garden bed or walkway where you want to conceal the source but make a sort of "glow" around the border isn't going to work with anything solar powered unless you have one of these portable solar panels (expensive) to power a conventional plug-in rope. You're just not going to get enough power to run bright enough lights

      They can be daisy chained together. Each end has a connector to connect into another strip! :)

    Lights are cool, but the app is useless. Magic Lantern is the app. Worked the first day now I haven't been able to connect. The schedule doesn"t work and you can't upload your own music to sync with the lights. The app makes these lights kinda useless. Also needs more color schemes and holiday presets. I already spent 2 hours putting 105 ft around my house so they are staying. To bad gobee didn't have there lights in stalk. Don't trust the youtube reviews they get them for free. I feel like I wasted money on these.

      Oh goodness. Very sorry to hear about your experience Henry. Luckily apps can be improved upon. My review is of the lights and features shown in the review - if you were expecting more that it doesn’t have I’m sorry. Luckily Amazon had a great return policy here. For our purposes at my church we love these lights and they’ve been very reliable. 👍

    It ONLY becomes waterproof with the silicone sleeve. The LEDs inside the sleeve are NOT waterproof. Drawback is condensation getting into the sleeve in time. LEDS have a 50,000 hour lamp life (almost 6 years) but WHY do manufacturers ONLY offer a 90 day to 1 year warranties??? Something to think about Thanks for your videos

      @@TheNetGuy Awesome, I always like to followup on someones posts to see how the product is holding up!!!! Im debating in WHAT company to choose.There are not really alot out there for outside? Another top contender is GOVEE but $$$$$$ and they do not have long runs. I think longest is 32 feet. Wouldnt work for my application. Im interested in purchasing these lights Question? Can they be cut? Thanks again for getting back to me Much appreciated

    • @TheNetGuy
      @TheNetGuy  2 года назад +4

      Yep, definitely can be cut but you have to use the silicon to seal it. We were able to get 90 degree bends in about a 4” radius without cutting.

    That cheesy bluish cool white and and lack of warm white varieties just shows that the LEDs are cheap. Too bad. This kid could have been promising.
