I love all of these so much. Your new line is awesome and I can’t wait to buy all of it. I really, really love your junk journal. It is exactly my style. I could sit and watch you create for hours and hours. Thank you so much for sharing.
Kristine, thank you so much. I truly appreciate you and your kind comment. I'm delighted that you're enjoying my videos. I really enjoy making them, so it's a win-win, as they say. Thanks again for watching!
I just love watching your videos and your process of creating. You're voice is so soothing and you're always so calm. Thanks for sharing your talents and your junk journal! Very inspiring! xo
Thank you Anne, so very much. I hear that a lot about my voice, so thank you. Having a good microphone helps me not "project" too much, which is more soothing I think. Thanks for watching today. I'm glad you were inspired.
You have such a talent for collaging! I wish that could be taught, but I'm afraid it's something you have or don't have ... and you definitely have it! Thanks for this video.
Thanks so much Debbie. I may have a bit of an eye for it, but honestly I think anyone can do it with a little inspiration from Pinterest and watching others on RUclips. I love to peruse Pinterest, see an idea, and put my own spin on it.
Hello from New Zealand. I recently found you on u tube and really enjoy watching you create things for your journal. I love the ideas you share with us. Everyone seems to have different ways of doing creative items. You are a great artist and teacher, thank you for sharing your ideas with us. 🦉🌹
Great video, Annette!!! Loved to hear about the women's college. Even though it was a long video, I like coming along while you craft. Thank you and take care.
I’ll have to check out that shop next time I’m in that neck of the woods. Great finds! Your videos have such calm energy while being incredibly informative. Thank you!
Oh My I love your Ideas , and how you present them! How do you keep all your ,little pieces ,come together in one lovely idea for a decoration in our Junk Journals.
I just discovered your channel. I absolutely love it. I am just now learning about junk journals and you have some beautiful beautiful journals and imagine my surprise when watching this video and you show the yarn from Lily Mills . I live in Shelby, North Carolina and it just amazed me to see that yarn in a video. Lily is a long ago textile that is a thing of our past. Such great history to see and in such pristine shape on your video.❤
Fabulous video! Enjoyed it very much, the crafting, the history, the tips. It’s like I’m sitting right there with ya playing….. which I miss, by the way.
Lovely! The videos are never too long. I can pause and come back to finish them if needed. Miss Tennessee’s pose looks like she is part of a knife-throwing act. 😂
What cool vintage finds. I love the story behind the yearbook from the women’s college. The description for the one term that stated “not repulsive looking” I think it was…….wow! Still love the history of all the items. Your collages and pieces for your junk journal were awesome! I just received a some of the stamps and dies from your new collection and they are lovely. Not able to play with them just yet but hopefully soon once my finger heals a bit more. Thanks so much! 🥰
Thanks Belinda. I'm glad to hear you appreciated that. I'm delighted with that yearbook, but yes, pretty funny. I'm just glad we women have come so far that this kind of thing is a humorous look at the past. Hope your finger heals quickly. Crafty accident?
Thanks so much. Making the actual book is fun and easy. And the filling it up is extra fun, because it just keeps on going. You can add to it continuously (or at least until the journal doesn't close anymore!)
You made fantastic art with your antique findings along with your fabulous new collection! But I had to chuckle as you were showing all the “junk” supplies you got, thinking about what my husband would’ve said after bringing it all home from the antique store. Nevertheless, it was very inspiring!
Wow! I never got into the junk journal process (always seemed to be a little too grungy, for my liking). But your bright and cheerful colors are beautiful! I must give this a try! But first, April dashboard in my planner! And no, the videos are never too long 😀
Thank you Anne. There's never just one way to do a junk journal and I have to remind myself of this often. If you like color, do color! I hope you eventually give it a try. It's fun and it's one of those projects you can continuously work on and add to.
Absolutely loved this video Annette! I love the longer ones too and appreciate the time you put into them! The little clusters are beautiful really loved the graduation book and next to Miss Tennessee Stanton was Miss Grace Lancaster! Don’t think there’s any connection there! 🥰 Thank you for such a fab video! 💗
Thank you so much Annette I really really enjoyed watching you create all of these amazing and inspiring pieces for your junk journal. I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤❤❤ everything that you’ve created today. I really love ❤Nellie, and the last one with the flowers in the Envelope too. They are all so cute and adorable too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤ don’t apologise for how long it takes, it never seems long at all. I’m going to save this for future reference too
thank YOU Mags! I appreciate your wonderfully kind comments all the time, and I'm thrilled you're enjoying my projects and videos. Thanks for being here!
Thanks. I imagine it will take me years to slowly fill it completely. I tend to enjoy just lovingly working on something to put into it here and there. No rush to finish. That's the beauty of this type of journal for me. Sort of like an art journal.
I love your pieces. Im not crafting as much as I'd to like right now cause I'm adjusting to a new med for my diabetes. My insurance wont cover the med that was working for me and I'm having to try something different that makes me quite tired. Hopefully tgere will be a better one that my system likes. I love paper crafting and am planning to be in a craft show at ine of my local senior centers. I love color too. I was just thinking ofvthst as i watched a video that was mostly tone on tone. Dont get me wrong, cause it was very well done and so creative.
Ooh! I just found your channel and loved this video! I am in Rutherfordton, NC. Shelby is only 25 minutes from me! What a haul with the labels and yarn! 🥰
Hey there! Welcome! These were indeed some great finds. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks and see if there's something new waiting for me. Thanks for watching!
Glad you like them! I design for Elizabeth Craft Designs, so you can always find my paper collections on their website (ecraftdesigns.com) or at your local scrapbook store.
What a great haul!!! "Ideal woman" I think I laughed out loud when you mentioned the title. I can just imagine the content on that page. My girls would be in stitches over that one. A great variety of fillers on the video. Was happy to stick with you every step of the way. I'm curious about the junk journal. Will you actually journal in it? or just keep it as a piece of art? I love it so far. I hope you will share more.....oh.....and that collection..... I need to have it!
Pretty hilarious, right? Thanks for hanging in there for the whole thing. At this point, I don't know if I'll journal in it or just make "pretties" in it until it bursts. LOL. I'm so happy you like my collection, Celine. Thanks for being here again. ❤
4 great projects Annette! I love them all! Just when I think they look perfect, you add a little something extra which puts it over the top. Great eye for detail! Question: where do you get your shrink paper for use with the mini pancake maker?
Thanks so much Marie. That means a lot! I got all my shrink film on Amazon, but it can be found in many hobby stores and WalMart, etc. Did you happen to catch my video on making shrink charms and embossing with the pancake maker?
When I was in Elementary School in Kansas, every Tuesday we could bring a dime or more and buy a stamp for our book, and when we had about $4.50 we could buy a US Savings Bond. Lovely! The videos are never too long. I can pause and come back to finish them if needed. Miss Tennessee’s pose looks like she is part of a knife-throwing act. 😂
(Literally laughed out loud!) Yes, she does look that way. I thought it was an odd pose myself. Thanks for watching today and giving me a good laugh.

Thanks for the hearts!
Paper with the music notes is called printed vellum. They also make it plain and in colors.
Thanks
Where in Wisconsin did you find your goodies? Love them all and want to go on a road trip :-)
The name of the store was Sugar Creek Antiques and it was in New Berlin
When I was in Elementary School in Kansas, every Tuesday we could bring a dime or more and buy a stamp for our book, and when we had about $4.50 we could buy a US Savings Bond. I bought several when I was in School. about 1950. You might double check to see how many stamps it took to fill the book and then buy a US Savings Bond.
It's just so cool to have something from back then. Thanks Doris for watching.
