had a stroke last summer and lost the use of my dominant hand. i figured i'd never papercraft again. :( started watching more of your videos and actually got excited to try again. i even had my son pull out my sewing machine yesterday and tried making paper ruffles (really bad at first but it got better as i kept on.) now i can't wait to pull out a stack of envelopes to make some of these! thanks, natasha, for the inspiration to re-evaluate my skills as a one handed gal and get back to my obsession with junk journals and paper crafting!
A terrible stroke of fate that initially makes you sad, frustrated and desperate. I admire your courage and strength to stand up to it and try to master life with one hand. A great task and a blessing that you still have a capable hand. Paper crafting also often helps me to escape my depression. I am so grateful for that. It's such a versatile, creative job that fortunately doesn't require a lot of money, space or utensils. I hug you, dear "girl with one hand" (But that's not all you are! You are much more!), send you love and confidence and lots of joy in rediscovering crafting, mastering it anew and the patience you will need. How wonderful that you still have a hand with which you can achieve everything again that you have long been able to do with your dominant hand. Best wishes from the German Baltic coast 🌾💙🐚
@@MonaLisa-xc5dm thank you so much for your love and encouragement! i was super depressed before the stroke and think that had a good amount to do with bringing it on. you keep playing with paper, ya hear me? we all need those little creative wins! sending all the best wishes right back to you!

Seeing just the beginning of this video, I woke up, got a wish and will power and I will start now, just now. I can’t wait. I have so many envelopes from different hotels and some, like from Old Palace hotel in Dubai are just stunning. By the way I stayed in three quite luxurious hotels in Italy this summer and there were no letter pads nor envelopes. Saving after corona! Too bad! Thank you so much.
Thanks, Natasa, for another inspiring video! 💝 A couple of years ago, I started watching your videos, and they inspired me to get back into crafting and create journals, which helped me fight against burnout and improve my mental health. I see that you put a lot of effort into making the best videos for us, and I wanted to say that I really appreciate that. 🤗 I hope you have a lovely weekend with your family. 🙏 Love from Brazil. 🇧🇷💚

I am just wowed 😮😊 at what you can do and how they turn out beautiful. Love the double thread 🧵!! Something I will try. Thread 🧵 and envelopes ✉️ thank you again 💕
Perfect little make along project for the end of a day off that got hijacked by must-do's. I did the first little pocket using just-saved envelopes from Mom's birthday cards and created a spot in my journal for it while you made the rest. You asked for other ideas, so: I don't remember seeing it in any other videos of yours (or anyone else) but the first junk journal I made, back in about 2010, the instructor had us create a whole string of small envelopes that pulled out, all attached to each other by their flaps. Very interactive. It was a 6 day polymer clay doll workshop, the journal being a second project in which to collect memorabilia of the experience, so the envelopes held little ephemera from field trips, meals, or silly games we played or funny things people said.
Honestly, going op shopping with you would be the most fun!! I dont know anyone else who gets as excited about junk than you, me & most of this community. Can they not see the potential!? Thank you for another brilliant and creative video ❤
So glad you’re back Natasha! Love all your wonderful ideas for envelopes they’re brilliant, and I have tonnes of them! I was wondering if the gold foil tubing you used had any packaging with them when you got them? I don’t think they’re survival blankets as they’re black lined and tubes and look thickish, the blankets are thin, flat and foiled both sides? 🤔🤔xx

A while ago, you made some lovely small wallets and purses with plastic bags, that you ironed together. I wondered - have you ever thought of making handbags, clutch bags or cross-body bags with melted/ironed plastic bags? I've bee saving plastic bags for ages and might give that a go soon. Thank you for your brilliant tutorials I always look forward to seeing your new creations. Take care, and have a wonderful week ahead. xx❤❤😊😊

I absolutely adore you! And how lucky am I? I just scored two packets of mismatched envelopes at the thrift store for 50¢ each. 😁 You have given me so much inspiration and so many ideas on what to do with them. ❤️
Brimming...Brimming...! Every idea is just filling my head with more ideas. I have been searching on people's channels for years. Great tool. The stitch at 44:25m is called 3 step zig zag. It's original use is on stretch fabrics to catch all areas of the fabric so it will stretch still but it is very securely sewn. I love all 6 examples here. Brilliant!! As ever!!
They are all amazingly beautiful! My favourite is your least favourite 😂 I just love the two inner pocket flaps - so clever. Thanks again Natasa for sharing your creativity with us ❤
❤ I'm inspired. The interesting bit for me is you open my mind beyond art journals, I see my world differently and make and use more than my art supplies to improve and color my life. I love art journals more after each of your videos but I really like how you've helped expand my mind beyond art journals.
Natasha, thank you for the wonderful video. One quick tip on using embossing folders...run them through the machine hinge end first or sideways if you have to. This orientation reduces the likelihood that you end up with 2 pieces of embossing folder instead of one folded piece!
No I didn't know where the search button is for ind you tubers. Thanks for showing us. I've just made 2 tea themed journals using 3 envelopes after watching Janet Nash's tutorial. I love them.
Miss Natasa, I never knew about that search button. Now I can use it wherever I need to search for whatever. Thank you so much for that tip, I really do appreciate it, because I am not a computer whiz. When I was in school you had to go to the library and do your research through books. That lets you know how old I am🤣 (older than dirt). Every one of these envelope projects are absolutely beautiful and amazing at the same time. You create the most interesting journals with so many different items and I absolutely love them all. Thank you so much for sharing and God Bless you and your family. As for making one or two of these I will have to get some envelopes or maybe use the returns from the bills or what not. 🥰💖🦮💖🦮💖⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
😍Such a great variety what to do with envelopes! Love it! Thank you 🙏 so much for showing us the different ideas. And yes, the search option, with key words, is very helpful 👍 to find something much quicker amongst hundreds of videos.

Love all of these ideas dear so creative 💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much 😊
😍Such a great variety what to do with envelopes! Love it! Thank you 🙏 so much for showing us the different ideas. And yes, the search option, with key words, is very helpful 👍 to find something much quicker amongst hundreds of videos.
Thanks so much! 😊
This is wonderful! I made prototypes and instructions the second time I watched. Thank you for sharing and bless your talents!
Oh your mind always blows me away. You do so many different ways we can create. It is simple once you show me but I sure wouldn't be able to come up with all of those. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with all of us❤❤
I am always inspired by you Natasa! Thank you so much for showing us, and I did not know about the search we can do, thanks for that, I would never have found it on my own!! Have a wonderful weekend and please give Banjo kisses from me!!
I love your clean, refreshing style. I know you tear, coffee(tea )dye and edge but the final look is always neat and pristene, in my eyes. Totally your uniqueness! I enjoy your hands.😊 I know, I'm shallow because I simply can't watch fat, stubby fingers or dirty nails. I never feel like im missing any other crafter's ideas ... you've got that covered!! No end to your imagination and how it inspires me!❤ And yesh, your voish is shometimes sooo rediculoushly funny!!😂 (was that even close??)
I always love the house motif. Thanks for the reminder about the search button on individual channels.

❤My dear neighbour ❤ Every day I check for a new video from you, the genius has been at it again. I don't have very many envelopes but I have a full size stencil of an envelope I found in Albury. ( Vic - N.S.W. border), thinking of making my own wondow envelopes too, then I can use them for my books. Much love and cuddles Banjo ❤❤🇭🇲📚✂️
