Does anyone know how to keep your digital speed display up without lane departure and cruse control radar alerts always popping up? You always have to press OK for it to go away only for an alert to pop up again every 10 seconds later
I want to turn the lane assist off permanently,, how can I do that, I turn it off, its default position is on every time I start up., its extremely dangerous to try and turn off while driving and it takes an age to boot up the screen at startup.
Unfortunately at the moment you can't permanently turn it off, I believe it has something to do with the safety rating. (most modern cars default back to on at every restart of the vehicle) You need to manually turn it off before driving.
@@greatideasworthsharing thank you for the responses. This really helped. I don't think the competition has one touch up down on top of range models. If they do, the bakkie segment has really moved up since I last checked. Wondering if there's a way of retrofitting a good AC because I've asked around and people concur with you on the AC issue. Thank you again.
Hey mate, at 0:24 seconds after you hit the 'Ok' button a red exclamation mark pops up in a triangle above the speedometer and trip data, next to the green lane assist light. What does this red warning light indicate?
Its a alert warning which means the car is telling me something needs to be looked at. There are a large number of alerts so it depends on the situation what it is alerting you about. Usually an instruction will flash on the display in the dash to tell you.
Hey thanks for the reviews I get mine next week! Hey that microphone on the dash you have I assume that's an extra? Did you need that> as in the carphone built in is not as good quality ?
I think you are referring to my magnet phone holder. The microphone for the multimedia system however isn't as good as the one on the phone but acceptable.
I don't believe it will do a complete stop then start again in traffic but due to covid19 lockdowns I've not actually been in any real traffic jams to test.
@@wilsonnw it has two settings. One works on the car in front and maintains the distance set by the driver. And it also runs a tja (traffic jam assist) where it gauges the surrounding traffic speed also and adjusts to that as well as the car in front. But in both modes it will come to a complete stop on its own. Just gotta press the accelerator to get it moving again and then it takes back over. Not sure re the Hyundai system, only relaying what my cannon does.
@@brucezhan208 drive both. It’s no comparison. I was fully set to buy the T60 after having an ldv van for a few years u til I drove them both and started seeing reviews and car mag tests etc. I doubt anyone would buy the T60 after driving the cannon.

If you hold down OK while driving, you can use the menu apparently

Thanks much. This was helpful. Do the windows have auto up down feature and how effective is the aircon in very hot weather?
The limited has electric windows all around but only the drivers is one touch up/down. The X version has one touch up down for all 4 windows.
Oh and aircon could be a little more powerful in the summer but its not terrible.

You can get in the menu by holding the ok button for about 3-5 seconds while driving.
Thank you, I knew there had to be a way.
Hey, have you discovered what the minimum speed for the radar cruise control is? Will it push itself through stop start traffic from 0 kph?
I don't believe it will do a complete stop then start again in traffic but due to covid19 lockdowns I've not actually been in any real traffic jams to test.
It’ll do any speed down to a full stop. Once stopped you gotta press resume or tap the pedal to get moving again and then it comes back on
@@trevorrogers8289 just like the Hyundai system? (Drove Genesis that behaved that way)

do you recommend this car to buy?
Yes, I'm very happy. Its a solid 8/10 for me and the few things I think need improving aren't enough to not buy.

If you push the parking brake down. The car will move without you having to put on the seat belt.
