Maybe it’s just me but the layout of this remote frustrates me. Don't watch this if you are easily triggered. Yes, it is a first world problem and I'm sorry if posting things like this rather than the other views is not to your liking BUT it seemed relevant and worth sharing.

I keep pocket setting off the alarm on mine. Thinking about disabling the button.
Safety feature your not supposed to be distracted while making a turn and when you have told the car your about to turn that’s how it is
does anyone know how to put gwm ute into neutral?
The GWM seems more SUV like , where as the LDV Appears more truck like , so depending on your needs & desires, the GWM is more plush & comfortable & more car like .
I picked the LDV t60 max over the Great Wall a few reason’s however one of them was I didn’t like the grill on the Great Wall it seemed to me chubby looking lol or tubby I just yeah loathed that phat look about it But each to their own

Aside from the features & gadgets you might get that may persuade a buyer 😮 the slow motion crash test comparison clearly shows the Greatwall is much more advanced on an engineering level. The T60 is not in the same league. It distorts & crumples alot more 😮 yeah I was surprised
What type of tow bar do you have factory or aftermarket

Does anyone know how to keep your digital speed display up without lane departure and cruse control radar alerts always popping up? You always have to press OK for it to go away only for an alert to pop up again every 10 seconds later. Very annoying.

If you hold down OK while driving, you can use the menu apparently
Is there somwhere to hang the fuel cap while filling?

Having driven a late model Ranger on a couple of long trips lately, im more than happy the LDV deletes lane change BS. The tugging on the steering makes driving it very uncomfy. As far as looks go, the GW would be ok if the clown nose was deleted off the front and the LDV to me looks more modern by far so that ones easy points for LDV. The most powerful over the least powerful... LDV again. I found the quality form and function of the LDV interior far nicer than previous Ranger so not sure what the narrators issues are there. BTW the adaptive cruise is a dbl edge sword, for country hwy, simply no need for it really. It can be ok in city bumper traffic but try paying attention. Personally i simply couldnt buy the least powerful ute on the market but im sure they will fix that by the next model.

Just done a trip towing 3.5 ton triple axle trailer tow really well same trip in colarado used over half tank my cannon used just over quarter and 3/4 hr off trip very impressed on bug bear would be the lane assist I turn it off going to look in to having it disabled permanent as it a bloody nuisance when driving
Looks like the trailer is filled with cardboard boxes. My nannas VW Polo can tow that trailer.

How is the ride quality with the 20inch wheels?
I've had the 20inch rims since day one and can't really say much considering I only did a 20 minute test drive on the standard rims. It seems acceptable to me.
What did you have to compare to I have a 2.0 amarok thoughts
I used to have a 2 ltr VW Amarok a number of years back. I loved that ute as it drove like a car. I went into an SUV for a few years before coming out and buying the GWM. The VW build quality is impressive and the V6 performance is class leading until the new generation Amarok/Ranger combo came out.
I want to turn the lane assist off permanently,, how can I do that, I turn it off, its default position is on every time I start up., its extremely dangerous to try and turn off while driving and it takes an age to boot up the screen at startup.
Unfortunately at the moment you can't permanently turn it off, I believe it has something to do with the safety rating. (most modern cars default back to on at every restart of the vehicle) You need to manually turn it off before driving.

I didn't, not yet. I keep thinking about it and then forget as 90% of the time I don't really need it.

The limited has electric windows all around but only the drivers is one touch up/down. The X version has one touch up down for all 4 windows.
Oh and aircon could be a little more powerful in the summer but its not terrible.
@@greatideasworthsharing thank you for the responses. This really helped. I don't think the competition has one touch up down on top of range models. If they do, the bakkie segment has really moved up since I last checked. Wondering if there's a way of retrofitting a good AC because I've asked around and people concur with you on the AC issue. Thank you again.

What do you mean the car doesn't do anything without your seat belt on?
Thanks for showing us. How hot does it get over there and does the aircon cope in heat? A lot of the Australian reviews are unfortunately in cold weather so it's difficult to gauge.
The a/c performance is one of my concerns as well and I'm also having trouble finding a review conducted on a normal Aussie hot summer day.
@@angeladoughty9611 wish we could have reviews on these bakkies in normal weather. All reviews seem to be done in cold weather which doesn't help us much.

Yeah, that little ding, I still have no idea how that got there. 22inch wheels would be a nightmare, mine are 20.

DO NOT BUY!!! did a tranny and 2 starter motors in first 3 weeks ldv head office and dealership would not work together to get issue solved, head office blamed dealership, dealership blamed head office, after about 90 emails and phone calls eventually got my money back from the rude pricks
I've had my LDV for 6 months and it's been fine. No issues at all
Which model/year/transmission ?
How is it with the park button on top of the gear shifter? I have heard some complaints saying it’s easy to hit by accident when touching the radio knobs and accidentally resting hand on the park button? Do you notice this? Is this a concern when travelling at speed? Even low speeds ?
I've not once had that same problem in the almost 2 years I've now owned it.

No petrol. Diesel only for this bakkie.
Mine is a diesel. Here in NZ we have the base which I think is the LS and then mine is a limited and then they have the Cannon X which is the next model up.
Just brought a Cannon X , love the videos brother 👍🏾
Yeah, the X is just that little more refined and I'm sure it has better spring/suspension settings.
