Superstar. Makes me wonder just what that is. Someone the industry dresses up to do their bidding or someone who makes music for themselves and shares it with the world. She has done a lot outside of strictly music, with voice acting and actor acting. The judges were awful to her throughout the competition. American Idol lost all credibility for me when Haley was voted off. She's clearly the most diverse and talented singer that's ever been on Idol.

Come on, it´s a scripted, directed and produced tv show, it´s entertainment that brings in money to the network that shows it. Its all bout the money. Haley is on such a high vocal level that most people can´t understand her skill set anyway, that is the nature of the beast with todays music listeners. They want musical "fast food" and that´s what they get.
They weren't judging her. They were deliberately sabotaging her at the behest of the show's producers. Nonetheless, in the end they all miserably failed. As it was the almost unlimited power voting that American Idol permitted, as opposed to one vote per individual voting, that caused Haley to be ripped off.

@@Jeweleye62 Oh Casey Abrams was excellent! Such a great and interesting guy tbh. Season 10 was in general, an extremely talented and diverse season which I loved. He's for sure in the top five, but I definitely wanted Haley to win, she was my absolute favorite, and I desperately wanted a finale with her and James Durbin, that would've fucking SLAPPED.

Haley has more talent in her pinky than JLo or Randy could even dream of having. And they judge her?...absurd.
Come on, it´s a scripted, directed and produced tv show, it´s entertainment that brings in money to the network that shows it. Its all bout the money. Haley is on such a high vocal level that most people can´t understand her skill set anyway, that is the nature of the beast with todays music listeners. They want musical "fast food" and that´s what they get.
They weren't judging her. They were deliberately sabotaging her at the behest of the show's producers. Nonetheless, in the end they all miserably failed. As it was the almost unlimited power voting that American Idol permitted, as opposed to one vote per individual voting, that caused Haley to be ripped off.

I really liked Steven Tyler as a judge. Seems like he was really having a good time and has a passion for music. He was also very encouraging too.
Steven Tyler made an effort to be encouraging. His father was a music teacher in his later years. His father was also the son of a music teacher. He died in September of 2011.

Haley loved jazz even then. She was the first person to ever sing with her high school's accomplished jazz band. They performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. She studied jazz at Harper college and performed with the college's Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Lab.
I still don't understand why she isn't a huge megastar. I know she is having a decent career singing at smaller venues, but she should be a megastar.

What a great year that was for Idol - surely it's apogee.. Scotty, Lauren, Casey, and yes, Haley, who got better as the series went on.

That song called "Don't Know How to Love You" will obviously become a very big hit song for Haley when it is released to the radio waves this coming January and per her manager, the whole album is filled with very iconic songs very similar to that one.
If true, that album will launch Haley all the way up into the big time of music artists. In fact, her manager is hoping for several Grammy nominations from that album. Which will not be until the 2020 Grammys because the album is being released too late for this year's Grammy Awards. I hope he is right, we'll see soon enough.

If you actually pay attention you can see she actually has improved her technique and control a lot. She had potential and she capitalized on it.
