That was a superb instructive video, no speeded up nonsense, and no stupid music......i need to change the flapper on mine, but got confused on the reassembly part of the video, with all the marks more marking and shifting back and forth? ,,,,,just asking.if i was to take my one apart and put locating marks on every item that i removed and then reassembled them exactly as they came off with the locating marks matching, would that work? many thanks
Any ideas on how to free a seized brass ring? My grinder casing set (brass ring threaded to the aluminum piece) is seized solid. I've tried soaking it in Cafiza with boiling water, ultrasonic cleaner solution, freezing....nothing has worked. After dealing with this issue, I can't stress enough how important it is to lubricate this part. Mahlkonig recommends Klüber Paste, but it's eye-watering expensive.
Thanks for the video! I have this machine at my shop, and even though I have changed the flapper and burrs, I still seem to get quite a bit of clumping. I noticed that Mahlkonig also sells a metal flapper as well...is this an upgrade or a certain advantage to the silicone one?
