Station 50 as well as mutual aiding companies responded to a reported dwelling fire on Byerland Church Rd. Engine 502 arrived with smoke showing, and crews took a line inside to knock down the fire. The fire was in an Amish house, so there was some difficulties with getting the residents out and making them stay out. Crews opened up the inside and checked for any extension, but didn't find any. After battling with the cold weather and all the ice on the ground, crews cleared after a few hours. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 1/6/17

The most dangerous part of structure fires isn't a possible backdraft or roof collapse, it that freakin ice! Haha! Awesome video man! Stay safe out there!

That’s why we always carry salt on our engine in the winter! First thing to come off the truck during these conditions.

I work with the EMS and on scene we have to walk like penguins, looks funny but it works!! Speaking of EMS where are they? We always get called out to fires even if there is just a spark!

Helmet cam firefighter? Are you a rookie who blocks the wheels and assist in other 'small' things? Or do you guys switch off duties? Been following you guys for awhile now and still can't tell who is who! I assume you are volunteers and thats one reason why? I'm sorry you feel that way, if only you understood a little bit about the fire department you would know that everything that I did in this video is an important part of the fire scene.
