FAQs-
Q: "Where is this?"
A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.
Q: "What is the spinning thing?"
A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
Q: "What camera are you using?"
A: For dash cams I use a GoPro Hero 7, helmet cam videos I use a FireCam 1080 - Авто/Мото
Hell yeah best way to start off the weekend with a ride along vid 😎

For real 😂

That is the fire department's own traffic van, they asked them to pass
@@justanotheraviator2357I don’t think there’s anything wrong with passing an emergency vehicle as an emergency vehicle
@@justanotheraviator2357 That most definitely was not the traffic van, that was Union Fire's ambo
Nice video as always!
How fast does Rescue 50 go? Amazing video and Rescue. Love the Q making noise with the powercall! ❤thanks for sharing
We pray no one was seriously hurt in that accident and everyone was okay. Lancaster, CA.
I would love to see a speedometer in the bottom corner of the video. Im curious on how fast you guys go sometimes.
2:59 there was a tractor😂never mind it was 2:58
That’s a one way street from the station but they do go left sometimes to get to that side road in the back of the station.
If necessary but most calls are from the right anyway
Dont you ever get calls turning left from the station?
I've seen a old video from him and yes.
Once or twice but not often
its a one was street
@@adame.8736 They'll still go against traffic even if it's a one-way road.
@@adame.8736emergency vehicles are allowed to break laws including signs that say “wrong way” and “do not enter”
😎👍
Why does everyone think this is California it's pennsylvania
This is the deep country side of PA.
This is the second time I've seen the Rescue pass an ambulance with lights flashing. Were these squads going to the same call as you or different ones?
Do you mean the union fire company unit that yielded way to Rescue 50 carrying all the extraction equipment?
@@Robert-cd2ht It said "Oxford Ambulance" on the back.
@@brucestambaugh Union fire company No. 1 Oxford PA, Emergency medical services. So this unit is responding from Oxford Chester county, Fire trucks have the equipment required to fight fires and extract people from accidents so it makes sense that they arrive on scene first. What is the issue?
@@Robert-cd2ht I asked if the passed ambulances were going to the same accidents. That's a question, not an issue.
I went back to look again. Rear lights set to flicker when brake is applied plus hazard lights. This unit was not responding
Weres the roto ray 😢
The camera placement is a little off, or the new Go-Pros are more zoomed in. It’s been missing on a couple of the more recent videos since he got new cameras.
Also, I believe you can hear it spin up as they pull onto the road at the start of the video.
But the main part it still spinning
I miss seeing the light up “fidget spinner” too.
@@garysakamoto4007you have to watch a nighttime response to see it especially in fog
Do yall ever have any actual bad crashes? Most of your videos are with the rescue but yall do very little rescuing..
Ever considered maybe they won't show bad crashes on RUclips for the world to see, out of respect to the victims?
@@Perseus7567 lammmee..
Who ever is driving made cruical mistake . The truck went to the right of traffic when going thru an intersection and never slowed down . The truck should of been going to the left of traffic and should of slowed down when gong thru the intersection.
They should call you to drive next time
Kudos to the experienced driver for assessing the situation saving critical time responding to an emergency situation.
Nahh the driver definitely knows what he’s doing I’ve been watching these videos for awhile

You need to know the intersection and the experience of the driver before you make a acquisition of the driving abilities of this driver and other drivers of this company.
