PD will arrive, get out of their vehicle which will be conveniently parked right where fire vehicles need to be and walk away from their vehicles………typical. I once asked a police officer that did that at a fire scene how much water his vehicle held, he responded “it’s a police car, we don’t have water” to which I told him exactly!!! Get out of the way
The guy filming in the median should be wearing a safety vest. As an active fire buff for 25 years, trust me, its better to be safe than sorry and proper gear is always important. Great video. stay safe.
How ignorant of people - it is a must that all vehicles yield to emergency vehicles and yet these people in their personal cars are either stuck in a traffic jam or are refusing to yield or move their vehicles out of the way of emergency vehicles - one has to think what would happen if the emergency these vehicles were responding to were on their behalf.
So half the combined PD and sherrif's department attend just to gawp, leaving just one deputy to do all the traffic control.
Alot of pd responded due to evacuation orders of the houses in the area

Agreed, what my chief tells us is "Where your safety vests and if you get hit its not your fault because you have your vests on"

Parking on railroad tracks seems like a really bad idea.
They call the railroad and have them shut the tracks down, just as an FYI.
Those tracks on middlefeild have been out of service for a long time

I eas a former VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER. On new construction its usually stored lumber and or some one torched the building.
The cause of the fire was somthing in the wall caught fire on the 5th floor of the building and spreaded due to all the gas from the torches
Nobody droppings supply lines
Units were already onscene i got their when the 5th alarm was struck
Theres no such thing as an 8th alarm fire
