First Due Attached Garage Fire *Helmet Cam*

- While taking a hazmat refresher course at the station, the pre alert was hit for a dwelling in the 50 first due. Members got their gear on, deinstalled the Truck (as it was about to be used for a decon scenario), and responded. The whole house had been dumped within 2 minutes of dispatch with full staffing on each rig (minus 1 in the rescue, but that's still 9 lol). Asst. 50 arrived with with a working garage fire, with Engine 54-2 right behind and Engine 502 pulling in behind them. Crews stretched several lines and laid 2 supply lines while the crews from the Rescue and Engine 54-1 arrived and sent their manpower up. The Tower arrived and went to work on the roof as several other units showed up from Willow Street, Lampeter, New Danville, and Blue Rock fire companies. The fire was out and the incident was put under control within 30-45 minutes of arrival, but if we wouldn't have been at the station and ready to go, the story might have been different. Also, allow your lawnmowers to cool off before placing them inside, as the heat coming off of them can start a fire if the conditions are right. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 5/29/18

Engine 502 is a 2010 Pierce Arrow XT.
Truck 50 is a 2003 Pierce Dash.
Engine 54-2 is a 2011 Pierce Impel PUC.

Even though I don’t work at a fire dept I’m still shocked that my fire department in the city and it’s I’m Attleboro mass in the city of Massachusetts they the main station of fire station no.1 but the vehicles are all no.1 I’m shocked that since they have new fire trucks all over Attleboro and much more such at Plainville and all that it’s that my fire station no.1 the fire trucks and ladder trucks hold 8 people in them fire engines and for the ladder 8 plus the back cause the ladder is a tiller ladder fire truck cool huh please respond and like my comment
