Nice to see you working on an old bike for a change, which is what I have......everything doesn't go as you would expect, it often becomes an adventure
Enjoyed this. Went through similar fun in the past. I actually had a swingarm bolt on a YZ85 I rebuilt that had such a step worn into it that I couldn't pound it out. Well, at the time, I didn't know the step was what was holding me up. I carefully cut it by hand with a hacksaw blade on both sides of the swingarm, knowing I was going to replace whatever needed replacing in that area. I swear it took what felt like half a day. In hindsight, it would have been easier to drill the alignment tab off and find a way to rotate the step to the other side or use an air hammer and hope to dislodge it. I like how you put it, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
pretty similiar, the engines are a bit different, but just remember how you parted everything out and make some pics to see where everything goes, and you should be set.
I found this from the Honda Grom series, but since it's older I figured I'd ask here.. can you all (if still taking requests/suggestions) take a 2022 model KLR 650 and try to just swap out however many parts you need to get good girl economy? The KLR 650 has a stereotype for being owned by cheapskates who are in love with their unkillable motorcycle, so how about seeing what can be done to still do ~80mph (or 70 mph at very lowest) BUT have a high mpg number? The USMC took some Kawasaki KLR 650s and slapped on Diesel engines and saw 90-100mpg *varied once loaded down. , So I'm curious to see what could be done on the consumer market to make a beloved bike into a VERY fuel efficient bike.
4:50 is literally every mechanic when they find something 😂

looking forward to this project!!!
Great video once again!
excellent job...I want a mechanic like you near my house
Need an air hammer and an old nut on that one stuck bolt. Curious, are you gonna put it on a wire wheel and reuse it or replace it?
Great video well done
Some WD-40 or oil would help to remove that rusted Swing arm Bolt.
🇮🇩 indonesian watching sir 🙏
You the man
Do you have anything on how to change the wet brake clutches on a yamaha kodiak 700
hello, what engine and transmission oil are you using?
Are 09 crf450r similar or does a lot change
Wheres the tyranny bearings not in kit or counter balance bearings ?or the bearing for the clutch lever
Is this much different from a 05 250r? If so could you do a video on a 250
