Yeah the dowels on mine were rusty. Anti seize is a must. Swingarm bolt was so rusted in I had to take out the shock, lower the swingarm and cut through the swingarm bearing tubes with an angle grinder. Thankfully the bolt is hollow, so I was able to split it with a rod saw and knock it out. Tough time.

I have a 2007 Honda CRF450R. On the front sprocket how do I know which side is out (away from engine)? I think it’s the raised side out so the spring washer can sit flat on it. Is that correct? TIA.
My last Honda dirt bike was air cooled, so we could not afford to " Beat on it" We had to take care of our equipment. Too bad this dude has abused this nice bike so much.
