You hit the nail on the head, Elliott! Tyler's looks like it is owned by a banker or Italian stock broker whereas yours epitomizes the flashy gregarious 'look at me' statement that appeals to a young man with a dream-car poster mounted to his wall. Both have their place but only one evokes excitement and motivation to work harder to make it big. Thanks for sharing--to you and Tyler.

You've got a good point. Unfortunately, the aftermarket is extremely limited because they made so few of the cars in the first place. So there just aren't really any 'cheaper' alternatives.
@@ElliottAlvis that's too bad... Though that suddenly reminds me how I'm watching another channel where this dude in Japan makes custom bike fairings out of cardboard mocks ups and fiber glass. Great video! I’ve had my Gran Sport since 2007 -> it’s a 2006. Stock GS horsepower is 396, up from 385. I have aftermarket rear Tubi exhaust and the Larini decats….and she screams. You can always bird dog Copart for a Coupe with a blown engine or body damage and strip the parts you need for the interior. However, the White car is probably the better car to live with. You don't worry about car dings, and a clutch is so under appreicated.
As an owner of GranSport Spyder I can confirm that F1 transmissions can last up 60000 miles. Some folks even do more. You should know how to drive them. That hype over manuals is a "flavour of the month". They are still produced to support demand: Evora, Z coupe from Nissan, etc. but you won't find F1 transmission for the bargain price like in Masi. 4.2 engine is also bulletproof. Happy driving to everyone!
The GranSport is shiny, but it's not as willing to tell its story, probably because it sat in a garage most of its life. The GT might have had some horrible things done to it, but it has character, and character does a lot for the emotional attachment to a car. Plus, as you said, it's already been bumped around and dinged up, so you don't have to worry about preserving its perfect paint job. You can drive it and have fun without that layer of anxiety! Also, it just sounds so much more rowdy, and therefore better. Glad to see another video, Elliott! Haha, thanks Colin! I don't even think Tyler has that picture of himself. I just have it on my phone from a few years ago when we were at Car Week. It's the only and best picture to use when referencing him 😂
I think you should turn your channel into a flip series. Sell the Maserati, Volvo and BMW, use that money to buy a car that is under valued and needs a little love. Something you can make some money with. Flip that car and trade into something a little nicer that needs the same thing. I love that concept on YT. Not many are doing it and that would interest me. Alex at LSC has a E39 he is working (slowly) and i love it. I think this would bring the views. You have the garage, the skills, and if you sell the fleet, some seed money.
The Ferrari engine bugs me because the internals are not Ferrari. Just like the people that say Alfa Romeos are also Ferrari engines. Even the 4 cylinder ones. Which they used to be, but aren't anymore. I've literally heard that the 4C was a Ferrari 458 engine, cut in half. That's not true! And the V6 was a V8 with 2 cylinders cut off. They didn't seem to have much care put into the design, which is why I agree with you on the far worse condition Car Trek version being better. It's so much more characterful and exciting looking!
I just can't get past the yellow headlights - I know it's like that on purpose, but it reminds me of a car thats been left in the sun for 30 years and the Perspex clear coat has gone all yellow and crusty - or some Japanese ricer from the 90's where everyone was putting yellow transfers over their headlights. Having said that the wheels on the other car look even worse than the headlights on Elliott's car - but then there is the awful mechano wing on Elliott's car... Oh well beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that... Anyway they are both lovely cars that have just had some questionable choices made and nothing that can't be fixed so I'd be happy with either of them :-)
Liking, commenting and .,...well...ive been subbed .... Love the verdict, over the fact that while one of the cars may be better, the other spawns so much more emotion!

@@ElliottAlvis ahhhh i havent been able to see season 2
@@joeschmoe5009 this is for Season 3
I just can't get past the yellow headlights - I know it's like that on purpose, but it reminds me of a car thats been left in the sun for 30 years and the Perspex clear coat has gone all yellow and crusty - or some Japanese ricer from the 90's where everyone was putting yellow transfers over their headlights. Having said that the wheels on the other car look even worse than the headlights on Elliott's car - but then there is the awful mechano wing on Elliott's car... Oh well beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that... Anyway they are both lovely cars that have just had some questionable choices made and nothing that can't be fixed so I'd be happy with either of them :-)
lol, those are all fair points!
It’s a Maserati, it’ll devalue it’s self.
Liking, commenting and .,...well...ive been subbed ....
Love the verdict, over the fact that while one of the cars may be better, the other spawns so much more emotion!
Thank you for your like and comment man! I am glad you agree with my verdict lol
Your take is correct, I love that car 😃
Thanks Ralph!
clean cars are just boring.
