I'm Australian. No, we don't talk like that, we don't wear hats with corks hanging from them (ever), nor a jacket like that, or use the term "bonzer." But apparently, we do carry large knives. LOL! Crocodile Dundee has a lot to answer for! The customer clearly has too much money if he sent his RM Williams boots to the UK for repair. Shipping costs must have been horrendous? In Australia, a new set of RM Williams boots will cost AU$595, so they need to be looked after with TLC. Great videos, I didn't realise that shoe repair could be so interesting. Well done!
good thing you didn't drink that Fosters because no one in Australia drinks that crap. Good job on the RM's apart from taking out the creases, RM's are the boot you wear all your life, the creases are what makes them the most comfortable boot on the planet because they have conformed to your foot over the years. It is not unheard of for someone to have the same pair of RM's for 20 or 30 years, only getting them re-soled when needed.
Gday mate! I love ur country and it’s tributaries! I’ve lived in London and the surrounding eras and even seen the changing of the guard and the Queen with her guard. I think 💭 they were on the way to Balmoral...I think 🤔 again, thank you for ur country and all its might.
will you expand the theme of your channel with things like "what to look for when buying a quality shoe" or what's the difference between the different types of soles, why is one more slippery than the other, how to pick a shoe that can be repaired later, some info on leather and other materials? from a UK/EU perspective. or just opinion video on shoes, quality, industry, trends, etc.

I stumbled across this video and, as an Aussie, I'm glad I did. I love my own pair of RM's, they're very comfortable boots and will certainly outlast me. from the inside is the proper way to attach heel blocks, if you try and secure it from the outside you "might" get away with it but risking it a bit.
@@Dan_the_cobbler But I think I saw you often do it from the outside in past video's?
From the outside is to secure the heel onto the block, the Inside the block onto the shoe.

I see your Mad Max and raise you, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994)
Great video both in content and production Thanks for taking the extra time to put a smile on all our faces.
RM Williams are the best boots I've ever worn. so comfortable
Thanks for the effort, nice video as usual.
Gday mate! I love ur country and it’s tributaries! I’ve lived in London and the surrounding eras and even seen the changing of the guard and the Queen with her guard. I think 💭 they were on the way to Balmoral...I think 🤔 again, thank you for ur country and all its might.
Great attention to detail, nice job. Thanks.
will you expand the theme of your channel with things like "what to look for when buying a quality shoe" or what's the difference between the different types of soles, why is one more slippery than the other, how to pick a shoe that can be repaired later, some info on leather and other materials? from a UK/EU perspective. or just opinion video on shoes, quality, industry, trends, etc.
Thanks for then ideas, I’ll give it some thought!
@@Dan_the_cobbler I second this. Shoes are expensive and I never know if I'm paying for quality or marketing voodoo
He can expand the theme with OnlyFans too. Just saying!
@@shenanigans3710 likewise, I have feet that’ll just walk right out of anything but lace up boots and rock climbing shoes
Hello, i come from Germany.... your work is fantastic!!!!!!
Bloody awesome job Dan, considering we can get local cobblers or return to original factory for factory refurbishment of our RMW boots, IT IS HIGHEST PRAISE to see these boots sent around the world for your fantastic touch.....that is a seriously fantastic outcome, 10/10.
Professional repair work , well done 👍

Foster’s is so bad we send it to the US and Europe! Great video, thanks for repping us in the Antipodes, pretty sure they have questions about Mad Max in our citizenship test! Great video, especially the multitasking edit! Quality, just like RM boots
Thanks for watching!
I was on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and ordered a Corona because I thought, it’s the typical drink of Mexico.
I was told it is one of the nastiest, cheapest beers in MX.
I wound up trying and truly enjoying a Modelo Negra, highly recommended!
Fun video. Good job from Hollywood Florida
You beauty mate, bobby dazzler, she's a wee ripper - oh no, that's Scottish? Great job mate and entertaining as usual. Thanks for the fancy dress, and that croc gag - you should be a comedian! Thanks Dan, you do have Aussie fans, and great to see the RM's copping some love. Cheers mate.
The Lord was in a very good mood the day he made you. Halelu!
it is because he works out. god did shit it was all him going to the gym working his ass off. what you see is years of dedication.
The Croc part 😂 love your work mate
another great job and super funny video!!
Great job, you are doing very well just relax dan
I stumbled across this video and, as an Aussie, I'm glad I did.
I love my own pair of RM's, they're very comfortable boots and will certainly outlast me.
One thing though: If you see someone drinking a Fosters you know they're not Australian. No one here drinks it.
Thanks for the entertaining video.
Should have been VB!
@@Dan_the_cobbler Not Vomit Bombs!! They are the worst of our beers!
I remember finding a case of Coopers green one afternoon at the wine shop in Kings Langley! I was working at the Full Moon in Cholesbury at the time and getting sick of drinking warm Doom Bar!
Wanted to show the locals that you can have great ice cold ale, cask mark be damned!
This guy looks like he had/has a very kind mum.
Had no idea how much work goes into shoes like this
Great stuff mate
Really makes you appreciate the service to value ratio
The tank and vest suite you very well and show off your ink and your guns
Woof
Great Job. I love your Craft.
In the late 90's I played in a ska punk band. We would open for Bowling for Soup and it was packed. Before they signed onto Jive Records they had shenanigans. Chris the guitar player would cut the bottom of a fosters can and down it. They used to ask us if we could get our crowd to stay. Oh how things change.
Fosters...HA! Love your work mate. I'm about to have my RMW Dynamic Flex resoled.
I am commenting just because RUclips likes it and that will help the channel, good luck mate, I really enjoyed the crocks joke :D
Dan awesome video...show those muscles! Ben in SW Florida
