    I’m headed to Rice to pick my new Casita in about three weeks. I’ve learned a great deal from your videos over the past year. Just wanted you to know your content is genuinely appreciated. Thank you.

      His videos are the best! Whenever I need to sanitize my water line I refer to his work. The Casita has enabled us to cook and have running water here in North Florida with the hurricane.

      Do you live in Texas I was asking because camping in the heat wondering if this camper handles the heat we have a KZ and it has the side air conditioner and nope it doesn’t work well in Texas summers.

    We haven’t felt the need for the sewer support, yet. Even on full hookup sites we keep the valves closed and only use the hose when we need to dump.

    • @CasitaRvLife
      @CasitaRvLife  10 месяцев назад +2

      We only dump when our tanks are full or we are leaving. We still think it helps. We have also been at several campgrounds that required them. If you are comfortable with your setup and it works for then that is all that matters.

    Just one more thing...good stakes for the awning. We use our awning a lot and even though we bring it in when there's inclement weather they still give me peace of mind. Thank you for another great video and I'm interest to know how you like that sewer hose support.

    I am interested in the container for your Rhino sewer hose and how did you attach it to the trailer. Do you have a video for it? Thanks. Your videos are very helpful.

      Sorry we don't have a video but we used Stainless steel u-bolts to attach it. Here is the link. They are a little expensive but we wanted stainless so they would not rust. amzn.to/45WxOmt

    I see you have an electric jack for your hitch. My trailer is new to me and I bought a Stromberg Carlson electric hitch but I don’t know how to wire it into my battery which is at the back of my trailer. Any help?

    • @CasitaRvLife
      @CasitaRvLife  10 месяцев назад +2

      One of the wires on your seven pin connector to your vehicle is +12v dc. This wire is always hot and would work for the jack. Use the frame for ground. Make sure to put an inline fuse just after the connection.

    • @ralenepishue497
      @ralenepishue497 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@CasitaRvLife I’m sorry what does this mean? How do I attach it to the seven pin and where does the fuse go? How do I do that?

    • @CasitaRvLife
      @CasitaRvLife  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@ralenepishue497 you will have splice into the seven pin cable and install a fuse holder. I would recommend having a certified RV tech to install it if you are not comfortable with wiring.

      @@CasitaRvLife thank you. I know of someone who can help me, now that I understand the steps. Did you get my other question about the utility chase being of thin fiberglass? Can I cut into it to get to the water line? I so appreciate you helping me to understand the workings of my Casita. 👍

    I had a Scamp 13 for five years
    Really enjoyed it
    Had to give it up when the Pandemic hit
    Job required me to be there so I had zero time off
    Things haven’t changed much since then so I have gone backwards to tent camping when I get two consecutive days off
    Happy Camping 🏕️
