Are you using this for a generator or just for storage? If you use a generator… which generator size do you recommend for the casita?

Taking our "new-to-us" Casita out for the 4th of July weekend. This was sooo helpful. Is there anything to know about the fridge BEFORE we leave home, then when we get to the campsite. Put on Propane when leaving campsite (got that from the video). Thanks, Gerry in S. Oregon

You should change out the frame to alumium avoid all that rust.

Is this low press or high press propane connection? Do you need a special grill for it or will any propane grill work?

Great DIY video Greg . So , that’s a regulated access connection. Or a low pressure connection.If you have a regulator on a cook stove , you might have to change the cook stove connection? 👍😁

Where did you get the male snap that fits it?

After camping in Destin for a few days recently I realized how hard and loud the compressor starts on my casita Mach 8. In the video, you mentioned some splicing was required. Do you feel the soft start you used is any different than one from softstartusa ? I’d prefer not to deal with a splice.

The exterior front storage addition looks quite useful, but seems like it would considerably alter the aerodynamics of the trailor, which is one of the positives of the Casita.

Only about 3 hours away may have to add this park to our "to-do" list. Thanks for the review!

I have been looking at buying a Casita. I have seen mini spit AC/DC units that can run on 400 watt start then 200 watt run time and were solar powered. I was wondering if it was possible to hook a Mini Split up to a Casita? I just dont want the expense or noise of a constant running generator, even a Honda 2200i which I have now.

Great video. I am considering an electric tongue jack. Do you know where Casita taps into the DC power? The battery compartment is a long way from the trailer tongue. Does Casita tie in to DC in the closet on the main trailer power harness or run another wire all the way back to the battery? An additional video showing a brand new electrical connection on how Casita does a factory install would be great for those of us with the old hand crank. I really appreciate your videos and the straight forward manner you give information. Love subscribing to your channel as a fellow Casita owner. Keep up the great content and thank you.

I installed a similar softstart on mine but I had to turn my A/C on & off 5 times so that the softstart could "learn" my A/C. I like that it doesn't have a jolting thump every time it comes on now but I still hate that the A/C itself is sooo loud. I've heard a Houghton A/C is much quieter but of course that would cost a lot to replace & I can't justify that expense.

How did you secure the softstart box inside the unit? It didnt look like you used screws in the mounting location. Double sided tape?

Enjoy all your videos, would like to see one on ways to access roof top repairs (like AC) on Casitas. I’m leary of putting my body weight on the roof and/or falling. Thanks.

Hi thank you for your videos! I tow my Casita with a Jeep wrangler unlimited. Have you had any problems towing when you are climbing up mountain grades?

I’m going to look into that filter system! I actually put a port in the top of my water tank . I reach in and wipe the inside of tank clean . I found plastic particles inside tank from where manufacture cut ports . Some were stuck in pump intake line . Anyway, thanks Greg ! 👍😁

Great video. Thank you. I guess my pressure switch is ok as the pump comes on when I open a faucet. However with all faucets closed and power to the pump the pump cycles on for a few seconds then off. Repeats every 2-3 minutes. No visible leaks anywhere. Check valve? If so do you have a great repair video for that before I replace the pump?

I love your water fill hack! Adding a pvc valve fitting at the fresh water drain to fill (and empty) the Casita’s fresh water makes so much sense. Gotta get a 1/2” valve at Lowe’s! I wish my bypass opened and closed as easy as yours. Love your short the point “how to” vids.

I'm going to check out this system. We never boondock, but it would be nice not carry purified water. We don't trust those small inline filters, but this one looks substantial. Thanks to your table video, I made a small folding table that I think will meet our needs. We're heading to the New England area for a month and we'll see how we like it. Thank you for sharing!
