I had unbearable pain yesterday and i tried every natural sources to sooth the pain and it actually worked, literally the pain in my ear faded
Here are some tips:
1) peel a clove of garlic and warm it a little then put it in your ear hole, sounds skeptical but you won’t regret it
2) put a drop of olive oil in your ear hole, i did this few hours after taking the clove of garlic out.
3) drink warm water and gargle with salty, warm water, these tips sooth the throat
4) walk outside and get some fresh air, think positively and don’t let the pain control you, and always walk with your head titled up.
And yeah, i was complaining the night before, i wouldn’t say I’m perfectly fine now but it’s a huge difference, at least i can sleep peacefully now.

Steam bowls help with the pain... Boil water and add a few drops of rosemary and lavender.. Cover head with a towel and tilt your head..

You can burn your skin from steam and some people are allergic to essential oils so I wouldn't recommend that. Just go to the doctor, get it checked out and get some antibiotics and it should clear up

Ive had this ear infection for 2 weeks now. Its so painful.. i cant sleep... i cant eat right. its horrible, feels like im getting stabbed repeatedly in my ear drum....

If you have an ear infection I suggest getting it checked out immediately when you notice pain or discomfort. Right now I have a Middle/inner ear infection in both years, I can feel how the inside is extremely swollen and is basically blocking out all incoming sound, it is also VERY painful and good luck sleeping at night.. I suggest getting perscription pills from your doctor + ask for ear drops to help with pain, drink plenty of water as cold stuff like water/ice cream can ease pain a little

I had an ear infection from the end of October...then I do ear swab test and then this test shows which type of antibiotics is functional in my germs so I used it and I'm totally fine now alhumdullilah..but one thing keep in mind when ever you take shower put cutton cotted with vaseline and plug in your ear keep your ear dry until infection go away.

Actually certain infections can last 6 weeks or longer. I've had mine almost 3 weeks fml
Doctor I have a question , water got stuck in my inner ear after using " physiomer " which is water pressure that you insert it in your nose to clean it up , since that , I can feel bubbles inside my ear , and I can't hear good ... what should I do ?

He's a Pediatrician, a doctor who works with kids. Obviously his voice is going to be soft so he doesn't scare the kids or whatever.
It helps a little bit if you put a heating pad on your ear to relieve some of the pressure

Doctor David, my INNER EAR infection will NOT go away. The middle ear is laden with some sort of oozing fungus that has somehow gone through the inner ear. The doctor noticed a puncture in my eardrum. I'm assuming that's how the fungus migrated.

I had an ear infection in my right ear and it magically went away after a small pop noise, no drainage nothing. My jaw hurt really bad as well as my ear of course. But wait there's more, the infection just seemed to move to my left ear last night. I have better hearing than before but damn it hurts all over again! Ear drops seem to be working so I hope it all clears up soon. Ugh I'm tired of this. too many ice packs and ibuprofen over the last week. It's getting old.

Andrew Star I had an ear infection and I literally couldn’t hear out of my right ear. I didn’t do anything about it and it went away in about a month after a similar popping sound

Sir I got swear flue about 8 years ago. It lasted around 15 day. I take very hard medication to get rid of this. One night my left ear started swear pain until morning my ear started listening continuous beep sound ( ringing continuous). After a few days my right ear started ringing also. These problems happen just after my flue was vanished. After this I went to many ENT surgeons but that beep sound never gone. And I still have the same sound. Do you know or can help me out of this problem??

I have a middle ear infection and my doctor gave me a pink antibiotic I took it 3 times a day for 3 days already and doesn't seem to be getting any better. I can't hear through my left ear and stings every 10 seconds.
I had a nasty middle ear infection which complicated into a facial nerve infection and Bell's Palsy. I was on antibiotics for two weeks and had to tape one of my eyes shut when sleeping. The ENT needed to use a needle to suction it a few times. Not fun.
I had a double ear infection 1 month ago and now I think I have an other one because my ears are popping so bad and they hurt and also the other day I stuck my finger in my ear and 1 drop of water dripped out of my ear....and same with the other sode

Yikes the same thing happened to me got a double ear infection the end of Oct 2019 and just last week monday was diagnosed with another double ear infection. Just finished my antibiotics this past monday also on steroids and ibuprofen and tylenol for pain.

@xXDeadlyEyeXx 1. i'd use the earbud (qutip) at least once a day to make sure the pus is dried out (if you feel your ear is wet inside). 2. after eating anything, brush and on the tongue also and use a good mouth wash to gargle so well for 30 seconds so the stuff touches the tonsils etc. 3. use an antiseptic ear drop (2 drops) twice a day. the antibiotics should start working on the 2nd day. be sure to finish the course. also take honey it has anti bactirial properties. lol i keep getting this.
What if you have swimmers ear and on droplets for 4 days and then all of a sudden fluid still in ear and now popping in and out?

Got back from bali and when itched my ear this pooey stuff came out of it, ever since i have been itching it yellow wax comes out and now it hurts alot. So from now on no more itching.

I fixed mine with tea tree oil. Just put a few drops in and lay on your side, let it soak down. Do this every night for a few days

I'm 35 and dealing with my 1st ear infection. im on my 3rd day feeling deaf on one ear and fear i will stay like this:(. I suddenly had ear pain and felt immediate hearing loss so I went to the ER since day 1 because it was so painful omg! so I am on antibiotics for 10days and the doc said it will be better by 3rd day...um it doesn't hurt but I don't hear any better. it's Friday and I have to wait till Monday, bummer. also I did have a tickle cough going on and doc did say that could have caused it. idk.

I'm not recommending this but I found a few drops of hydrogen peroxide helped me. Sometimes on a q-tip. Sometimes just a couple of drops in the ear and then let it drain out.
But like I said, I'm no doctor, so I can't recommend anything. You might want also want to check out frankincense oil, because it has a lot of healing properties that you might be interested in, do some research. I apply essential oils (in a base oil) around my ear (or in my hair).
I found the hydrogen peroxide info online, too. The guy had a whole spiel on it, but you kind of have to know your own body and do your own thing. Our family has been using hydrogen peroxide for a number of uses for many many decades.

Getting kicked in the balls is 10/10 painful id have to say this ear infection is close at a 9 for sure 🥵

I had an ear infection when i was like 5-6 (can't remember) but i do remember hurting one night and i woke up from the pain and i was crying and then i had i believe has half a tablet of pain killer to smooth the pain and i went back to sleep after the tablet kick in and that all i can remember nothing else, don't know what happen before and after it or which ear it was but if i have to guess i would say left ear. And im 21 tomorrow so it was along time since i had it :)

Now when i was in the sauna dont inhale through the mouth. I inhaled through the nose so it gest into the eustation tube and that heat i don't nkow if it does but maybe kill some of the bacteria. But i also put the simple saline through the nose first. IT took about 3 or 4 days before i noticed it clearing. just to make sure the bacteria is gone i went back and got flonase to spray into my nose to get more antibiotic into the eustasian tube to kill off any left over bacteria.
How I fixed my ear answer antibiotics I vomited and my ear stopped hurt but after that fay I felt dizzy but after tag your beta I hated vomit

okay so i have an ear iffection and my ear is discharging liquid, its a clear to bright red color, i went to the doctor and i got amoxicillon, i gor the prescription today and took 3so far within the whole day (as perscribed) but its not helping i still got liquid running out of my ear and i dont know where its comming from.
The best thing for ear infections is a nasal spray as this delivers the solution in to the ear if you use it in a certain manner. I personally use sinusoothe as i had recurrent ear infections that antibiotics did not help. Since using this I have never had another infection.

Sunday night/Monday morning I experienced very muffled hearing in both ears and laryngitis. So I can’t hear or speak☹️. Went into urgent care Monday morning. They put me on antibiotics for 10 days. It’s now been 4 full days and not any bit of improvement. Should I be at least seeing some improvement by now? I have an allergy to penicillin, so they didn’t prescribe the “best” prescription, gave me the “next level down” perception. Hoping someone can give me some insight as to weather by now I should be noticing any improvements? 50 year old male.
Four days for me now on antibiotics. Doesn't seem any better or worse.

@@HankBukowski so the ear infection and fluid buildup behind the eardrums went away but the hearing loss still remained. When I went back to the doctor for follow up, she checked up my nose and noted that I was extremely congested and said that this congestion was pushing up against my eardrums, causing the hearing loss. She has me using a saline rinse and Flonase for the past month or so. I can only say that it is possibly getting better because I don’t have to have the TV volume up as loud as it was before. That said, the doctor said it could take up to 3 months for the congestion to fully clear up and was not guaranteeing that my hearing would be back to 100%. Well the three month period was about Memorial Day Weekend... I had a follow up appointment with the ent specialist and they did another hearing test. My hearing only improved about 10% from last time. I’m still doing the saline rinse daily (NeliMed) and I do feel the ears pop sometimes and regain the hearing for a second.
