You are the first person I have found to show everything I need. I believe I will now fall in love with my machine. It’s been in storage because of my lack of resources.
That was a great video! I started working with my Scan n Cut a few years ago but got sidelined with some health challenges. I’m getting back into it now and I’m so glad to have found you. Thank you Courtney for sharing this. I’ll definitely be watching for more.
Hi there, Courtney, very well-done video. I too have etched using the Armor Etch. Funny I used the same flower on a similar set of wine glasses. Did that as a project when I first got my seconded scan n cut. I am now on my third one the SDX250Dx loving it. Thanks for the video enjoyed watching.
Hi Courtney… another great video… i too am a gardner… had a small group of neighbors that would get together in each others yards… mostly on a ‘spur of the moment’ and we called it gardening… you have inspired me to make a set/grouping of glasses with the floral design… fond memories🥰🌷. I am in northern Illinois.
so cute. I scrape the excess cream back in the jar. I did 45+ pieces for Christmas (2022) wish great results. I’d like to try colored etching next time.
So nice to find my "go to gal" for my SnC! Easy to follow instructions with a fun sense of humor. I've always used vinyl on glass cutting boards, but wanting to try etching a name instead. Do you think it would show through the clear glass or stick to vinyl? Thanks!
I have tried to etch glass for a wedding present. I tried on a Pyrex casserole dish. I let it set for 15 minutes and not a scratch. You stated that the cheaper the better. So where and what name brand do you use? Will anchor casserole dish from Walmart work? Any help for me?
Usually I would say yes on reusing anything but since it's very important that the vinyl give a strong seal on the edges so no etching cream sneaks under I would go with not reusing it. - Courtney
Love watching your videos. Question... have you ever heard of or watched any videos by Jennifer Maker? She uses a cricut, but her info can be adapted to the SnC. Check her out if you've never seen her
Fab video Courtney. I have learned such a lot watching your videos!! Thank you.

I second this! My machine has literally been sitting unused since the day it arrived. Thank you Courtney!!!

Great tutorial!
Thank you! - Courtney
I saw a video a lady marked it with a dry erase marker where she wanted it so it was straight and “leveled”.
Couldn't hurt to have more direction lines. - Courtney
Love this video
great video's
Thank you for watching! - Courtney
The watching cream is sold at Hobby Lobby 😁. Sweet show!
I mean etching 😆
Allbrands also sells etching cream. - Courtney
Do you use permanent or removable adhesive vinyl to do this?
Hi Glennis. I always use permanent.- Courtney
Good Ideas ❤

❤ this video. I get a kick out of you calling everything "she".
Hi Shelda. I have to blame someone if I mess up so everything is a she lol. - Courtney
It states on bottle 1-2 minutes. I didn’t realize you can leave it on up to 10 minutes. 😮
The longer you apply it the darker the etch will be. - Courtney
Can you buy the blue blade solo? I don’t want the kit especially for the price ouch
The vinyl blade only comes in the kit. - Courtney
Can I reuse this vinyl on another glass if I want the same design? I feel like tossing it would be wasteful and overtime somewhat expensive.
Usually I would say yes on reusing anything but since it's very important that the vinyl give a strong seal on the edges so no etching cream sneaks under I would go with not reusing it. - Courtney
@@allbrands1976 damn Im just looking for a way to limit waste
Hi. You can wash the glass and nothing comes off?
I’m in charlotte nc

So much to do with this machine.
