    It looks like the blank plastic will act as a light guide for whatever you place on it or engrave/etch into it. Have you tried creating some thin designs to decorate the outer edge/sides of the blank. The part that faces outward. So not on the front or rear face of the material. That should be seriously cool to see. An extra bonus for whatever design is used on either face of the blank.

      Sounds like a fun idea. It would depend on the thickness of your acrylic however if it is a reasonable size, it would be worth trying this idea. :-)

    Great idea. Where do you buy your vinyl (what is it called) and stand?

      Thank you Lorri, it is frosted vinyl. I used the 3M brand and I purchased the vinyl and the LED light from Acrylic Blanks. They have a website. acrylicblanks.com.au/product-category/led-light-bases/. I also found a number of light kits on Amazon.
