Thank You Chris for explaining this to people. I'm so tired of my friends and family complaining about not seeing original films, while actively not going to see original films in theaters. It reminds me of people who complain about McDonald's and Walmart, but will not support their local food restaurants or local family ran groceries stores. I think people are full of it. At your local theater there are original films there every week but guess what people don't watch them. People are Ad driven about what they watch while complaining about ads. You can't make this up. People love to be told what to do, eat, watch, and what to buy. But complain when they don't like it.
I get this movie has an agenda, but I couldn't see this movie outside of this perspective: A young couple is attempting to maneuver a world outside of their very small bubble when they move out of their small town. They probably had no major flare-ups, and considering the religious influence, there probably wasn't a whole lot of discussion regarding potential obstacles in their marriage (just pray it away) This young woman is now getting this attention that she probably hasn't gotten, aggressively, by somebody that she has to work closely with, so it's all very new and overwhelming. Then, the young woman is assaulted. The rest of the movie is her dealing with the trauma and not being able to communicate about it with anybody. There are only 2 people that know about her assault is her, and her assailant. In some messed up way, she probably felt like that was the only connection she could have because, again, it's a young relationship where communicating openly with her husband seems daunting. Sure, she could tell her husband, but there's no telling on how he'd respond/handle it. If tp wanted to write a movie about a cheater getting their just dessert, he could have just done that. Adding the assault took it all out for me.
Exactly. There is no reason to have the assault and make the other dude basically Satan if the point was just to have a wife get comeuppance for cheating.

I'm glad y'all touched on everything, including the ending wigs (with some grey in them I guess Brice finally owns that pharmacy 😅 😅) which I thought would get a bigger reaction from Billy, and I'm surprised y'all didn't make the same joke y'all made back in Spill where the twist should have been that Harley was the actual devil lol. Nevertheless, this was a fun one and really funny. I remember when I first saw this movie I was mainly comparing it to the play version. There Judith didn't get HIV, and her turn was much quicker from what I remember, so in this movie version I was actually praising it for giving her those legit consequences. Lance Gross who plays Brice is pretty inshape and probably deserves more film roles. 53:23 that joke probably has a long pause because Tyler anticipates that the audience is going to be laughing so hard, much like the Vanessa Williams scene which everyone in the theater I was in did laugh at 😂 😂. Perry's movies are essentially for those reactions, as y'all have brought up before. Doing things to make the audience go "ooh!" at almost everything hince all the mini twist, the mother lying about Judith's dad, Kim Kardashian insults, and Judith saying the things she says when she turns, and of course Harley slapping Judith and Brice fighting him through glass. It's what has made him his money in the same way Horror movies make their money by throwing in jump scares and fake outs to make a teen audience go "eek" and scream in their seats. In addition, both Perry films and Horror are well known for being films the audience can talk back too in their reactions 🤣 🤣. Lastly, with the ending of Judith walking slow, I remember my auntie was upset with that and this whole movie particularly because she felt like instead of having a christian woman walking slow to church all defeated, Tyler should have instead showed how a christian woman can rise above that, and she noticed that after some years Brandy's character is still stocking shelves at that pharmacy 😆 😆. All in all, I can see potential for good writing here just needed better execution although I dont know if it would have been as funny or memorable. Anyways, thanks to those who read my essay here. Have you seen their review of Tyler Perry's A fall from Grace? I go back to it every four months or so. Hilarious!
@@sophiaandre139 yeah I watched that funny ass video.definitely one of the funniest 😂😂😂
Street fighter was also funny as hell😂
Acrimony is one of the best 😂 most of the criticisms with this movie are present in that review 😂
Watch their review of samurai cop lol
I gave up trying to get through a Tyler Perry joint a long, long time ago. I'm satisfied with the decision, thanks DT for taking the bullet and reviewing this.
I have been patiently waiting for this episode to drop!! You guys did not disappoint! Priceless!

Tyler Perry movies are so questionable, can't help but to make fun of it sometime.
Kk sucks
I’m so glad y’all waited for Martin to get back. This was amazing! 😂😂😂
Not sure why, but I just realized Tyler had Brandy and Kim K in the same movie. I hope they weren't ever on set at the same time 😬
Why? Do they not get along?
@@AuthorJanaeMarie I think both had a thing with Ray j.
@@AuthorJanaeMarie Ray J is Brandy's brother, and I'm sure you know that connection lol. Also Kim K was Brandy's stylist and stole thousands from her while working for her.
I’m not gonna lie, it is SO hard to be afraid of this man. They picked the most Little Bill, Out of the Box, Nickelodeon looking ass nigga to play an abuser and I just ain’t believe him 😂🤦🏾♀️🤣
I’m having my little cousin come beat him up. Period. 🤣🤣🤣
nickelodeon lookingass nigga😭✋🏿 sir!
Sometimes it is those Little Bill looking ass being abusers.
@@DZADangerous Can’t argue there-
😭🤣🤣🤣 out of the box looking ass
I have been anticipating this part two more than I anticipated Endgame, and the wait felt longer lol
Actually had they gone the supernatural literal demon route, it might've worked. It'd still be absurd but even more fun 😉
interesting
The most anticipated sequel of the holiday season has finally arrived
I was genuinely afraid this wasn't going to come out after how many days had passed since part 1. I thought somehow Tyler Perry got you guys. XD
Yeah me too. I was waiting so impatiently.
Somehow this was my very first Tyler Perry movie I ever saw in theaters, no madea movies or anything else I left, my girlfriend asked me what i thought and I said I wasn’t sure if I just saw the worst piece of shit ever or the best movie I’ve ever seen I was so confused
So if I was the husband I would have bailed to the courthouse for a divorce and told her never come back...don't care how long we were together...lol
Whitney Houston was suppose to play Judith’s mom initially but she passed away a few yrs before. I still do not how the movie ended; like oh, well this is what Judith gets because of what she did and her life is irreparable. Granted, there are consequences to actions of what Judith did but Geez. It’s just so depressing.
It's especially fucked up when you think of her as a woman trying to cope with the fact that she was raped, I mean this all happened within a few days/less than a week
Why is it depressing
She most definitely found out the grass wasn’t greener on the other side.
And the phrase most fitting for this: Fucked around and found out
I am so excited about this! I’ve been checking on it for weeks!😁
Hell yeah 🤣
Me too😅
He said “He went from Idris to Denzel to Ike Turner” LOL 😂😂😂💀💀💀
Lance Gross, Bryce, he's the actor who was pushing to be the DCEU Green Lantern very early on
I could see it.
I watched this movie in health class one year lol! I never thought it would ever come back to my brain ever again
So Judith got.hiv ,aged about 8 years and turned into a.diffrent.woman.? Is Bryce the only pharmacist in town?
Yeah is there no Walgreens or Rite-Aid in the area? 🤣
Apparently cocaine makes you very very sleepy
Come on Tyler I don't even touch the stuff and I even know thats wrong
An isomniac's dream to take a bump and fall asleep
Time for a great Wake 'N Bake. I live in Canada, it's -20 degrees Celsius outside, it's my day off, I got the heat turned up, loaded up the bong and laughing my ass off. Thanks Korey, Martin and Billy, you dudes just made my Saturday morning.
My type of morning 😆

I'm so glad that I stumbled across this channel. You guys are hilarious!!!😂
Mechad probably heard that Billy roast and was like “oh up yours”. 😂
That goddamn plot twist was crazier than any movie plot twist in this era.
M. Night Shyamalan would been jealous
Judith’s mom’s wig is a helmet of salvation!
I don’t blame Bryce for rubbing his family in her presence. After all, she did the same thing to him when she was with Harley. She was getting dropped off by him at his house
There has to be a museum of Tyler Perry man hair wigs on the studio grounds, because this is ridiculous!😅😅
4:51, billy's laugh alone makes that mildly amusing moment so much funnier
Y’all m, I’ve been waiting patiently for this one. Nice it’s time to sit on my balcony in Mackay, Australia, have so eggs on toast, and watch part 2 to the review!
Put a little vegemite on that toast for me will ya??
29:05 Billy's response 😂😂 "nah man" 😂😂
When Brandy did say that her ex Wine and dined her I did guess the twist that it would be Harley lol. I am at least glad I got that one since I didn’t guess he’d be evil in second half lol. I forgot how Bryce was so slow on the road.
I did enjoy Vanessa Williams and the actress who played Frans mom at the pharmacy
Interestingly, with all the Bad Movie Roasts for Tyler Perry’s movies, A Jazzman’s Blues received the highest reviews of his filmmaking career
A Jazzman's Blues is REALLY one of his BEST films since The Family that Preys. Gotta give credit to where credit is due!
I really enjoyed that film, it made you feel for the main character right off the rip
It shows that TP can make good movies but he would rather make low effort smut that he can pump out quickly.
@@natedoggcata Exactly! Good Deeds was a good movie as well.
Koreys glare at Martin 29:15 lmaooooo
I get this movie has an agenda, but I couldn't see this movie outside of this perspective:
A young couple is attempting to maneuver a world outside of their very small bubble when they move out of their small town. They probably had no major flare-ups, and considering the religious influence, there probably wasn't a whole lot of discussion regarding potential obstacles in their marriage (just pray it away)
This young woman is now getting this attention that she probably hasn't gotten, aggressively, by somebody that she has to work closely with, so it's all very new and overwhelming.
😂😂😂😂 that cry after he was called a crack baby
Billy hitting em with the "nah playa" KILT me 💀💀🤣
Damn it! We didn't get Billy in the Black Suit.. 😂

A Regular Retro Movie Review: Undercover Brother.
And the Ladies Man.
I love that this movie has a happy ending 😀
Right. 😏
Please review Atlanta season 4 . In one episode they roast Tyler Perry so good!
I've been waiting for part 2. 🤩🤩🤩 It's about to get crazier.
Happy Holidays everyone 😎!

Tyler Perry is creepy asf but his female leads are always crazy and smoking hot - such a double edged sword.
