Have you heard about a thing called "fence"? In my country, that's what we use. And we never have problems with deer or any other creatures, either. With moles, sometimes. They tend to get over (under) fences. But that's the most.

Thank you so much. Want to plant some peas down here in Texas....we like the purple hull and zipper cream, etc. But so do the deer.
Will definitely get some of these tactics in place. Great video. Thanks for sharing your success. Jesus bless.
Just a quick note....your music was sort of competing with you instead of background. Not criticizing...want to see your channel do well.

    Great ideas!!!!
We had a problem with deer coming in at night so we used Dollar Store solar lights mounted on posts to cast their light on shiny pin wheels.
    The deer never came back

Three things deer dont like .......... 1. A person holding a rifle....... 2. a rifle making the " bang " noise........ 3. a bullet hitting that said deer.

I think I will try these; the deer around here have even begun climbing the steps to come up onto our deck so they can eat my plants.

They came upon our porch one year. Now they won’t leave our cantaloupe vines and jalapeño peppers alone. Not touching the watermelon yet. Gonna be a lot of hunting this year.

Two things that have worked successfully:
    1. Irish Spring soap
    2. Shotgun

Simple solution....works every time ! Buy a cheap 22 long rifle....a scope for it.....and...... subsonic bullets ! Zero the rifle at 50 yards. Shoot " not " to kill. I promise....they will not come back !!!!!! Good out to 125 yrds. Bullet drop..... Zero at 50 yrds..... Aim 2 inches high at 75 yards.... 6 inches at 100 yards...... 14 inches high at 125 yards......etc....... Quiet...... very effective !!!

Won't work on my deer. They have no fear. They just stand at my back door and ask why I didn't plant more goodies for them.

repost after a year. Deer Can acclimate to most things. If it doesn't harm them they figure that out.
I was trying to build a wheeled roving electric Dog that could sense them Via Infrared, chase them, making lots of noise, and then when they realize it's just noise and flashing lights ram them with a sharp little spear-point fixed to the "dog."
I gave up and put up an 8-foot fence, but I ain't fencing several acres.

Yes! I tried the Irish Spring trick and it worked great!- for about a week. Now, they eat the bushes in spite of the soap being right in the branches.

@@emersonlangstaff1527 Yup. for my garden, I put 6" posts 4' deep with h braced corners and gate and installed 6-foot tall high tension fencing an electric fence and wire 8 feet in the air to dissuade them from jumping. For the crawlers I dug all the way round the garden and installed galv' hardware cloth extending out 3 feet from the fence. So far my only invaders have been squirrels. Some one with robotic skills could make a killing building a deer chasing robot that returned to it's charging station after harassing the damn giant rodents out of the yeard.

@@Raul28153 LOL...great idea. Where I live it is Mule Deer. Super acclimated to humans and are pretty bold. Had hopes for Irish Spring:) I think the multi-barrier/deterrent ideas will work, and like you said to protect down into the base soil for rabbits and such.
How about for gophers? I'm planning to build an 8' fenced enclosure (16 x 24 or so) to do fruit trees and some planter boxes. Was thinking to put chicken wire over the entire ground in the enclosure, then do the tighter, heavier stuff at the base of the planter boxes? I have about 2/3 acre and there are so many gophers! What do you think?

@@emersonlangstaff1527 I got the buried galv' material from Dog kennel people who run underground fencing inside the kennel a few feet. the dogs go up to the fence and that's where they dig. It never occurs to them to try a back a couple feet. I would guess the gophers are no smarter than the dogs. Here we have ground hogs. They are destructive as hell. So far, not a one. Yet several live in the woods behind my garden.
