    Thank you for this fabulous recipe. I am so happy with being able to see my beautiful blooms on my plants. I am elated at the results of the easiest deterrent that I have ever had.

    Love the videos thanks!! Have you ever tried hanging bags of dried blood? The bag is a breathable. I heard this works good for deer because they are scared of the smell of blood

    The cheapest way to get your pepper & hot sauces is at the local Hispanic grocery. Get a bag of whole dried peppers & put in blender.

    Having made a similar mix I found that mixing it in a blender before fermentation kept it from clogging the sprayer.

    Do you strain it through a coffee filter or similar to keep it from clogging the screen in the sprayer? Maybe a Nat proof window screen might work to strain it fine enough. I've found sprayers very sensitive.

      Yeah what I use are these very inexpensive paint strainer bags you can get at hardware or paint stores. They are cheap and do a good job.

    I love my deer. I eat deer meat just about every day. But man I'll tell you they sure do love to eat my cantaloupes. I guess its a fair trade. This type of repellent works pretty darn good overall.

    Can you use the repellant in a yard with bee hives.

    • @BareMtnFarm
      @BareMtnFarm  9 месяцев назад

      Yes, you can because it's not toxic. It is about the smell in the area.

    How stinky does it get? I mean we sit like 4 ft away from our bushes…. Will it be awful?

    • @BareMtnFarm
      @BareMtnFarm  Год назад +2

      The smell goes away in about a day from the human point . The deer can still pick it up and the hot pepper is there when they taste it. Needs to be reapplied on fast growing new growth and rain or overhead watering. Thanks for watching.

    Have you had any issues with drawing in rodents?

    • @BareMtnFarm
      @BareMtnFarm  Год назад +1

      If you mean rodents like racoons, nutria, rabbits, skunks, they are here everywhere. If you mean mice, rats and voles, we have a pack of cats that do a good job keeping them away.

    Can you use baby shampoo

    • @BareMtnFarm
      @BareMtnFarm  Год назад

      I am not sure. You will have to try it out on something deer like but you can risk being eaten. Castile soap might be alternative. Thanks for your comment.

      Well the great thing about RUclips is you don't have to pay for it. So if it's not your cup of tea, great. Just swipe away, no hard feelings. But what I don't understand about people who don't like a video that wastes their time is why they then spend their limited precious time writing comments about how they don't like to waste time watching your videos. Kind of strange isn't it? Sorry for jibber jabbing about jibber jabber. 🤔
