- On my final day in Sosua, I go down to the beach for some last minute fun. On the beach, I will be met with a range of adult options - and temptation. Will I succumb to the peer pressure and my own desires? Maybe yes, maybe no.
Despite the flood of American tourists, this beach is rich with elements of Dominican and Haitian culture. Let's get knee beach in all of it..... LET'S GO!

Have you tried the Jamaican restaurant in Sosua? Its on the side street across from RUMBA'S, maybe a 15 - 20 second walk on the left hand side.

Well, Keenan, I will give you your props for mentioning directly why some men travel to the DR. What gets me was the situation with Auston and his Brazilian incident, which I won't go into detail but I'm sure you're aware of. Some European men have vlogs where all they mention is short vs. long time, what it should cost you, etc. To each his own. But the hypocrisy in which people dogged Auston still sits badly with me.
Racism out in the world is ridiculous…. And rather unfortunate but it’s a constant we deal with…

They create it and the "government" helps them. If the black people of JA aren't careful, in a couple of generation's they will be like the indigenous people of Hawaii. Marginalized to slums, if they are not driven off the island altogether.

Good Vid, and my first time there was 1989, so I have seen change. I will not waste money on dating in the USA, as prefer to go where I am treated better and more highly valued. IMHO white ladies fell first in US so I could still date black ladies, but now for the most part, none are dateable in the USA even immigrants once they are here 3 years or longer. I retire on Monday, and I am out of here. Let the last man standing turn the light off.

Mamajuana is a Dominican drink …. It’s a combo of Rum, Red Wine, Honey + tree pieces.
When you run out…. Just add more of the liquid mix into a bottle and let it rest for 2 weeks.
Some of the older guys would have had turtle meat in bottle for additional potency.
Soup didn’t look too appetizing. I’ve been to DR twice. First time I only stayed in Santo Domingo for 5days and loved it. 2nd time I went and stayed for almost a month in Santiago/ Santo Domingo. The prices are ridiculously high. I don’t know if I was just naive but I whenever I went grocery shopping or ordered off Ubereats felt like it was just as high as being in NYC 🤦🏾♂️😂…the women is the ONLY thing keeping guys going back there. At least in a Colombia or Brazil or Thailand there’s more to keep you interested. But DR is a big no for me, I’d never go back. I also spent two days in Puerto Plata which was cool but I realized that was the start to Sosua and all the gringos so I just left back to Santiago. I ain’t dealing w/ that over-sexualized setting 😅😂
The soup just needed some pepper, thyme and more ground provisions to hit for me..... Sosua is a damn waste of time. The prices are wildly inflated. We need to start decentralizing this travel thing in order to protect our pockets..... No more Sosua, Cartagena, Medellin... Damn it lol
