I remember the first time I ever played this game. Back in the good old days, I asked my friend if he had any good recommendations for great looking games on the Xbox 360. He recommended me Bioshock Infinite. I didn’t think much of it at first, checked out the gameplay, seemed like a pretty decent shooter with some cool superpowers (I never heard about the bio shock series before this). Got around to getting it, inserted the disk and got right into that bad boy. I remember not thinking much of it at all, didn’t even expect I’d finish it, just wanted to satisfy my craving for good graphics and fun combat. But then the screen went completely black as I hit new game. “Booker, are you afraid of god?” “No. But I’m afraid of you.” Just like that, the entire mood changed. That’s when I came to the realisation that I was completely not prepared for the experience I was about to receive. And boy, was this game an experience.
The fact that you just casually mention the zeppelin fight that took me hours to beat in 1999 mode makes me sad. Also, none of the Elizabeths at the drowning are the one Booker traveled the whole game with. Remember choosing the bird or the cage brooch for Elizabeth? None of them were wearing it. Awesome video.
I never played the game on 1999. That fight was difficult enough on the regular difficulty! Thanks for watching. I'm currently midway through the next part in the timeline. The events just after Infinite and before Bioshock 1.

You sir have done a very great job with this. This might be the simplest, concise, shortest explanation Ive seen of the entire game that explains everything from Wounded Knee>Beginnings of Columbia and all the details some players have missed>the game we play. Good job
Wow, thanks! I felt like the lore videos I could find on Bioshock didn't tell the story how I wanted. I wanted to have the main moments there, and visual it too so it was easy to follow. Thanks for watching! I'm currently working on the second part. It's set 7 years after the events of Columbia - as Rapture is being built.
Infinite was my first Bioshock game when it came out and I had no idea what was going on. Now I've just finished all the games and DLC and I'm so lucky to be in the realty where you made these videos to connect it all together :)
I've just played this game for the first time and this video clears up all of the questions I had about not just the ending, but the entire story. I didn't know that Fink was looking into Rapture and that was why the plasmids could be carried over into this completely different setting. I think even in 2020 this is one of the best stories ever told in a game.

This a little late but it because Elizabeth body exist in 2 dimensions at the same time so say the history in one dimension get rest well the other dimension still has history of the event therefore forcing history upon the oth
Only way she could exist is if he had her before he went to the first baptism surely. Also different timelines might have it where Annabel never died so no debt, no transaction. I presume we're looking at the versions of Anna where Booker becomes the false prophet or Comstock. If that is true, it might be a different version of her or a different version of rapture. If she can open tears in one universe it's likely she's able to do it in other realities. Also might have something to do with her existence in multiple realities kinda similar to the twin(s) where technically she's not in one place or another, breaking the timeline in a sense.
It's just a theory I had while I played the game but since Elizabeth can open and travel throught tears, she doesn't know exactly what timeline shes entering. Maybe there's still one timeline where she doesn't drown Booker/comstock therefore forcing more history i.e the sea of doors.

That was perfect. Well done! Its such a good and complex story. I just really wish they hadn't crammed it into the last 20 minutes of the game - leaving everyone running to the internet for answers.
@@Skyrionn well I'm a subscriber now so I'll be sure to see it. Two points: 1) At the very end you said "until one remains" but it cuts to black before we can see if she remains or is erased. I think logically she is erased as well. 2) Either people miss it or its more obvious than I think, but the setting of the baptism/drowning takes place where the river forks off into 2 different paths. I thought that was as nice poetic metaphor as that's where and when Booker/Comstock's paths split.
@@grezz247 Yes, thank you! Welcome aboard! With the first point, I did play with that line for a while and how to phrase it. I settled on that, due to how Burial At Sea plays out. We know an Elizabeth exists because we see her. With the second point, I love how poetic this game is. It's visually stunning, and tells a story without having to spoon feed the player. I love the series so much.
This is probably THE best infinite explained vid. Extremely necessary too for such a complex game, love the plot but boy can it be hard to follow at times lol.
This is a really good fucking video. I have never understood the lore behind it, and now I pretty much do! Never stop mate you have got mad skills at making these videos.
Thanks Jet! It was so fun to explore and understand it properly myself before re-telling the story. It was a lot of work, but seeing the complete thing was the best feeling!
Thank you! Please share it around if you can. I have the voiceover completed for the final part of the timeline (which continues from the decline of Rapture to present day). I'll be starting work on the visuals soon.
You missed the after credits scene. In that booker wakes up in his detective office, seemingly distressed about Anna and it is then revealed that Anna is there and he is "born anew" in a timeline where he did not give Anna away and is rewarded this new life as he chose the 3rd option (to drown) at the end.
This is the second time of me watching this. I can't get enough of bioshock and your videos are the best ones I found on youtube to recreate the memories of this game. Love you dude. Would you kindly?
I understood the main chain of events the first time I played, but didn't get some of the side stories to do with Fink and the Lutece twins. Thanks so much! I'm a father, this story of the ultimate paternal sacrifice is so touching and heartbreaking. I love the game but it seriously messes with my heart.
Always working on more. Currently putting together some fact videos so that the channel isn't absent while putting together the next Bioshock timeline part.
The best explanation I have seen on Bioshock Infinite. Thanks for the video, I really appreciate your efforts and can't wait to see part 2. I got only one question that, if the Booker dies in baptism, does it mean he will be dead in all multiverses just like Comstock disappears due to death of Booker or Booker's death only serves to erase Comstock existance and Booker lives in another multiverse with his daughter Anna? Could you please answer this question? Thanks in advance :)

@@Skyrionn It looked like they were standing outside to me. But either way - I just finished watching the video, and this is honestly the best timeline video for Infinite out there. I wish this had been available back when the game first came out, because maaaan, this game blew my mind back then. I spent ages looking into this story, lol. Really great work!!!
@Jenya March Ahh, I get which bit you mean. When looking at main points and dates, it seemed like she was discovering her abilities before being out in the tower. It was also an excuse to make a tear like that. The next part may be a few months away (they take a while) but I do have a "Sims Stories" series and a "Facts" series, if that kind of thing interests you! Thank you again :)
Thank you! That was the reason for making these timelines. I wanted to show the story that was happening instead of the generic gameplay footage as I thought that showing the actions on screen would help people understand it more!
I remember playing this as like a 13 year old. Didn't understand anything that was going on and I'm interested in playing the game again after watching this
If the original Booker drowns before he could become Comstock, wouldn’t that also be before he could conceive Elizabeth? How is there an Elizabeth left?
i like how booker has never tried to justify his actions. he knows what he's done and knows nothing can fix what he has done. unlike comstock who always tries to prove his terrible actions are what must be done. it doesn't make booker a good person but a person who isn't a coward
I mean, I understand why people say that this doesn't work as a prequel. But, the game was actually an experience to treasure. I could feel Elizabeth's innocence die and rot as reality itself was shaped according to her perspective of the world. Even the bond between her and Booker was believable, it was like that of a Big Daddy and his Little Sister. The game might not follow the horror atmosphere, but overall, it seems to respect the saga's main ideas. That this world values children, not childhood. And that whatever big ideas we might have to change the world, in the end, we can't deny our real nature. We should always stive to become better, of course, but one single person imposing the change and simply having followers, not partners, isn't enough.
This story is very reminiscent of Donnie Darko, I like to think that the events in infinite are a self-contained loop, seperate from the main universe. At the end, we see the main universe booker, the booker who never went to the baptism.
Would you kindly share this with all of your Bioshock friends? I would really appreciate it!

I've only watched 2 minutes of this video yet, and I already understand way more than I've ever understood from playing the games and watching other videos. Good job explaining it so far :D
This is amazing, you laid this video out perfectly.
Thanks so much for your comment and for watching!
Thank you man! I finally get it, haha. Plus the Half-Life and Portal storylines were amazing too, hopefully your channel blows up so other can see your great videos, I'll do my part in sharing them. Thanks once again, and great video! 👍🏼
That's very kind! I really appreciate the comment. I'm always working on more content too! Stick around!
@@Skyrionn Awesome, will definetly be sticking around, that's for sure.
That was perfect. Well done!
Its such a good and complex story. I just really wish they hadn't crammed it into the last 20 minutes of the game - leaving everyone running to the internet for answers.
I so glad you liked it! I'm working on the next part currently :)
@@Skyrionn well I'm a subscriber now so I'll be sure to see it. Two points:
1) At the very end you said "until one remains" but it cuts to black before we can see if she remains or is erased.
You deserve more veiws my friend :)
I appreciate the comment! With more content will come more views I hope!
This is probably THE best infinite explained vid. Extremely necessary too for such a complex game, love the plot but boy can it be hard to follow at times lol.
It was hard to follow, but so worth it when you understand it!
Bruh 2 years later.... I applaud you. New subscriber, well done my friend.
i love these history videos, theyre a good recap for some and fill allot of info for others
They're my favourite things to make on the channel!
Amazingly well organized and detailed explanations. I've played this game a number of times yet missed many of the things you outlined.
Glad you enjoyed it!
this video is amazing. i kinda understood everything but really couldnt explain it until i saw this vid, thank u
Glad it helped! I really wanted to make something that was simple for the story :)
Goodjob bro, this is the most detail Bioshock explanation video I ever seen. loved it
Thanks a ton! I really appreciate you watching it and commenting.
Bro you deserve a lot more views for this video... This is brilliant work
Thank you so much 😀
Amazing video! Perfectly succinct and accurate, could you please make one for Burial at Sea episode 1 and 2?
Great video, can't wait for more!
I love you. You put so so much work into making these + the amazing quality and even professional like way of speaking and writing is truly amazing. You deserve so much more recognition for your hard hard work.
Glad you like them! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. I'm about half way through the next Bioshock timeline which focuses on the events between Infinite and Bioshock 1.
@@Skyrionn I should rather be thanking *you* for all the hard work you put into making these videos.. I'll check it out when I have time. Keep up the good work. And by the way, the video was VERY informative and gave me a much bigger insight into the world of Infinite. So thank you for that. Keep up the good work. :)
Just finished the game and I loved it, but I felt like I was missing so many pieces in the story... Thank you for this awesome video, now everything makes sense!
Did you found these details in the voice recordings? I can't believe I missed so many (T_T)
Glad you enjoyed it! It takes a few playthroughs to grab all of the tiny details. There's so much information in the voice recordings.
This video was great, yesterday I finished bioshock infinite and didn't understand many things but now I do please continue such great Content
Thanks bud! Really appreciate that!
These vids are some of the highest quality videos I have ever seen what so ever the fact that such a small channel relative to other similar quality have millions of subs dude. These vids are great hope you only the best
Wow, thank you! I'm waiting for the day that the algorithm picks up the video and shows people. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch it.
you know i was looking for what new games appeared on the market, like bioshock used to be. unfortunately none really appealed to me. then i thought about what an amazing game this was but i never really understood the ending. Thank God your video is one of the first if not the first recommendations I hope your channel will blow up. earned a new sub and def going to hear back from people i share this with! have a good one!
Awesome! I'm so glad that you clicked on it! I have more timelines and lore episodes on other games too. (I also have another Bioshock timeline in the works as the events of Rapture happen after Infinite). Thanks for commenting and finding me!
I love these editing. Jesus dude you deserve more subscribers and likes. I'll make sure to share this video. And I will definitely start the message with "Would you kindly watch this video".
Please do! Sharing would be so helpful! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment too! Thanks for watching :) p.s - I posted part 2 last week...
@@Skyrionn definitely gonna watch.
Great video. My all time fav game
Amazing vid . You made it very comprehensible, thank you!!!
You have special narrating skills!!..Thanks for this great video
This was exactly what I was looking for! Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome vid
One of the greatest games ever made, work of pure art
bro... This is the best explanation I've heard
Thanks so much!
This was very well done, great job!
Truly awesome compendium! Must have taken you a lot of time to pull all this together. All I can think of to say is BRAVO!!!!
It took months my dude, and there's two other parts which should be on a playlist somewhere! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@@Skyrionn Yes, I saw them and watched them all... nice work!!!
Just finished a replay on the 360. I understood a decent amount, just a few details that I missed.
Overall great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
4:59- Lol except Elizabeth would have been locked inside Monument Tower, but I appreciate your effort to recreate the scene.
I did put her in Monument Tower there, just before the Luteces had built the Siphon, unless I missed something? I appreciate the feedback. Always looking to improve!
I can't wait for the next part :D
@Jenya March Ahh, I get which bit you mean. When looking at main points and dates, it seemed like she was discovering her abilities before being out in the tower. It was also an excuse to make a tear like that. The next part may be a few months away (they take a while) but I do have a "Sims Stories" series and a "Facts" series, if that kind of thing interests you! Thank you again :)
Thank you. I tried to piece it together myself and this clarifies so much!
Glad it was helpful!
In love with the editing!
I love the images, adds another level of clarity and quality
Thank you! That was the reason for making these timelines. I wanted to show the story that was happening instead of the generic gameplay footage as I thought that showing the actions on screen would help people understand it more!
this is simply incredible congrats man!
Thanks a ton! I really appreciate that. Have you watched the next part?
Loved this video. i also liked how songbird drifts in the animation you made hahah.
Glad you liked it! I had a lot of fun putting this together. Have you watched part 2?
@@Skyrionn link it to me.

@@Skyrionn thanks! I’ll give it a watch.
I remember playing this as like a 13 year old. Didn't understand anything that was going on and I'm interested in playing the game again after watching this
If the original Booker drowns before he could become Comstock, wouldn’t that also be before he could conceive Elizabeth? How is there an Elizabeth left?
Great video and easy to follow, helped me understand this game so much more!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm working on what happens next currently! RAPTURE.
Skyrionn Sounds great! Subbed, I look forward it :)
Thanks for this video, I understand the storyline a lot better! The first time I got to know about this game I was so damn confused 😂
You deserve more subs
Thank you! Always working on more content to earn them.
i like how booker has never tried to justify his actions. he knows what he's done and knows nothing can fix what he has done.
unlike comstock who always tries to prove his terrible actions are what must be done.
it doesn't make booker a good person but a person who isn't a coward
I completely agree my dude. He was flawed, but he completely understood that.
We should always stive to become better, of course, but one single person imposing the change and simply having followers, not partners, isn't enough.
nice edit and very good explanation keep it up
👏👍 Your very impressive research about Bioshock Infinite timeline the truth his early life before beginning Booker came to rescue Elizabeth.
Thank you for this video. This story is great but a little complicated to digest on the first playthrough
Glad it was helpful! Did you check out the next part?
This story is very reminiscent of Donnie Darko, I like to think that the events in infinite are a self-contained loop, seperate from the main universe. At the end, we see the main universe booker, the booker who never went to the baptism.
One of the best videos i have watched keep it up
very good video! keep up the good work
Thanks so much! I appreciate that!
